How to root Redmi 1s MIUI 7.2.3.0 stable

Hi Team,
I have recently updated my Redmi 1s to MIUI 7.2.3.0 however my phone lost its root access.
Could you please help me out to root my redmi 1s.

Just install twrp recovery and flash the supersu.zip or you can download the supersu app from playstore.

Note 4 snapdragon

Now that my retail note 4 is converted to dev edition ... I have a note 4 snapdragon does that mean I can go in the note 4 snapdragon forum and check ROMs from there to install?

You should able to flash any ROM compatible with your hardware and carrier.
Did you install the custom recovery?

Yes TWRP is installed I already have a ROM currently running just wasn't sure ... Thanks

Let me know if you have successfully flashed any of the roms from other carriers

I saw someone post there was a ported T-Mobile ROM for the note 4 but the directions seemed ... Wacky I've only stuck with Verizon since I have Verizon. Going to flash a new ROM TONIGHT

try do download an 6.0.1 update on your pc, copy it to internal memory(not in a folder), and wait until your phone says that he found an update on local storage

Xposed framework on miui8

I hav been trying to install xposed bt it always gives me an error
Moreover there is no uninstller zip file for 4.4.4
How do i do it ... Any idea guys ???

Our beloved redmi 1s still using 4.4.4 in MIUI 7 and the newest MIUI 8,
I think there is no need flash on Recovery ...
I cant help you more but

Mi max 3 bootloop after lazy flasher

Everytime i instal lazy flasher my phone got stock in bootloop, i use mi max 3, oficial 8.1 rom miui X, oficial twrp and so on.... Please buddies help me!!!!
