RADIO - HTC One X

I'm in a situation...I have the htc one x tegra 3 xe edition. I am on 5.17 baseband but tried the ruu on Androidruu.com site. Tried flashing the ruu. Wouldn't flash. My situation is this...I put in a sim card and device won't see it. I can factory reset it, it works for a minute, then stops. Are there any ways I can flash maybe a radio and or modem? I'm supercid, s off unlocked bootloader and new layout twrp.

Also...will supercid11111111 prevent an ruu from installing? If so, I need my original cid for the htc one x endeavoru xe

If you have unlocked via HTCDev the this would have removed your CID in which case yes you should be able to flash the WWE RUU on a branded device.
If you have not unlocked and are still running stock then no it wont work.
Does HTCDev unlock remove CID? Unless it changed to 11111111 you still won't be able to flash an RUU AFAIK

It does indeed. It doesn't change it to 1111111 it completely removes it altogether.
I re locked the bootloader the other day and re-flashed the WWE RUU as im sending it back (screen flickering problem) and it worked with no issues.
Vodafone Australia
I am Vodafone Australia and unlocked my phone via HTCdev. I am also facing the same problem (screen flickering)and need to send it back. I have re-locked it. As you just said "I re locked the bootloader the other day and re-flashed the WWE RUU as im sending it back" can you please explain how did you re-flash the WWE RUU? steps or link?

You need to get the vodafone au ruu. General wwe releases will not work for you. Pretty sure the correct ruu is available in the dev section.
Can't link, posting from phone.

Stock RUU for 1.28 needed
Hi there
I have effectively killed my HTC one - I unlocked via htcdev and upgraded the recovery - fastboot shows the device id when running the command fastboot devices.
However I am now stuck in a boot loop where the phone only boots to hboot (following a failed boot.img flash) I have downgraded back to stock recovery and re locked but cant find the 1.28 RUU to recover the device (and I did try the RUU for 1.26 but it wouldnt install)
Once I updated te recovery i ran the fastboot boot boot.img command
This failed to progress past the 'htc quietly brilliant' flash screen.
I dont have the rom .zip saved on my internal memory on the phone - I was hoping to be able to push it to the /data/ partition however when I try this sdb returns no connected device.
Wonder if anyone can assist in either
a - returning to stock with a RUU for 1.28
or
b - advise how to flash the files I need onto the phone (it seems that the ROM isnt booting so I assume its from the point I install boot.img and beyond I need so help)
Unfortunately I cant get the phone to boot to copy files to the memory so need to work entirely in fastboot and adb (assuming adb wil recognise the handset)
Many thanks
Gurry

But relocking it puts it back so unless you were on HTC__001 you'd be back on the VODAP001 CID

Desiree Brick

My Desire doesn't start anymore. I get a white screen with HTC on it. When I press power+vol down I get the fast boots mode. I cleared all user data, rebooted.... nothing.
The fastboot screen shows:
Bravo PVT1 ship S-ON
Hboot 0.93.0001
Microp-031p
Radio 5.11.05.27
I tried different RUU's but they all being blocked by the bootloader. Downgrading to a lower bootloader failed. I'm stuck and out of options.
I hope someone can help me here.
Cheers.

2.29.405 WWE should be fine if not branded, if it is branded you need a goldcard ro be made

I tried that RUU but for some reason it doesn't connect via USB when I'm on fast boot. Other RUU installers are working but abort after a message that tells me that the bootloader is newer

Try 2.3 RUU that can be found on htc dev site, it's compatible with 0.93 hboot.
Plus you need to have htc sync installed on your PC or at least drivers for fastboot.

Thanks for the tip. This RUU was able to fix my phone!

Stuck on Ruu mode.

Hi guys, sorry for creating a new thread but I'm a confused noob. Basically I was running mildwild Rom cm and hboot cm7r2 hboot and wanted to revert back to fully stock and unroot. So I decided to run a unbranded ruu (RUU_Bravo_HTC_WWE_1.21.405.2_Radio_32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.02_2_release_126984_signed.exe)
From shipped roms.com but an error came up and now I'm stuck on ruu mode. (black screen with HTC logo and 4 triangles). So my question is did I run the wrong ruu and which one do I flash. I'm locked on the three network so am I branded or unbranded? Please help.

Bortak's troubleshooting guide, stickied to the top of Q&A, has dealt with this exact issue numerous times, turns out luckily you're not the first person to experience this All you had to do was google "HTC Desire 4 triangles"...
Bascially you needed to run the downgrader first, as you still have cm7r2 hboot. It does not get overwritten by an RUU. You are trying to fit a large system size RUU into a system which is only 145MB big. It doesn't fit, hence it won't boot. Recommend to run the 2.3.3 RUU

How can I flash an official RUU?

I download the official ruu from htc official website
I relocked my htc m8, and reboot to bootloader, run this exe, but it cause an error with code 155. btw, my htc model number is m8w exactly.
Thanks for any reply.
Did you verify the bootloader screen says RELOCKED?
Also, it appears that M8_w is either Sprint or Verizon. If you tried an RUU for another version, it will fail with the wrong CID and MID.
You can not flash an RUU for another version if you have the Sprint or Verizon versions (brick risk, even if you s-off and change CID and MID).

HTC One X Endeavoru XE Questions

Hey everyone, my friend gave me her HTC One X Endeavoru XE variant, judging from what I've been reading, this looks to be a test device from HTC. I was just wondering if anything is different for this specific device? RUU, Bootloader, Radio versions, etc.
The phone came with S-Off, but I've also managed to unlock the bootloader as well, would my next step be to flash a recovery image? Do I need to update anything to flash Sense 5 based ROMs?
Thanks all!
