You should able to flash any ROM compatible with your hardware and carrier.
Did you install the custom recovery?
Yes TWRP is installed I already have a ROM currently running just wasn't sure ... Thanks
Let me know if you have successfully flashed any of the roms from other carriers

I saw someone post there was a ported T-Mobile ROM for the note 4 but the directions seemed ... Wacky I've only stuck with Verizon since I have Verizon. Going to flash a new ROM TONIGHT

Thanks.
But if not, how somebody flashed note 8 custom rommon note 10.1 and note 2 devices?

Usually, when this is possible, it requires a dev to make a kit up to make ROMs flashable on another device. And therein lies the issue. Unfortunately, there isn't much development going on here in the note 8 forums at this time. If you want to run a custom stock ROM, I recommend the ROM in my signature as it is very stable or just run stock rooted and tweak it yourself. If you want an AOSP ROM, there are a couple available but they aren't very stable yet. Besides, I just don't see the point in AOSP on the note, as you loose a lot of note stylus features.

Hello, I bought a Note 2 from Wind and I would like to install a rom but I can't find a section for my SGH-T889V model. Is there a US variant to the SGH-T889V? Sorry, I'm noob. I am just wondering if I flashed a rom meant for the N7105 on my Wind note 2, will it be bricked? Thanks.
You could use the roms in the t-mobile note 2 section. The only thing you have to pay attention to is that after you flash a rom there, make sure you flash the right modem for your variant.

Yes we can...flash the international rom,a t-mobile kernel and wifi fix...and make sure you read the threads carefully as some of them will wipe your internal storage but there's also a way around that.

It is for DEVELOPERS EDITION ONLY.....not retail version. Retail version has a LOCKED BOOTLOADER ....Developers Edition does not.

Do we not have the sm n910v ? That's the one that's listed
Do you have a Developers Edition bought straight from Samsung? If not it will not work. It will brick the phone or just not work / complete.

Not necessarily, it will simply fail, chances of getting a brick are same as with dev version
It doesn't brick the retail editon. It doesn't even make it past the flags to install, unlike the DE that flashes fine.
It should specify DEV edition VZW, that way people won't get excited, I downloaded the SM-N910V because it didn't say anything about the zip being for the dev edition, but it is.
