Has anyone every changed USB flex cable assembly on Zuk Z2 131-132 (not pro). My usb port is partially dead: only takes charge from QC-3 charger. E-bay and Aliexpress only list parts for Zuk Edge and Zuk Z2 pro. They are different cable. Could anyone share their experience?

Never mind: there is no usb flex cable for Z2 131-132. It is part of the cpu/gpu plate.

Hello,
I was thinking about using my LG G3 with MHL and OTG but i just found out that this device is using SlimPort and not MHL and from what I have seen its have only 5 pins and therefore its cant be used with an OTG cable at the same time (while the MHL port that support this feature has 11 pins) BUT when i looked into the micro usb port on the device with some light on it i saw that its a little dipper in the sides than it is in the middle and that in that dipper parts there is more pins SO I looked on port replacement pics and I saw that its have 11 pins that connects to the phone`s motherboard
so please if anyone can explain me what is those extra pins for and if there is any other cable that i can use?
Thanks in advance.
Anyone?
Hi,
I have a strange issue. But i do not find a solution now:
I have an integrated smartphone holder in the car - but it did not charge my xperia z1 compact. Cable and every thing is fine, other smart phones are charged well. Even in the usb plug in in the center console I can charge it (of course with a ugly cable in the car) but it dit not charge in the integrated smart phone holder, which seams to have a normal micro usb plug.
What is different with usb charging an the Z1 compact. In the compatibily list for the smartphone holder the xperia is not mentioned - so there should be a know "abnormal" behaviour with this?
I tried micro USB cable with 4 and 5 pins, but it is not charging.
I detached the data- and data+cables so only ground an power was applied - but no charging.
Does any one now a solution or an explanation?
Thanks a lot.
Nicolas
Have found the answer in the nexus 7 forum.... Just connect the data with each other on the male side of the cable.
Thanks
Nicolas

Can anyone please advise one?
I have purchased the OnePlus USB Type-C Adapter (Red) connector from Amaon
http://www.amazon.in/OnePlus-USB-Type-C-Adapter-Red/dp/B012D3THUU
What I understood was other connectors are not working for 1S (not sure though) but this one is working.

this cable work for moto z2 play?
Sure
The specifications on Lenovo's official site stated that it's USB2.0 only. I have tried to connect my Z2 Plus to an USB3.0 port, with a USB3.0 cable. usbview.exe always showed it's USB2.0 only. I don't know whether it's a hardware limit.
Short answer : No
Long answer : Hell no
It is a hardware thing
