Roam Control is off the Market, but now has a dedicated website

UPDATE from the developer (MrGreg -- post link):
The developer, MrGreg, has created a dedicated website for the distribution of Roam Control. The application will remain off the Google Market for now.

Roam Control 2.1.0 is now available. It contains the same functionality as versions 2.0.0 (which were previously available in the market), but it was updated to be compatible with the new servers. Please see the download page for links.

Roam Control for Android is now available through this website! We appreciate your patience while we transitioned from the Android Market to our own site. The website is still under construction, but we will be adding more information in the coming weeks.
Many things have been implemented from the ground up (PayPal integration, licensing server, etc), so please let us know if you encounter any issues or have any suggestions. Thanks!!

It once again appears that the application was pulled off the Market by Google.

NOTE (12/21/2011): I'm sorry to report that Roam Control has pulled from the market yet again. It's the same story as before...I received an automated email from Google that did not provide any specifics on why the app was pulled. I have tried to appeal the decision numerous times, but I have yet to receive any type of acknowledgement or response from the Android market team.
As a temporary solution for customers who have already purchased the app, the app can be downloaded here:
- For users who purchased the original app (version 1.7.0 or earlier), please use the version available here: LINK
- For users who purchased the new app (version 2.0.0.g2), please use the version available here: LINK
I'm obviously not going to put the app back on the market unless I get the go-ahead from Google. As an alternative, I will likely either make the app available through the Amazon Appstore or directly through this website. Please stay tuned for details.

It checks for license, so if you haven't purchased it already it won't work

damn another app bites the dust. i feel bad for the dev he must have been making good money off this and now it will be twice as hard. hopefully google will resolve this

I actually do want to give it away for free, I'm just using it to help support my family for now, I hope y'all can appreciate that.

I had to wipe my device, if I install the apk file will the device know that I paid for it by my Google account credentials?

I don't always reply to all suggestions, but I try to. You can re-send your email if you want to be at the top of the list
Also, all proceeds (after fees) for 12/5, 12/6, and 12/7 (2PM CST cutoff) will be donated to one or more needy families in MN school district 621. One family is a single mom who is supporting two kids while dealing with health issues. Thank you for your generosity and kindness during this holiday season! i'm not sure if i quite understand what this app does versus me manually changing my roaming settings. Can someone explain for me? thanks !

Package Disabler Pro Deleted from PlayStore?

I just did a clean install of 6.0.1 and restored all my apps from playstore, but then I noticed that package disabler pro did not install. Upon searching the playstore via the app then the website it says item not found.
So i proceeded to download the latest APK for it, it installed fine but then the icon is deleted/missing from my app drawer. I also notice that the app doesn't even show up in applications via the settings menu.
Any idea what's going on?

No longer seeing it as well! EZ Disabler (a copy I guess) is present, but not the original.. Wtf happened?

Same here. I installed yesterday, but wanted to contact the developer for a refund (I believe he has a 3 day refund policy). I was disappointed in the battery savings (i.e., none for me).

I emailed the developer for package disabler pro (Samsung) and he said it will be back up soon. This was 15 hours ago or so. No reason given why it was pulled.
hope it's back up really soon

Following... My Note 5 went belly up over the weekend. Got a replacement today but Package Disabler Pro is nowhere to be found. Worked like a charm on the old device.

You need to try EZ Package Disabler. It works perfectly! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hecorat.packagedisabler

FYI - if you email [email protected] and give them your invoice for the original purchase they'll refund it so you don't have to buy it twice. I did that yesterday and they refunded me in minutes.

Don't need that.
Just install the free version and automatically you stay with the pro version.
Your Google play account recognises you already had paid the app.

[FTVS2] Black screen on Apps section

Hey guys, just bought the ftvs2. I get a black screen when i select the apps section on the device. I have tried clearing cache, data, etc. Also have done factory reset twice lol. Please help me. I have to sideload all apps otherwise

Will need a bit more info.
Are you blocking updates thru the router or opendns method ? Had you blocked updates thri the router &/or opendns for other FTV(S)'s before and left things in place ? Are you running a VPN on it? What app market location are you in or are trying to access?

Why will I block updates and all lol. Just unboxed and plugged it in. Didn't mess up with dns and other blocks and stuff too.
It's just that the screen is black. Apps install fne through recommendations. I'm using English (India) so maybe indian market

If you had worked on FTV's before. You could had left update blocking up on your router. So had to ask to clarify.

The app selection on the Fire TV Stick in India is much more limited than in any other country because paid apps and apps with in-app purchasing are not yet supported in the Indian Amazon appstore. Although my Downloader app is 100% free, it does have in-app purchasing enabled to accept donations, so my Downloader app is not yet allowed in India. I’ll try to find out when apps with in-app purchasing will be allowed on Indian Fire TVs. If it seems like something that won’t be available for a while, I’ll release a version of my Downloader app in India with the donation buttons removed.

Change to English(UK) & see if that helps. Not sure if you will have to add a UK address in you account for it to work right. Also read the comments to see what others are experiencing. Seems the India FTV App Store is bare bones at the moment.

Do you know any way I could get an android TV apk of a certain app? I've tried market helper, it won't work as google has blocked it's access token. No hopes with build.prop edits. I've tried emulating android tv on avd but that too sucks as play store is not proper over there. It's stuck at sign in.

One last question: (noobish) How do i make normal casting work/screen mirroring on ftvs work in background all the time

Huawei bootload unlock site down?

Hello I just got the Mate SE and I am trying to figure out how to get my bootloader unlock code but https://www.emui.com/en/plugin/unlock/index doesn't seem to be up??
Also when I try making my Huawei account United States isn't listed as a country and thus do not get my verification text message when registering.

I see the same thing. Judging by this picture (source), it seems like they've actually removed the unlock option from their website. Have they changed their policy on unlocking?

Found this screenshot of what is supposed to be chat with an honor rep. In a telegram device group.
I hope it is a fake. If it is real then , I see absolutely no reason to even buy from hauwei or honor again

I just sent them an email myself. Did you call them yet?

I decided it's not worth pursuing since this phone isn't worth keeping. The screen is nice but everything else is incomprehensibly bad. If they charged $50-75 more and made the speaker, haptics, and camera less godawful it would be the perfect device. For me the dream of a good <$300 phone is dead, time to get a pixel 2 and move on with my life.
Edit: I followed Sandman-007's unlock guide. After installing AOSP, the phone exceeds expectations. The camera has even miraculously fixed itself. Woo!

I just got this email from Support. I'm trying to figure out if I want to send it back. I want custom ROMs. But at the same time I really like this phone.
I wonder if I used a VPN and spoof IP for China if I could access the bootloader unlock page?
So I tried it. Spoofed my IP to China. I Google searched https://www.emui.com/cn/plugin/unlock/index
It comes up in Google search and it's clear its for China. When I try to load the page I don't get a 404 like the U.S page but it's just a white blank page. Gonna keep trying

What is wrong is typed out there, domain is not valid and its notified towards the holder (HTC) use the theme app from the play store and try the website another time.

Well it works here. But as for starters your post lacks all important info. What rom,what firmware, what's been changed. Version numbers......all of that could give more insight in your issue.
