Android Pie false gamepad detection in games - Google Pixel 2 XL Questions & Answers

I have an issue with a game called Gear.Club on Android Pie and Pixel 2 XL. The game works fine on Android Oreo 8.1.
The issue is that with Android Pie, the game loads and detects a gamepad connected to my device and switches the control mode to game pad and disables tilt controls, but I don't have a gamepad connected. I've tried a factory reset, starting the game with bluetooth disabled, nothing seems to work. The only solution I've found is to revert my system back to Android 8.1.
Does anyone else have this issue?
The game was installed via the Google Play Store: "Gear.Club - True Racing", and the device is stock not rooted.

Same issue
I have the same problem. Can't seem to get it fixed. Have tried everything that you've done. No solution.

[Q] Android Auto makes phone lag hard

Since the last few AA updates have made Unlocking the phone easier for passengers, and drivers, I have noticed that my phone is damned near unusable in this state. This lagfest lasts for ~30-60 seconds after disconnecting the phone cable as well. Everything is fine in terms of Nav or Google Play Music streaming on the head unit, but trying to swipe notifications or scroll through Facebook/Twitter/Instagram is a hard no go. Anyone else experiencing this?
I have a stock, unrooted Pixel 2 XL running Android 8.1 and the March patch level. Android Auto v3.1 connected to a 2018 Acura TLX with the Technology Package.

Android Auto still working in Nexus 5x?

Suddenly android auto stopped working in car system. I connected and I don't see it in car.
Opel corsa intellilink. I had it only for this, always in car. I see android auto in phone screen but not in car screen.. Is there something changed in Google services probably, or something hardware problem in my phone? Does anyone install note 5x android auto in car screen and still working, and if yes, what rom are you using to try?
I installed many custom rooted roms after this, none worked in car screen..
In all my other newer phones android auto works fine in car.
Thanks.

Question Random System Crash When Connecting to an External Display

So I play a lot of games on my phone, whether it's an emulator, xCloud, Minecraft, or something else, I usually prefer to connect my device to my TV to more comfortably play. However recently I've been running into a bug on my OnePlus 9 Pro. (T-Mobile Version unfortunately). Here is where I'm at, every time I plug my phone into a TV, it freezes and crashes. Just like that. It worked for a while and then randomly stopped (I hadn't downloaded anything new or updated anything yet). I did download the newest firmware and still experienced the crash. I have switched the resolution, adjusted the frame rate, turned off Desktop Mode, and even did a factory reset. Still crashing at this point. Has anyone experienced this and figured out a cause or a fix? I am already on my second device from T-Mobile for this issue (exact same experience) so any help is appreciated.

Question Tasker and YouTube Music app

Hello , I just jumped to Pixel 6 Pro wagon and have some problem with control YouTube Music (YTM) with Takser.
Usually I use taasker to start playing YTM when connect to my car.. I use task with media Control action with Play [simulated only] action.
It stoped working on Pixel 6 PRO and still working on my old phone (one plus 9 Pro) .
Anyone use such combo (tasker and YTM) and can share you experience ?
Yep that is example how I get music to play in my car. I used the tasker recipe which detects my car connect, waits a few seconds then does the play and adjusts my volume to max. What I do find is that if I have restart my phone or updated YTM then the app isn't running in the background and as such won't respond to the play command. Basically I need to make sure that the app has been opened atleast once and I have played atleast 1 song, I can then close it and swipe it from recents but will still popup with the tasker command.
i have exactly the same problem. At Google Pixel 2 with Android 12 there is no such problem, everything works fine. At pixel 4, the media button does not work.

I'm assuming you mean Android 11 on the Pixel 2. Or you mean Android 12 on the Pixel 3.
No, I mean Android 12 on pixel 2 (pixel experience mod)
