G4 battery in Europe

Anyone satisfied with a G4 battery purchase in Europe?
Been reading the battery threads here in xda, seems you can get some good batteries but only in the US.
Getting a non fake battery is not as easy as it seems, so, is there anyone who got a good battery (via e-shopping, eBay preferably) in Europe? By good I mean either true original or performing at least like the stock one.

Yes, your thread is well known, but there's one more thing I should have mentioned: I have the black leather back which I love and don't want to change.
So that rules out most of the batteries in that thread since they need custom covers.
The few that are labeled slim do not ship to Europe (links from the 1st post, don't know if there's more links later in the thread which is quite big)

Hmm sad they don't ship there. How much you think it'd cost to ship?

A few cases I've seen with batteries that are already available in both Europe and US (mostly fake ones typically marked as original in bulk form) the shipping varies from $10 onwards.
Maybe I would pay that shipping cost for a battery like the TQTHL for which many say is very good, but the problem is noone ships to Europe.

Wow thanks man, but what if the battery is problematic or something? I mean, I would have to send it back to you, effectively paying shipping back and forth, which would probably cost me more than the battery itself, and that is IF you would invest the time in such a situation.
For now I just thank you for your gesture. I will search a bit more, and if I find nothing promising maybe I'll ask you if you would still do it. In any case thank you!

Yes it seems so (as one reviewer also says), but reviews after some time after purchase would be good. The net is full of 'original' batteries and people reviewing them the day they bought them, yet I still strive to find a battery I won't be returning as totally useless even for other phones of mine.
I am starting to think it's some kind of worldwide quality cells shortage ?

Try Polarcell battery on ebay.de from Wannsee-Electronic GmbH !
Using it for 3 months getting maybe 10% more juice from it .

That's a good I idea cause I seem to get 2HRs more of SOT with my default batteries.

I got mine from https://batterionline.no/batteri-til-bl-a-lg-g4-originalt
They have 12 moths guarantee and insurance for malfunctioning batteries (they actually takes responsibility if your device is broken from one of their batteries)
Might be Norway only tho

It's not the origin, it's the destination. What good is a battery that the seller won't ship to the potential buyer's country?

Questions about the Uk Variant.

Ok i'm planning on getting a uk p2 with 3 and i need a few questions answered.
I would ask 3 support but you need to get a phone with them before you can ask for help.
1. Does it have warranty?
2.how long is the SoT?
3.does it come with a screen protector?
4.does it have earphones and if yes are they the rounded ones or the ergonomicish ones that samsung does
5.does it have nougat yet
6.Is it unlocked to all carriers

Of course it has warranty. I believe 1 year.
SOT varies. There is another thread with everyone's SOT.
No screen protector.
No earphones.
No official OTA for nougat but you can install the official Lenovo one.
Yes it's completely unlocked to all carriers.
I almost went for a Note 4 (had a Note 3) but the much bigger battery and better fingerprint scanner tipped the balance for me.

Yes this really has me annoyed as the note 4 has s-pen, q-hd,and more features but the p2 has newer Soc, more battery, nougat,more fluid performance.
Hmmm... I'll have to go with the p2 as the only con of it is the average camera

Don't forget the P2 also has 4GB ram Vs 3GB in the Note 3/4.
The camera actually with normal day to use is pretty good. Was at a garden party yesterday and managed to get some really nice pictures. It's no worse than my Note 3 but no better.
If I want really high quality pictures I take my DSLR out with me!

Also my dad has a three phone how do I get the phone without top up just show that I have a three phone. Thanx for help guys

Mine definitely didn't have any headphones.
I also have a SIM only plan with three and didn't have to buy a topup. Just provided my details and ID and they discounted it off.

Deffo no headphones. Three stores will ask for your name and address and 3 number. I just opened up my account on my phone showing number and name.

I currently have the mate 20 pro and it has the green screen issue. So... Sadly I'm sending it back, I was going to swap it for another though amazon advised me not to. They also refunded the accessories I purchased which supprised me. I now don't know whether to try to import a mate 20 X or settle for the 6t. I would be grateful if anyone with the 20x could help me decide and answer a few questions?
I haven't seen any threads about it. But has anyone had any issues with the screen?
I've read some people have had problems with the Chinese version, when looking at adverts how do I make sure the phone I'm buying is the international version? Most don't say they just give the model number.
Is there an 8gb/256 version of the international model? Does enyone have an ebay link for where I could get it sent to the UK?
Does anyone have any reasons why I shouldn't consider getting this phone?

