I bricked my Redmi pro 5 3 days back due to Anti-Roll Back Mechanism.
I tried to latest flash firmware but it is asking for Mi Account Authorization which i dont have.
Then i went to MI Service center for help but they doesnt know anything about ARB and or EDL Authorization which is very poor from Mi .
Also they are asking me to change Battery, Motherboard .
I know i can bring back my beloved Whyred but i need your help with Mi Account Authorization.
If anyone has auhtorization, please kindly PM me so i can flash firmware . :fingers-crossed::highfive:

if you are authorized to unlock your phone (your account has that permission), are you authorized to flash EDL? is the same permission?

Im following on this too, I recently bricked my whyred too, I've tried all the versions of the mi flash tool and the one that seemed to be working was the 2018 version but then it logged into my mi account and informed me that I was not authorized.
Same situation..

As I had warranty I changed motherboard by service centre ( I just told them during updating my phone won't boot ) . I deleted all my old miui roms as if they are the culprits as I updated one room others are liable to ARB and brick again.
This is a very bad Xiaomi policy.
the system is very very annoying ... xiaomi must fix this as soon as possible ... ...

Hi everyone.
I am new here and i have searched the whole net for answers and you are my last hope.
I have a Zenfone selfie ZD551KL (Z00UDB), bought from china in april 2016. When i got it it had firmware version CN_1.13.40.661.20151103.
But recently someone told me i could update it to CN_1.15.40.1548, so we did :crying: manually, and wow i regret that. Everything is working fine except for Google play and everything that depends on google services. I can see the old firmware in the boot menu. I tried to downgrade to previous version but didnt work.
My question is of course if I can fix this somehow or can i throw my beloved phone away ?
I have searched for days now to find a tutorial for Z00UDB but cant find any.
Bootload unlocked and phone rooted.
Please please please help me.

I have submitted comment with my mi ID for the permission of my account for the unlocking of edl mode, but they dint give me permission. In fact today the thread is closed, and i m totally devastated. I m in a place where there is no mi service center, and i m wasting my days sticking to my laptop trying to fix it. I need an authorized ID so I can flash a ROM via Mi Flash Tool. Could you please lend me yours? I would be so gladly happy if you can help me <3

he ask for phone verification of huawei ID and i do not have that ..
please can any one help is there methoud to remove that, , or no way to solve this ?

Did you try to check manually? I hadn't been notified of the may update but checked manually and it was there.
