List of devices attached

Try flashing the rom with TWRP from an USB pendrive using an OTG adapter.

Hi , i made one mistake now am stuck, whilst rooting i went to flash the zip file in recovery and noticed the put the folder of it instead of the actual zip file.so obviously its not working. how do i access internal storage , mount usb isnt workin in team recovery, and its stuck in loop if try to power on tablet. any ideas am fumin whats point of havin mount when it doesnt work ????
Make sure recovery it ok. if not re-flash TWRP via fastboot again.
so if u can boot in TWRP use install by sideload (TWRP->Advance->ADB Sideload) via PC and USB Cable
attach USB Cable and make sure you Windows was detect device as ADB mode.
open cmd use command "adb sideload path-to-working-image-file.zip"
good luck

Hi,
my device: Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 p5200
I wanted to flash CyanogenMod 12.1. First I have used Odin to install TWRP (I can still get into custom recovery).
After that, I wiped the Dalvik Cache, System and Cache but now the device only show the Samsung logo. I have tried to use adb sideload to flash the rom. In the cmd window I get the following error when I use " adb devices" or adb sideload xxx.zip":
adb server is out of date. killing...
ADB server didn't ACK
*failed to start daemon*
error: unkown host service
I don't have any files on the devices to flash. I still have to copy the rom and so on onto the device.
What Can I do to flash the custom rom and get my device worling again?
I have installed a stock rom with Odin. Now I have another problem. When I connect the device with the pc the device is stucked in a boot loop. It goes on and off.
After disconnecting from a charging cable the device dies immedietly.
Edit: I can't get into the Odin mode to use Odin again
Now I get into the download. THe problem was the device was low on battery and I had to use a charger with 3-4A output.
After tryying over 6 stock roms I have one that worls now.
Hey guys i'm in serious trouble with my phone.
It stucks on boot screen and does nothing.
I can boot into TWRP, but i deleted the LineageOS.zip from sdcard to save space. When running TWRP, i can't see the phone in my adb prompt. I can see my phone when adb sideload is running. I tried to use adb sideload, but it fails with something like 'the zip your are trying to install is for zl0,zl1...but your device is .'
I need some way to push the LineageOS rom to sdcard without adb connection available. There is an option in TWRP to mount an USB Device, would it make sense to buy a little USB type C stick ?
I apprechiate any kind of help !
1. Check is the phone in TWRP avaiable in Windows file manager. It should be.
2. If not go in TWRP to sideload and try to "adb push FILE-IN-WINDOWS FOLDER-IN-PHONE" eq "adb push rom.zip /sdcard/0/" (if your ROM is with name "rom" in ADB file).
3. If not try to wipe all exclude OTG.
4. If not try to push trough OTG (if you have OTG then do it firstly).

Unfortunately the phone isn't visible in Windows, neither in TWRP nor Sideload. I tried to push in sideload, but that doesn't work (adb: error: connect failed: closed). TWRP FAQ says that there are no adb commands available in sideload.
I just ordered an OTG stick. Let's hope i can mount him in TWRP.
Anybody other suggestions ?
Try adb commands in fastboot... ? Doesn't have to be visible with device-info

Okay so if you already have Twrp installed that's Great. that's your recovery, don't lose it. Be in the habit of rebooting to Twrp whenever you flash something.
The only way to resolve this issue is to format the storage.
You have an easy options.
Buy the OTG adapter...Yes get it, it will make flashing ten times faster and alot easier to quickly flash a file if you find yourself in a bootloop.
The OTG Adapter will cost about $5
You should also buy a 32 usb 3.0 drive. I bought my 3.0 usb at Walmart for $12..
After formatting the sd storage> Click select storage > choose USB drive> add your ROM> click add more zips > add Gapps, and Magisk > Flash.
Reboot to recovery> make sure to check boxes for TWRP installation recovery and system app.
Once reboot to recovery > click "select storage"
Click Wipe > select Advanced Wipe> select Cache ( only cache) > Slide to wipe
Reboot to system > Done.
First boot could take several minutes
Hi guys!
After years playing around with android roms and devices it looks that i probably brick a device for first time.
I'll try to be brief, but if you need more info it will be a pleasure give it to you.
Now my MI6 have recovery cofface 3.1.1.-0 installed but no os. I can reboot on bootload with keys. The problem is that im unable to push a zip into the device. Commands "adb devices" and "fastboot devices" return no devices founded.
a) OTG: Recovery doesnt allow me to mount USB-OTG. I enter in Mount and when i click over USB-OTG it highlighted but the checkbox still empty.
b)Plug into pc: The phone appears and disappears each second. Tried multiples wires.
Udev not found warning shows up when I click in the device before it disappears.
c) ADB sideload: not working, cause i cant reach MI6 from PC.
I add some stuff i see in logs and could be interesting:
When i use sideload:
Code:
I: cannot find file /sys/class/android_usb/android0/idProduct
I: cannot find file /sys/class/android_usb/android0/idVendor
When is in appear/disappear loop:
Code:
I:[MTP]Mtpserver::run fd: 20
E:[MTP] request read returned -1, errno: 5 , exiting MtpServer::run loop
I tried to recover it from Windows and Linux even from FWUL liveiso but all same results.
Any idea is appreciated, thanks a lot!
PD: Excuse my English Besides not having a good level, I'm tired of being all day trying things

That recovery is ancient. Just use fastboot to flash a stock rom with miflash. Then flash latest twrp.

This is the first roadblock for him.
if fastboot devices can't detect his device, then any fastboot command to flash a partition is also invalid.
Have you tried different machine to do adb devices/ fastboot devices?

Yes, linux and windows. And drivers are OK cause it worked before.
I think when i wiped system the device got corrupted someway. Now if i plug it into debian machine the computer detect the phone one sec., then dissapear other second, appear again... and so on.
My idea was to flash new recovery from otg but recovery didnt mount the device. Im researching for some way to mount it manually but at the moment not success.

I'm assuming it's a driver error. Few years ago i had a mtk smartphone and somehow i managed to hard brick it, PC recognize it just for 2 or 3 seconds and that was because fastboot drivers didn't installed so i had to install it manually from device manager, for mtk drivers name was preload 89xx (driver must be for specific motherboard model number), i opened device manager, boot phone in fastboot mode, connect it to pc and on the short time wen the PC recognize the phone i hited right click and choose update driver manually, i believe it could be possible to do the same thing with mi 6, i don't know if there are separate drivers for fastboot mode to be able to install them.

Disable and enable it sometimes while it's connected for me it helps
No success
Do you think I should sent mi 5s to xiaomi repair center? the problem is that I have no clue about where they are.
Have you try install rom via usb otg?
yes,
OTG USB is not detected by phone.
The good news is that final fastboot mode is recognized and if I type "fastboot devices" on command windows it returs something
Unfortunately if I do the same with ADB "adb devices" I got no answer
Which is the command in fastboot mode to copy file in internal memory of smartphone?
I have a custom rom RR in ZIP format. If I could send this zip by fastboot I should solve my problem
I don't think simply copying the file over into your phone will solve it. also, in fastboot you have to flash .img files, not .zip files, since you will have to flash partitions manually.
have you also tried adb sideload?