I don't have the phone (at least yet) but i'm following closely all threads because i'm very interested too and i never see anyone complaining about the gluegate, even a reviewer frankytech thinks its only targeting pro series because of the curved screen.
If you want to buy international version you need to check if the model is named EVR-L29, china model is AL00. There's no international model atm in 256/8GB variant. About sellers to the international, there's splendor, wonda, funkyhuawei, expansys and ebay. Probably more but i forgot.

Would you recommend the Chinese model?
Is it easy to add the play store? Are there any issues with Google services? e.g. Google pay? As I use that a lot.
I bought an xaomi tablet and that took a lot of effort to get Google app store and services working properly.
Also I was wondering does face unlock work OK on this phone? I know it doesn't have the 3d scanner.

I originally purchased from amazon UK they said they were not offering replacements of the mate 20 pro now and a refund was my only option.

I came from a OnePlus 6. Definitely get the 20 X if you like large screen phones. The X uses a Samsung AMOLED panel and is free of defects. I would buy the Global version if root isn't important to you. If it is then buy the Chinese version. I bought the Global version and have no issues with it. The 6gb/128 Global version is plenty fast. You won't see any difference between the 6gb and 8gb versions as far as speed or apps in memory goes, it's all pretty much a gimmick unless you're buying the 256gb/8gb version just for the storage size.

The storage was the main reason I ended up going for the Chinese version.
I'm worried about Google pay not working on Chinese phones but I'm hoping the rest will end up working OK.
Hopefully someone will work out how to rebrand it so I can have the best of both worlds.

Please let me know how it works out, the 20X is my next phone just trying to decide which one I want. The China version is like $200 cheaper than the International one or the same price for the 8 gig versus the 6gig international version.

I have the China 8/256 version. And although I was worried about getting it once I changed the language, keyboard, got Google play to work it's a great phone.. my wife is laughing at me saying it's too big but personally I love it. It's fast and smooth and the screen is amazing.

I've not tried Google pay yet. I was able to add my credit card but not my bank card strangely. I will try Google pay tomorrow and let you know.

Don't buy cases. They sent me one that wasn't in the photo and expected me to ship it back to them at my cost overseas...

I bought 5-6 phones last 3 years and tons of covers and lots of, lots of other things.
Aliexpress is a place with lots of shops, most shops are fine, few not so good.
Its like every other places in the world, good and bad shops... Most good I will give it 9 out of 10 stars.
I really love aliexpress, im in and looking nearly every day [emoji4]

I haven't bought anything else from them in like 2 years now. I'm in the states and they are overseas. Returns will be a problem. You could be 2/3 months down the road trying to solve a return issue

Yes, you can buy via Aliexpress but choose the official store with high rating. Or you can buy from Gearbest, cheaper price, big promotion and better service. I prefer the Gearbest to buy more expensive stuffs and Aliexpress for cheaper stuffs.

Photo, phone quality, features.
Battery life is good, I have the Snapdragon.
You won't regret at this price.

Absolutely worth it at that price. I have the CDN version (G981W, snapdragon) and got it for $1650 CAD and love it, just wish I didn't have to pay so much for it.

It's bootloader locked ATM , so no cfw ... unfortunate but it is still a wicked phone
Even using Dex @ work I barely reach 10g ram usage. Dex alone was a selling feature for me. And it's actually usable now, compared to when it launched back on the s8

I recently switched from my iPhone XS Max and completely happy with this phone. No buyers remorse in any way.

The Snapdragon model doesn't have any custom rom support does it?

Don't bother with tempered glass screen protectors unless you want to go with a Whitestone dome, the cheap ones are trash.
As for roms, there are none other than a GSI . And you need to have a non-NA snapdragon model that is bootloader unlockable.
Personally I don't miss root ..a few things, sure, but not enough to make me regret picking up this device

Ive decided im gonna go to the Samsung shop this week and buy the S20+
I know they are like £899, but I can have some peace of mind it's genuine, it will arrive and I can get it quickly.
