Hello guys...miui 8 developer ROM is gng to release 17 June ..I found this link on fb groups , just sharing here....
But it's still kitkat

Flash guide
1) Download the files in the links provided correctly
2) wipe cache,davlik,system,data
3) don't flash ROM ,just reboot to recovery mode again
4) then flash ROM
5) Flash SuperSU (latest)
6) reboot system, that's it u have done

Well.. Sad that it's still on Kitkat. But what difference does it really make if it is based on LP or MM? All ROM features are already present.

1s- Download the files in the links provided correctly

Clean flash ROM u will not face any problems

There’s one feature that I miss from my Redmi Note 3 Pro, and that’s reading mode. Also, apps such as f.lux don’t work with KitKat. The only workaround I found is an old version of CF lumen.
I also think that new features such as cloned apps and second space don’t work. But I’m not very interested in them.

In performance/battery issues or improvements with miui 8 on redmi 1s??? Guys please share your stats if possible who have tried this rom thanks in advance

Volte is also not there and the rom is too much buggy so someone need to maintain it

What twrp or kernel do you use to install it? I flashed it with latest twrp but no signal at all :/

If it is the same ROM that I have, you must press the power button twice and the mobile signal works again after a screen refresh.

I tried that as well but it did not work , i dirty flashed an other kernel it fixed wifi signal but not sim card

I guess need to install official 5.1 stock rom first then flash this rom to make it work

Unable to boot.

While rebooting shows no os installed on twrp after wiping data also its goes to continues boot screen

Status bar looks tall, looks like a port from a xiaomi device with notch

It not a fake. got from telegram group. not a official rom. cutom rom.

I made usual wipes flash the rom flash latest magisk and then wipe data and reboot

Theme is not working well cant change wallpaper onnlockscreen bit I was on the ROM forma half hour iy semms to work well

The ROM is not for redmi note 5 pro. Well i guess you tried to port it from Mi 8 lite. But failed as little knowledge is always dangerous.

You should be able to use the same technique as OxygenOS as long as Color OS uses a payload.bin file.
Extract the rom zip and check if there's a payload.bin file within, if there is then follow my guide here.

I managed to install it, but it got stuck on the logo. And I ended up harming myself because I don't have a computer to fix the device.

I cleaned the rom so that it fit in the device's memory. It worked, the rom installed. However, it didn't boot. It could have been the kernel, but I can't say.

Download the zip and delete a few files from apps and priv-apps (Like camera) all the not needed apps and you will have a cleaned ROM. I did it, it installed but did not boot. Maybe a kernel issue or maybe art
