I want to present you addon for support Xperia XA1 plus and ultra by flashtool .
Addon is unofficial because author of flashtool don't add support for this devices to repository .
Installation :
Unpack devices.rar via winrar to X:\Users\your_username\.flashTool\devices
In addon is :
Support for Xperia XA1 Ultra and Xperia XA1 Plus .
After update flashtool support this devices .
Addon have .fsc scripts inside folders !!

The tool didin´t create a directory under the mentioned path but in X:\Users\your_username\AppData\Local\Sony Mobile\Xperia Flash Tool and it didn´t create a folder called devices so I created inside a folder but still nothing happens.
This could be work only for older versions? Any idea?
When I tried to flash it says unlocked and send me to unlock bootloader but in fastboot device is not recogniced.

Hello, if I don't remember bad at that time my device wasn't detected properly and this didn't work for me, updated the drivers and could flash stock ROM, regarding custom ROM, I don't think exists one for this device, I sold it much time ago, it was not a good deal.
where did you find the update for drivers

any news about cm11 and can you check mokee nightly? as i see it has the same build.prop as your rom for dual, but i m not sure does there works on dual varient..

I found 2 different versions of this ROM on this forum :
- Archos_Diamond_Omega_EN_V106.zip
- NX595J_Z69_EN_VNG0N_V106.zip
I checked sha1sum of the files and that's not exactly the same ROM ... which one is the best ? I have a nubia Z17s 6/64Gb and I would go for the Archos because I guess that portability and translation maybe better ... What's your opinion ?

I am new and not expert, I would like to put,
1. NeoSafe (all chinese version has this)
2. ThemeManager (This app is very cool to change theme)

i want the Camera.apk file from Nubia Z17S phone, can u pls send me..it is in system / app or app-pvt folder.
u can view it from Root File Explorer.. you dont need an ROOT access to copy the file from system / app folder.

Due to the MediaTek processor, that's closed source, developers can't really develop for this device without breaking the law. MediaTek have always ensured that their source code isn't released making it difficult for a developer to actually make a custom rom. It's just unfortunately not going to happen for this device.
The Sony XA2 has a Snapdragon 630 processor so it's likely it will receive some more development than XA1. If you want to root you Sony XA1 device you can use on of links below.

There is no breaking the law or anything. And Sony has uploaded kernel sources long back.

The stock ROM is pretty awesome and there is little reason to unlock BL and make/install custom ROM.

hey i just want to confirm, i m using xa1 plus G3412 UAE, it does not have VoLTE option, i want to flash Indian firmware is it possible??
only a developer can tell this.. i searched every where but didn't get any information

Possible. yes.
But there is a chance of a brick.
Different firmwares may have different partition setups.
And if you brick the one with IMEI or Bootloader ,the phone is a brick.
The only way to confirm is a developer having a rooted UAE phone and a rooted Indian phone and mapping the partition tables.
or perhaps , peek into ftfs and then predict the partition setup. :victory:

The main issue i found is a lack of device tree from Sony, one would need to be built to even consider doing custom roms, LineageOS etc etc, i recently got this phone and i am rather disapointed with the lack of roms for it, ROM's could be ported to the phone no doubt, i know how to build roms and port, but doing a device tree is beyond me

Treble on AOSP . This is only on my rom , but recovery have problem with restore and after restore my rom via recovery wifi don't working correct .
New ROM based on stock Kernel to be soon .
Will you make a video to show us how to install this safetly? , because 1 Month ago i tried to install a ROM on my XA1 and i totaly bricked, but was repaired in warranty,and i don't want again to happen.

That's all . You don't need more . Fastboot is very safe and you can install boot img via fastboot .

You should have the bootloader unlocked, so you can use the fastboot to flash this kernel. Just it.

First one hour can stay on sony logo , but later all will be work correct and faster . Your rom must to be the same as kernel . What is your model ????
it doesn't stick on the sony logo though it keeps restarting and not progressing any further , i am using xa1 g3121 i had stock rom so should of worked fine i think ? . Any way to restore twrp as i used a different recovery.img before and now i can't use twrp either lol

Soo TWRP at this moment don't working . If you have stock rom in your G3121 (i have too G3121 but reworked to G3112) , you must upgrade your device , not only rom, bootloader, software etc. You must upgrade all ... next you restore rom and kernel . I add soon medium rom and know how about upgrade device .
OK I keep looking see for updates will you be able to get recovery working with your kernel and rom? for now I rolled back to nougat and managed to get rooted with twrp again. Frustrating there seems to be no way to get this to work on oreo though. The firmware I have now makes camera pretty rubbish as autofocus doesn't seem to work.

In next releases I add recovery working fully with kernel . At this moment re-work your phone without some partitions to G3112 , and use my oreo with kernel in last version (v5 - v5 i upload today) with working autofocus and other nice functions .
How do I rework to a different model? I'm not sure how to do that
With the same method . I wrote how to in post . Important is the same model not other !! If you have xa1 you can rework to xa1 too , not to xa1 plus , ultra etc.
