if you know the application name, just add .apk to the application name and try to download it from 4shared.com. you will find most of the Apps, but to be true, that will not be as great as access to Market. Here in Dubai,we have access to only FREE apps in the market, but where as i travel to India, i can purchase apps from Market. so try moving to another country
Good Luck.

No Android Market in Sudan
Same problem my friend from Sudan. iam also from Sudan and iam the only one here who understand you very well...I used Applanet since i came from outside sudan..then it stop working...finally i use to search manually for applications in the web.....
but....
laugh a lot when you see all these commercials about android in Sudan....I am using Samsung Galaxy S...worth 500 Euros..but no market.. what a waste...
Root your phone(no need for custom hboot, recovery, rom, or whatever, just root it) and then use market enabler([us] T-mobile setting has all the apps that are on the market I think)...
Update 3:
UPDATE from the developer (MrGreg -- post link):
The developer, MrGreg, has created a dedicated website for the distribution of Roam Control. The application will remain off the Google Market for now.
Relevant blog posts from the new website: http://www.roamctrl.com/
Jan-03-2011:
Roam Control 2.1.0 is now available. It contains the same functionality as versions 2.0.0 (which were previously available in the market), but it was updated to be compatible with the new servers. Please see the download page for links.
Jan-01-2011:
Roam Control for Android is now available through this website! We appreciate your patience while we transitioned from the Android Market to our own site. The website is still under construction, but we will be adding more information in the coming weeks.
Many things have been implemented from the ground up (PayPal integration, licensing server, etc), so please let us know if you encounter any issues or have any suggestions. Thanks!!

Update 2:
It once again appears that the application was pulled off the Market by Google.
UPDATE from the developer (MrGreg -- post link):
NOTE (12/21/2011): I'm sorry to report that Roam Control has pulled from the market yet again. It's the same story as before...I received an automated email from Google that did not provide any specifics on why the app was pulled. I have tried to appeal the decision numerous times, but I have yet to receive any type of acknowledgement or response from the Android market team.
As a temporary solution for customers who have already purchased the app, the app can be downloaded here:
- For users who purchased the original app (version 1.7.0 or earlier), please use the version available here: LINK
- For users who purchased the new app (version 2.0.0.g2), please use the version available here: LINK
I'm obviously not going to put the app back on the market unless I get the go-ahead from Google. As an alternative, I will likely either make the app available through the Amazon Appstore or directly through this website. Please stay tuned for details.

Update 1:
UPDATE from the developer (MrGreg -- post link):
NOTE (12/05/2011): Roam Control has been re-published in the market!! I appreciate your patience while I worked to resolve the situation. I still have not received a response from Google indicating why the app was pulled from the market, so be aware that it's possible they may pull the new versions as well.
For users who already purchased the previous app, please use the version available here: LINK
For new users who have not yet purchased Roam Control, please use the version available here: LINK

Just a FYI: Roam Control Website
Copied directly from the website linked above: said:
NOTE (11/29/2011): I received an email today from Google indicating that Roam Control was removed/suspended from the market. I did not receive any explanation, other than it was "due to a violation of the Developer Content Policy." I'm working on getting the app restored, however I've come to understand that Google is incredibly unresponsive in these situations. If I cannot reinstate the app, I will certainly make it available in some other fashion. To those who have already purchased the app, I certainly do not expect anyone to pay for it a second time. As a temporary measure, the latest version of the app can be downloaded here.

It checks for license, so if you haven't purchased it already it won't work

I actually do want to give it away for free, I'm just using it to help support my family for now, I hope y'all can appreciate that.
The version that's linked on my website is the version that was pulled from the market, so it does still have the license check. I'm debating what to do at the moment...I wish Google would respond to my emails so I could make my decision. I appreciate your patience...

Good advice. One simple check is to enter false details the first time you use it. If it's a phishing app the chances are it will just accept them. Not foolproof but better than nothing

Personally, I would just use google to find a US proxy server. Google Play will think you are in the US if you use a proxy server.
Just set up the proxy in your wifi and you can download directly from play to your phone the way you normally do with apps. It will just pass through the proxy server untouched to your phone.
And you can thank me if you want!!

i agree.. use " Use market unlocker " from google play and choose a USA region and it should work. I do use market unlocker all the time when certain apps are blocked.
The market unlocker app probably does just the same thing. It uses a proxy to connect to the market.

Yeah, a thinking thief will pass the credentials on as usual, but just log them...
So this wouldn't really help against any sensible attack imo

That's awesome.
I tried a lot of stuff to get this to work without success...
Would you mind doing some sharing on how you did that?
(The signup proccess I am aware of, the quick help, the banner etc etc.)
But I get "not available in your country"... I have tried with VPNs etc without success.
(I have the South Korean version of the phone, even though I am based in sweden)
So I guess you've done something with your LG account or setup another account?
Please try to use OpenVPN connect as the image attached.
You must changed the region first, turnoff the LTE/ mobile signal, only using Wifi to register account or use LG account that you had → change to Korea, join event and accept the conditions (Using Google translator on another mobile for Korean). That's all.

Yes, that is the link. But for me too, it throws a 404 error.
Clicking on the link goes to 404, but then the website address in the address bar is "https://www.xda-developers.com/andr...382.884869711.1639209672-594525826.1638518782" which is wrong. Shortening it by deleting everything after "install/" correctly leads to the intended page (like this: https://www.xda-developers.com/android-software-update-download-links-repository-sideload-install/).

I've tried Chrome, Firefox and I even installed tor browser and they all pull 404.
Installed XDA's app and still getting same result. IDKWTF. I hate computers sometimes.

I use MS Edge and FF. Both correctly lead to the content from the link given by Oswald Boelcke. No 404s. Did you check the URLs in the browser? I think that it is not XDA that is having issues since others are able to properly access. It is some users like you and me who are having issues.
I can't understand what the hell is going on everything is correct. I use Google as my DNS server. I hate Xfinity.

I usually ignore glitches here as they go away after a short time.
Or as Adroid has conditioned me to do... I find a workaround
