Anyone else having issues of randomly not being able to make calls? It happens almost daily where it either hangs up instantly or says no network.
Had no issues with DPs.

At first this started a few weeks ago. I was on LOS then. Now I've switched different roms and they all got same problem. My mic will stop working after random time. It works normally after reboot but then it just stop working. First noticed this on the calls as I couldn't here anything and neither the other one who called me.
Tried to record voice message on whatsapp and the record was full of silence. Same thing on the video recording. No voice, but works normally after reboot.
So what could cause this as its not rom related. I've tried LOS and now I'm on OOS and the problem remains. And I think it's not a physical issue as it works right after reboot. I'm confused here.
I'm on 4.1.6 firmware and currently on Latest OOS with Bova launcher. No exposed or any other tricks. Same problem with latest Los.
My Pixel XL stops ringing randomly despite not being on silent mode. The only thing that resolved it is a restart.
Is it defective? Is anyone else here having the same problem?
Same issue for several weeks now (Pixel XL). After restart it will ring for incoming calls for a random number of hours/days, then I have to restart again. No resolution that I have found.

thinking im having the same issue though i thought it was related to me connecting to android wear?? are you guys connected to android wear or another bluetooth device at all?

Ever since I believe around the 3rd Android 9 beta update, pandora kept crashing on my Android Auto. I was hoping the full "street" version of 9 released yesterday would resolve this but it didnt. I also noticed the screen on my car blacking out at times and then coming back on during android auto. The problem is I can go a song or two on pandora and then it stops and says pandora inaccessible on the screen and then a new song starts playing. Sometimes, it will cut off 3 songs in a row within the first minute of each song. Its really frustrating and I cant tell if its a pandora thing or android auto thing. Used to think it was a beta thing but thats clearly not it anymore.
I do keep my phone in my cupholder area and was wondering if when the proximity or light sensor gets changed in there, would that affect anything? It didnt before, Im just wondering if theres any new settings that could be making that change.
My original pixel xl did that on the betas but I replaced that phone with a pixel 2 xl over the weekend and I haven't noticed it happening with the new phone.

I even tried turning off battery management in the app and lowering the audio quality like I read in a couple other places but neither worked. Its still crapping out and then starting a new song.
Just saw an update from AA so hopefully that works. Ill report back.
I use a Pixel 3a XL with the latest OS (just updated yesterday.)
OS version: bonito-rp1a.201105.002
I use Magisk latest, installed over this version.
This started happening after upgrading to Android 11.
Whenever I call a person, there is a 50-50% chance that the interface relaunches. It's not a full reboot. I see the "G" symbol, and the loading bar below it.
Then after like 5-10 seconds, the interface reloads and I can make that call.
It's not THAT annoying, but annoying regardless.
Does anyone have a clue what might cause this?
So again:
- Android 11 latest for Pixel 3a XL
- Magisk rooted
- Using Call Recorder skvalex module Magisk (latest)
- Nova Launcher
I would venture a guess since no one else seems to be having these issues that your call recorder mod might be the cause. try disablimg it and see if the issue presists.
I had this same issue same module installed. Did a fresh os install and haven't had it happen again yet.

Same here, no solution so far.
It is normal behaviour for Beta, even in 11 beta I had similar problems. It might be related to wallpaper as it always revert to original release wallpaper, but who knows.
So it is normal, let's wait for Beta 2
