After yesterday's update to lineage on my tmobile Samsung s5, it seems the predictive apps stopped working and i can't get it to come back. Anyone else having the same issue?

Is it possible to install? When I install, it crashes after I run it. Is LineageOS 14.1 incompatible? S8 TouchWiz requires Android 7.0 and above and I run 7.1.2 on my phone.

I have an old phone that i want to install lineageos for testing before i install it on my newer phone,
but i can't find the rom for my samsung galaxy s2 sgh-i727r on https://download.lineageos.org/
i only see s2 (intl)
i thought lineageOS was like linux where you can install it on old computers
what happens if i install the i9100 version
am i out of luck?

I don't have this device but, unfortunately, the Official LineageOS for the SGH-I727R (skyrocket) has been discontinued.
Fortunately, the following thread is from an Unofficial LineageOS Developer who had Unified the Skyrocket device into their Celox development and is for your device.

thanks for the link! i finally got around to trying it, and it worked! i am running his stock on my phone, works great and my phone is super fast!
im not too surprised its fast, its almost as the cellphone companies dont give you updates in order to force you to buy a new phone

You won't have to worry about any Stock Firmware updates for this device since it's way past the EOL date.
The GS4 had even just past its EOL date as well...

Hi guys,
I recently had a bootloop problem with CM13 on redmi note 3 pro kenzo, after whcih I upgraded to LOS 14, the official rom on the website and flashed it along with gapps using twrp.
Now the fingerprint scanner, which worked fine on CM13, does not work on LOS14.
It doesn't even make the small gesture vibrations when I put my finger against it.
I restored the last version of CM13 and it still works on it.
What can I do to solve this problem?
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks for your quick reply. I managed to get it working now
The problem was when I installed CM13, I also did a firmware update, which was the culprit.
Now when I installed LOS14 I had to re-flash the latest firmware, in the link you posted.
I downloaded the firmware and flashed it with TWRP.
I have another issue though, in CM13 the fingerprint sensor would cover all of my fingertip's angles and now it seems that I have to hold it somewhat more 'parallel' to the sensor or else it won't get it. I did try rotating the finger a bit while setting it up but CM13 seemed more rubust. Any ideas?

Never mind its working correctly now. I just re-did the fingerprint thing and it's working great.
can't get my fingerprint to work on LOS 17.1, it's like it's there, but it doesn't react to anything. When I go to the fingerprint settings, it ask me to touch it in order to setup the thing, but when I place my finger on it, it does nothing. Did anyone ever heard of this issue or any fix for it? Thanks in advance.
Running recent build of 14.1 on a LG V20 US996 model.
Doesn't seem to recognize a USB OTG drive at all. Clearly this isn't a hardware issue as TWRP recognizes it fine, but it's a royal PITA to have to keep rebooting to recovery whenever I want to copy files from/to a USB drive.
Since USB OTG seems to work on other devices running LOS 14.1, is this just a matter of the maintainer of the build for my phone not including support for it for some reason?

Hi Guys! I have a Samsung S5 sport that I recently dirty flashed to the 14.1-20180803-NIGHTLY-kltesprsports build. Now my battery does not go beyond 65% no matter how long I leave my phone plugged in. I have tested different cables and adapters, and still the same thing. I never had this issue with the 20180720 build. Any thoughts?
