Yesterday I tried booting android p dp4 GSI build, I got from here http://telegra.ph/Android-P-on-Whyred-07-21 . I did as instructed there, it didn't boot, just got past mi bootlogo, Google animation and then into a screen with my mi id, lockscreen owner message, and a password block for a split second and then again booting back into twrp. (For some reason I couldn't use the previous miui beta I was using earlier, even after full flash couldn't got past setup screen, booted using a later miui beta build)
If anyone successfully booted into P dpi4 GSI, please tell me da wae ?

Hopefully someone can help me its for X800 china version
I tried to open the phone after 2 years, and tried to update it with official ROM from http://123.59.123.195/cn/download/phone/30
After updating, when I tried to reboot it, it got stuck on this black screen with a small penguin, and then after few seconds, it restarts back with the same black screen and the penguin.
I can still access TWRP recovery if I press the vol up button while it is restarting. I tried installing different custom ROM, but to no avail. I would really appreciate if you can help me fix my phone
EDIT: RESOLVED
It was looping on fastboot mode (the penguin icon)
Tried installing an older version, lollipop based, from Cuoco92 (from here https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=57901) and it worked again (thanks Cuoco92!)
Upon reading online, it seems the partition may have been corrupted since I'm trying to flash a MM ROM from a lollipop ROM ,without updating the firmware
I found out that I need to update the firmware to 16S, which I downloaded from this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/le...ollipop-marshmallow-firmware-x800-cn-t3463736
(thanks hugoprh!)
After that I am able to install any ROM, from MM and up (was able to install Lineage OS 14.1)

If you came straight from MIUI,
You need to format internal storage, because of MIUI encryption.
I booted successfully. But can't install Play Store & Play Services and unable to login in Vivo Account.
Funtouch is treble link

Anyone flashed TWRP or Magisk in realme x with android 10?
Is it working properly with android 10 ?
I am asking because the last time i flashed TWRP ,then phone stuck in bootloop and when i fixed that and installed Magisk, then popup camera stopped working and slo-mo also stopped working in back camera.
I have whyred (Indian ver.) I was using orange fox recovery latest build. What i did was flashed redmi note 5 Russian recovery rom (whyred ru). The rom flashed correctly, after i set up the rom i went again to recovery to flash havoc os.
Before flashing havoc i flashed 20.6.18 china beta firmware and restarted to recovery again.
Then i selected havoc os it said some error like corrupt or something. then i selected pixel experience, same error popped. Every rom i flashed gave me error.
I was frightened so i rebooted the phone to fastboot and went to mi flash. I didn't noticed it was showing device as com7 instead of serial no.
When i clicked flash it said cannot receive hello packet error.
I've tried every guide available but no luck.
Please help ?.
Now phone is dead and is just showing as com port
Unbricked!!!!!
I got an miui 12.0.1.0.RCOINXM update after which phone started to randomly reboot, especially when there was some drop down notification or call.
So I decided to install custom rom. I tried to install Pixel Experience Recovery but that was giving "System is destroyed press power button to shutdown". I fixed it by flashing orange fox but using orange fox pixel experience got in boot loop. So I installed Pixel Experience Recovery from orange fox recovery and the used ADB to sideload pixel experience which worked and I setting up my phone but suddenly I get a notification and the phone reboots which is similar behavior to miui 12.0.1.0.RCOINXM. is there some thing else that I can change like kernel or something which can resolve this problem.
I am using PixelExperience_ginkgo-11.0-20211216-1154-OFFICIAL.zip
pls help
PS : the phone remains in boot loop if not plugged in charging and idk why but fastboot logo didn't change to pixel experience's

PixelExperience_ginkgo-11.0-20211216-1154-OFFICIAL.zip is for the original Redmi Note 8 (ginkgo)
Judging by your MIUI version (if i remember correctly the new Note 8 ships with MIUI 12.5), you are in the wrong forum, the original Note 8 forum is here.
OR
You have installed a Note 8 (ginkgo) rom to a Note 8 (2021) (biloba) witch is not compatible with the new note 8.
Thanks for reply Aninuscsalas but No my redmi note 8 is 2019 edition and even after install correct roms even downgrading the same issue persists
I think as my device is A partition only devices [Non-A/B] there might have been something wrong during the update process and that might have made some problems.
Here is my partition table can anyone pls confirm if this is Ok?[in attached]

Sorry i can't help. (I know almost nothing about phones.)
But if your phone is the 2019 version then you are in the wrong forum.
Maybe someone in that forum can help:
