You should be able to factory reset your phone in the recovery. I don't own this phone yet but most Androids will.

N7105 factory mode

Hi guys, i seriously need help here. Please refer to attached screenshot.
I came here after flashing sokp 4.2.2 rom, and it prompted me an error saying encryption was unsuccessful. After which, i wasnt able to use my phone since then.
I tried to flash stock rom, and I end up with this. Please dont tell me to search the forums because Ive been to them countless times. I suppose this is a efs issue, because baseband and imei are unknown and I do not have a backup for it. Tried with the writing tool for imei, doesnt work as well.
Pls ask me for any info u might need/i missed out to help with this issue.
I think it's in the efs folder, you have to use a root browser and edit factory mode to off instead of on. It's been a long time since I saw factory mode so I'm not 100%

Thanks for your reply. But even if I off factory mode, will the baseband and imei be unknown?
I'm not sure but if it doesn't the 2 things that might be worth trying are, emergency firmware recovery with kies or mskips toolkit has a rescue package but I think you have to go to skipsoft.net now as the thread was closed

It's current value is "OFF"...u have to write "ON"...i know it sounds weird but that is the value. Amd if u don't have any previous back up of EFS then there's nothing u can do at home to bring it back. Same thing happened to mine and i got it repaired from a local shop for cheap...they used z3x box...the problem is my IMEI is correct and network works fine...but everytime i flash a ROM i have to take it to the shop and get the modem patched or else it doesn't connect to network. So go to Samsung service centre and get it fixed by them...they'll charge u more but their fix is permanent.

Alright, it seems like i have a backup of the efs, bt the nv_data.bin file is not included, and i read on other threads that this file is responsible for the imei and all? This backup is dated in aug2013, but it doesnt help in restoring my phone because the efs pro software doesnt see this as a backup file. Im actually looking for one of the thread that actually taught how to edit the nv_data.bin file, but no luck till date.
This thread might help

WARNING: Custom Binary Blocked by FRP Lock.....

My situation is different from everyone's so i figured i'd share this with you all. I accidently turned off OEM Unlocker/USB Debugging in developer options and when i start my phone i'm completely locked out I CAN get into download mode but CANT flash anything at because the bootloader is locked. So im just writing this to let all you (Sprint Galaxy S6 G920P owners) not to do this unless u want a really expensive high end paperweight.... i can't flash anything because the bootloader is locked...... :crying::crying::crying:

No in fact like i said my situation is different in a sense i'm locked out of the binary via the OEM switch being off im assuming....And the FRP will not let me modify ANYTHING lol crazy right...
btw can u please PM the proper locations of all the stock 5.11 firmware aka The BL, AP,CP & CSC stock files if they exist lol and all the full stock firmware. BTW anyone interested in this situation i attached pix of my screen after flashing Stock OE7

I just had the same problem. I ended up re-flashing the stock OF7 tarball in Odin.
OF7 tallball
What is "OF7 tallball".
Where can i find that.
My phone is: G920T.
what is that, i want to know too
I am having the same Issue with the G920T, did anyone find a solution for it?
Having tbe same exact problem as the OP. Everthing I flash through ODIN fails. Even flashing stock 5.1.1 OF7 fails. I believe it's because I was on OGA so I have to wait until the tarball for that comes out I guess.
I had this problem yesterday. The way I fixed it was to flash the F8 bootloader, and then I could get the unroot rom to load.
Maybe a fluke, but that is what I did to fix mine.
Now I am unable to unlock it. I tried ChainFire CF-Auto-root and TWRP - both give the custom recovery is blocked. Any help on this is appreciated.
Thanks.

was it just plugging it the same way it was showing the block .. thanks
I had same issue as first post. so I odin to the stock 5.1.1 firmware. Now when I reboot and it asks to verify my gmail account I set up when I got device. I did that but it takes my info then pops back up with the verify screen I know I'm entering the correct info because I try a wrong pw and it says check pw. Has anyone else had it basically got back to verify gmail account ? also if you look in google at linked devices it shows tha last activity of you signing in? I hope I don't have a $600 paperweight!

I have the same exact problem with my Sprint S6.
I have tried all possible stock Firmwares :
G920PVPU1AOCF
G920PVPU1AOE2
G920PVPU2BOF7
G920PVPU2BOH1
None of them workes. any idea, please keep update.
I got this same exact problem yesterday on my SM-G920P as well. Been up all night trying to figure it out, has anyone found a solution to this?
Just got mine working again Apparently the original firmware I had on my phone was "G920PVPU3BOI1" so I just downloaded and flashed that in Odin and it flashed without the "Custom Binary Blocked by FRP Lock" error I kept on usually getting. So for anybody with this problem, if you are unsure which firmware you originally had on your phone before the brick, just try to flash all the possible ones via Odin until one works
How to find proper firmware while bricked.

You can just go into recovery mode and the proper version is put on the top of the screen.

[ROOT][Samsung Galaxy Tab E][sm-t377p/sm-t560nu]

WHATS THIS?
This is my port of CF-AUTOROOT for the Samsung Galaxy TAB E.
You flash this at your own risk. Please ensure you have the stock ROM to hand downloaded from SAMMOBILE or a TWRP backup in case of problems. This will trip the knox counter.
Flash with ODIN 3.10.7 in the AP slot.
Load the respective file below into the AP slot and hit start.
cfautoroot_sm-t377p.tar
cfautoroot_sm-t560nu.tar
NOTE: ON SOME 5.1.1 DEVICES IT IS NECESSARY TO GO TO:
Settings -> Developer Options -> OEM unlocking
AND ENABLE OEM UNLOCK FIRST OR YOU MAY ENCOUNTER 'BLOCKED BY FRP LOCK' WHEN FLASHING.

That was my plan ...however they do not support this model number yet so its not available to be reflashed. I checked sammobile as well figuring I could download firmware and use Odin to reflash and same situation.
There's a chance the sm-t377R4 firmware may flash as it's practically identical to the sprint firmware just a different csc.
Okay....will try and find that one.
Hi, I had a question. The Samsung Tab E is my first android device (I am a IOS user, so i know how to Jailbreak, but I don't know how to root!). My friend told me to root it, but I don't really know how to do it. Can you post a step by step tutorial. Also, after i rooted can i update my device to a newer version or do i have to remove the root. Lastly, how do you back up your device? Thank you! I appreciate your hard work!

You can follow the tutorial below, it's for the Tab A but the procedure is identical.
Obviously don't use the cf_autoroot file in the tutorial use the one here. Also note the PDA button in Odin is now called AP.

You can update your device with odin anytime you want but not via ota.
To back up you device you need to install TWRP.
Search Google for info on using TWRP.

I tried the t377R4 firmware that didn't work. Any idea on where I could track down a copy of the t377p? Odd I can't even use the Samsung Smart Switch or even Kies as it doesn't recognize the model number. Or if anyone has a backup available they can share please let me know.
I have a US Cellular Samsung Tab E SM-T377R4 and I rooted it using the procedure below. The root process went fine and everything is working well except Recovery Mode does not work. It just boots to a black blank screen when I try to go to Recovery Mode. But that's no big deal to me.

Surprised recovery doesn't work, considering the 2 devices are identical specs.
Try installing Twrp, you'll probably find that works OK.

What's the issue?
Rooting gone bad... Rooted my SM-T377P with KingRoot and there is an FRP Lock that comes up a week later. All of the custom ROM versions I have keep getting rejected by ODIN every time I try to flash them. The only other way I can think of doing this is to flash the stock ROM for the device.

Going through the same exact thing here. Trying to flash G950USQS2BQL1 that I got from Sammobile and first got the mismatch then I tried flashing with Prince Comsy's version of Odin and got the Fail auth. Now it's just stuck at SetupConnection. Let me know if you find any way that works please. I'll keep you updated if I figure it out.
I actually accidentally fixed it yesterday and successfully returned to stock. Even got Samsung pay and Android pay to work. I'll check out what files I used when I get home and let you know.
Try getting the firmware from updato instead of sammobile.

You need to flash the stock verizon files in ODIN. You can search XDA or Google it. There are threads that explain it. Backup your phone, download the files - might take a while, unzip, and flash. It will wipe your phone.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Boost Mobile Stock ROM/Firmware Fix/Stuck?

I have a boost Mobile samsung galaxy s3 from a long time and I was wondering if I can fix my phone because I installed root access on it and TWRp on it and now when I was resetting it. I tried to wipe everything and I think I accidentally wiped the whole phone
Is there a way of getting back the whole phone back to factory original condition with all sim card info like email address, who it belongs to etc etc.

You can restore it to factory new with a PC, Odin , and the stock firmware tar file. But the email addresses and all that are not on the phone if you wiped it. It belongs to you doesn't it? The S3 has a built in sim, it's a CDMA phone so it provisions itself with it's imei when you turn it on.
Search the forum for sprint s3 firmware ending in NDC, or NJ3 for boost firmware.
You're not going to be able to restore some previous owners information if that's what you're asking.

That's the stock system. The instructions to flash it are in that post. You need a PC. You also need Odin 3.07. it's in the forum if you look around.
Update: you can get Odin here
Just get Odin 3.07 in the thread I linked. Download firmware and follow instructions in the first link I posted once you have Odin.
Or if you still have twrp installed, you can always flash a custom rom.
