MTCC Eonon Malaysk Rom Viper4Android issue

Hey all, Ive done a lot of reading/learning on these units. I have an Eonon Unit with 5.1 that I flashed a Malaysk Rom with all the goodies onto. The Rom is amazing, and made a big difference with everything on the Unit. One Issue I have not been able to solve is that v4a will process any audio from the Unit, except whatever comes out of the radio/tuner. I can tell the difference with BT/SdCard audio, etc, and the sound will adjust accordingly with the v4a EQ, but when I looks at the "Driver Status" when using the radio, under "processing" it says No. it would be nice to have the radio audio sound as good as the rest of the audio does with v4a. Im suspecting its just not possible since a radio tuner wasn't originally part of the 5.1 software . if thats just "the way it is" then I can live with it, I just cant understand why v4a processes everything else and not the radio. I couldn't find any info on this, so I decided to make a thread. If there is a discussion on this already, please link me there! thanks for any help.:good:

create own DAC profiles / or control via Viper4android

Is there a way to control the DAC via viper 4android, so that it amplifies the viper effects or the sound?
From what I've done by installing V4A as a magisk module, DAC works as usual and V4A on top, certainly, sounds better, but i thinks still has little bit quiet sound...
I still have the feeling that if I let run in parallel with viper that the viper sound sometimes a little bit steer? and I think that the profiles of the DAC do not quite harmonize with viper? So I thought, if there is a possibility, that you can turn the dac on and off, but tonal only steers over viper
I think the sound does not sound as clean and clear as on my z2. even without dac. actually the LG would have to sound much better than my z2. I'm a little bit mystified. I've already disabled the LG Equalizer, but has not brought any improvement with Viper4android
lol you guys are trying to fix something that isn't broken. in fact, you're trying to fix the most outstanding feature of this phone!
At least it would be nice if you could switch off the standart equalizer. because the profile is Normal, it does not mean at the same time that the equalizer is off. then I suspect that if I have viper installed, there are problems with the volume. that the lg and viper hinder each other and that's why such a bad sound arises, even if the dac is off
Do you unterstand at all how viper vs build-in DAC works?
The only way, afaik, for bypass the default EQ and filters is using USB audio player Pro, since pass bitperfect data to the DAC skipping any post process.
To be honest I don't know why you want to use viper, you only add a lot of junk to the sound, don't get me wrong but If you're not happy with the sound maybe you should buy better headphones.
is there anyone who can port Viper4android for the G7? I found out that some of the original sound files have to be changed or replaced. if it should sound neat and clean.
can someone tell me what the file is responsible for in the directory vendor / radio?
because I have now deleted this file and still the LGEqualizer apk and have the pure sound of tidal. and it sounds a lot better. I just wanted to know what the file in the radio folder is good for.

PX5 FM RADIO music quality

Hi guys,
I bought andoid car system Wondefoo with PX5 (octacore) + 4GB/32GB with DSP chip for Ford.
This radio was really expensive (300$+) and FM sound quality is quite terrible - normal player or PowerAMP sounds quite good, but on FM Radio app I missing equalizer or other ways, how to increase or modify sound quality.
Is any way, how to solve it (some better app, system equalizer etc..)??
Thanks for reply
there should be an equalizer that affects radio. it's usually called the "amp" app. try that

MTCE / Eonon GA9165A - Does it have DSP?

Hi All,
I have purchased used Eonon GA9165A. New to all of this.. I'm wondering if it has DSP as the sound quality is a bit on a low side.
Specs shows:
MTCE_WWW_V2.85d_1
PX5 Android 8.0, 4GB.
The interface shows 10 band equaliser. I would expect some additional sound settings like I have seen in some setups. Is this just a matter of software or the unit does not have DSP and I would need to do the mod?

RedMagic Bluetooth audio improvements

AptX HD is of course a godsend, but my car doesn't support it. I remember the time when mods like V4A did magic to crap hardware... Has anyone been able to get it to work? Or atmos?
I tried the magisk module, with audio modification library and all, froze the native audio effects process, selinux, etc. - not processing.
I did find a DD port that works but it's weak. Any advice on bluetooth mods?
