I have submitted comment with my mi ID for the permission of my account for the unlocking of edl mode, but they dint give me permission. In fact today the thread is closed, and i m totally devastated. I m in a place where there is no mi service center, and i m wasting my days sticking to my laptop trying to fix it. Although i dint thot of opening a new thread but now i m obliged by my need of phone. PLEASE, i request any moderator to process my request and give me the permission . My MI ID is:: 1604067892

The only REQUEST i would like to ask are the following:
when your problem is SOLVED.. change the Name of the TOPIC .. for eg , when you ask " [Q]need help for rooting!!" when it is solved change it to "[SOLVED] need help for rooting?? read the coments .. it helped me " , this will be help ful in two ways.. the developers or the users who have knowledge on rooting wont have to read the thread n then realise while reading the coments that your problem was already solved.. it would save the time.. the second help will be if there is a new user surfing for ROOTING guide (and he/she doesnt know about the search bar above and dont know that there is a thread named [INDEX] ) then the user would be surfing on the first two page ATLEAST n if that users find your thread with the TOPIC "[SOLVED] need help for rooting?? read the coments .. it helped me " it would be helpful fr him/her.. and he/she eventually wont post about the same topic for help n wait for a reply..
NOTE:
There is nothing bad in being a NOOB.. i was a noob myself when i started rooting stuff.. i am still a noob in some maters about radio files .. n it isnt neccesary that the NEW user should know that there is something named [INDEX] in the general section .. so no mater what.. just try to change the topic when the problem is solved.
I have waited 14 days to unlock OEM but now i got a message lenovo id without permission!

That's not helping now
The Lenovo unlock server is offline. Nothing we can do about. See https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/P2-P2a42-Smartphones/Lenovo-p2-unlocking-bootloader/td-p/3642399/page/8 plenty of people with the same issue.

Hello guys,
I bricked my Redmi pro 5 3 days back due to Anti-Roll Back Mechanism.
I tried to latest flash firmware but it is asking for Mi Account Authorization which i dont have.
Then i went to MI Service center for help but they doesnt know anything about ARB and or EDL Authorization which is very poor from Mi .
Also they are asking me to change Battery, Motherboard .
I know i can bring back my beloved Whyred but i need your help with Mi Account Authorization.
If anyone has auhtorization, please kindly PM me so i can flash firmware . :fingers-crossed::highfive:

if you are authorized to unlock your phone (your account has that permission), are you authorized to flash EDL? is the same permission?

Im following on this too, I recently bricked my whyred too, I've tried all the versions of the mi flash tool and the one that seemed to be working was the 2018 version but then it logged into my mi account and informed me that I was not authorized.

As I had warranty I changed motherboard by service centre ( I just told them during updating my phone won't boot ) . I deleted all my old miui roms as if they are the culprits as I updated one room others are liable to ARB and brick again.
This is a very bad Xiaomi policy.

he ask for phone verification of huawei ID and i do not have that ..
