[Q] Someone to help how to Install

Hey friends i have this file (gapps-jb-4.2.2-Small-Oct-09) (see above) and i can't flash it with Team Win Recovery.Can anyone please give me full directions on how to flash it!THANKS IN ADVANCE :silly::good:

Which TWRP version do you use? Which rom / android version do you use? What error is shown up in TWRP? Did you try downloading the file again, may be its corrupted?

Error;I flash the zip and when i reboot my phone keyboard don't open or i says setupwizard stopped!
I Just want the full steps before the flashing and after until the apps start working! (PRESS THANKS AND I REQUITE

which cm10.1? Do you use int2ext script? The gapps are fine, BUT not compatible to the rom. Manual solution is uninstalling all keaybord + dictionary apps and install any other keyboard app manually Or use compatible gapps.

Did you flash any zip files called int2ext? Probably not because theyre not compatible to twrp. I'll check it out.

I want to flash this file i saw you at the start because it's lite file and i want to ask if i flash RC3 i will lose all files and must start from the beggining?If yes why i can't flash my file from the beggining of the thread at rc2?

I have no clue about it. Most gapps like to crash on marvel with cm10.1 , thats why i used the gapps provided by the dev of the rom. I just flashed RC3 + gapps = works without errors.
You really should perform a FULL WIPE before flashing the new rom if your actual system has errors.

FULL WIPE --> flash rom --> flash gapps --> reboot and feel happy

My friend i did what you say except i didn't flash RC3 and everything works perfectly thanks a lot!!!!

MIUI V6 has been realesed and with kitkat in our phones is it possible to build?

I know!! but it had a lot of bugs!!

MIUI V6 is currently in closed beta and will be public in a few weeks I hope. Looks great I think. But some Chinese guy already said that he will port it when it comes out to the public.

You could actually do what i do now. Install B508 than MIUI V5 and a MIUI 6 theme, there are some really good ones

Okay since I dont know on which ROM you are currently I must guess a little bit backup all your stuff first! Important also the stuff from the internal storage!
1. Download stock recovery and boot.img from the TWRP thread.
2. Download B508 from the Chinese Huawei site.
3. Put the update.app from B508 on your sd card.
4. Flash the stock recovery and boot.img.
5. Reboot to recovery with 3 buttons method.
6. After flash complete do a Factory reset with stock recovery because my system partition was to small and this fix that.
7. Install TWRP again and flash MIUI and gapps for KK.
8. You are finish!
One thing to notice that we have problem in the moment that data always turns off. But we are searching for a solution in MIUI thread

same as cm11 , you can use twrp abd cwm recovery , and kernel is inluded inside the zip

@afi1982 to fix the rotation issue you could try to flash the kitkat modems modified for aosp based roms since they fix rotation issues.

there is no miui 6 port just yet and i don't think that miui v5 is ugly.

I didn't tried it because I have the D802 and not the D800, but since your MIUI is 4.4.4 I think that you based it on Cyanogenmod or any AOSP based aftermarket rom so you have to flash the aosp modified modem. You can download it here:

The 4.4.4 rom that he used as base is using the old devicetree/kernel sourcecode. dr87 means that if the rom is using old LG sourcecode that you then need to flash those modems. So he wasn't talking about the Android OS sourcecode.
Some Roms like this one where Afi based Miui on is using LG's Android 4.2 sourcecode but newer roms are using the sourcecode from LG's android 4.4.2

Have you install the special TWRP for Android 6 and the WileyfoxOEM.img ?
Note the following bugs
1-video recording camera does not work
2- inaccessible sensors (light, akselerometer etc.)
and if you root it then there is an error on percentage of battery charge

Lol I did try what they said on the 4PDA but the WileyfoxOEM and TWRP had no download links so I downloaded it from @FindYanot ftp server and it still failed. I think I will wait for CM13.

Tried to flash but no SIM card.
Downgraded to CM12.1 nighty with CM recovery. Got the update message. Downloaded /flashed / but stuck in bootloops.
Reverted to CM13 Teamashek

Did you do a full wipe or did you do just upgrade? Made that makes a difference.

I managed to install it, but it got stuck on the logo. And I ended up harming myself because I don't have a computer to fix the device.

I cleaned the rom so that it fit in the device's memory. It worked, the rom installed. However, it didn't boot. It could have been the kernel, but I can't say.

Download the zip and delete a few files from apps and priv-apps (Like camera) all the not needed apps and you will have a cleaned ROM. I did it, it installed but did not boot. Maybe a kernel issue or maybe art
