-Xposed 89 sdk22 installed
-Dont have TA backup

-USB debugging not turned ON
1. The story is last night i flashed Sir cmdarkshadow port ExistenZ 9.5.5, before that i use Miui 7
2. Aftel clean flash im getting internal not mounted bug (not the actual problem here)
3. Then after some search all over the forum i used a terminal code in attempt to fix the storage bug, the command were :-
su
echo mkdir/storagesdcard0 > /data/local/userinit.sh (but i got error saying permission denied )
then i proceed with chmod 700/data/local/userinit.sh
and i rebooted
since that my device stuck in bootloop, the behavior is Xperia logo appear along with red led (not blinking) in about 3 second and this behavior repeat infinitely
i also cannot access the recovery via pressing vol + and vol -
Window 7 do recognize my device but adb wont, it say waiting for device for eternity
what should i do ? did i mess with GPL? or my recovery got deleted from the command i made?
please help, this phone is my daily driver and i have classes which i cant see my notes without. please help me :crying:

In sim card slot there is a small red button. Hold it down with toothpick or paper clip until you feel three vibrations. That will shut off your phone.
After that you can use Flashtool to flash stock firmware. Or you can try adb again.

It would help to diagnose the problem, if you first tell us what you did to cause this? Best to be honest, saves time.
I was using AAHK (Advanced Hack kit) and it was running OK until it popped up a windows dialog box asking for Qualcomm CDMA driver MSM (similar to the device I now see in device manager).
I wasn't sure what to do so I stopped there.
After that I couldn't reboot (screen always black) and am in this situation
I have tried EVERYTHING!
I can push/pull from ADB but "adb shell" tells me /bin/sh is missing.... but in Linux I can copy over /system/bin and /system/lib (from another droid) and then I can adb to root shell (at least until reboot as I am then in a temporary build).. if I then run /sbin/recover I get the red triangle recovery screen.... that's about as far as I got.... I don't have linux here though so I may not immediately be able to get the shell, as I can't change the perms of the pulled droidn stuff that I push.
I am pulling my hair out!!!!
the only thing I can do is get root adb!
no fastboot
can anybody tell me how to reflash a radio through adb?
to an mmcblk....
may help?
I having a too similar issue!
I used the AAHK to root and s-OFF, until it finished the phone reboot and got this state.
Putting off the battery with luck (I dont know how or why) I can start the phone 3 times... but every time I restart it stuck.
I installed 4EXTRecovery and format all (except sd card) and installed a custom ROM "Erebus", I tough that I fix it with it, but still stucking every time I restarted the device...
EDIT:
It start again...
1. put off the battery
2. wait 20 seconds
3. put the battery back
4. wait <>10 min (I shouldn't say exactly how much)
5. turn on the phone
The last time it works in that way.
I have tried this... no luck
I think the phone totally dead for ever.
It's annoying that I can get adb and root shell "#" and can have access to everything yet cannot get anything to work.
All I can do is put the phone in "recovery" mode. But that is useless...
thanks darunion!
Go to the Irc channel for the developer and he will help out
Sent from my Desire HD using xda premium
I did this and he tried to help, but we still couldn't get it working.
I need to know, with a root shell via ADB can I re-install the the radio?
The radio.img is 25MB.. where to put?
Actually I dd the eng bootloader to the appropriate mmcblk... but nothing has changed!!
thanks
Dhd or inspire? If inspire look for genepooles s on return to stock thread put on SD card and try hack kit again . Dunno if there's anything like that for dhd.
Edit: look here for flashing radio http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=896597
Sent from my Inspire 4g
DHD...
need to flash via adb as I haven't got fastboot (doesn't see phone with fastboot devices)
think bootloader is corrupt?? radio is corrupt for sure!
can use flash_image (and gfree if any use?)
getprop shows ro.cid totally corrupt!!!
ro.baseband 26.03.02.26_M
ro.bootloader 0.85.0007 (this is HBOOT!!)
I can also dmesg... and get complete log from kernel booting...
I can see during dmesg on initial boot (Kernel command line that the androidboot.cid is totally *corrupt* (crappy strange characters)
if the kernel boots why doesn't the screen come up???
Also:
in dmesg
msmfb_probe() installing 480 x 800 panel
mdp_lcdc_probe: initialized (probably probing for the display???)
...some stuff....
err: Device config mismatch
is this where the screen fails?
also
Issuing reboot from adb root shell # and the phone vibrates continuously and green led flashes!!
OK, a little further
running from adb root shell
/sbin/recovery update_package=SDCARD:/update.zip
gets me to a green circle with an arrow... and a progress bar and a little sdcard
this soon bombs to a red question mark and everything stops
I did pull the cable on the green circle and the power went off, when I plugged it back in the HTC logo came up (Green on white background) butt went straight to the red question mark!!!!
arghhhhh
even further.... up arrow and power during red question mark...
E: Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk1p1 ..... (the SD Card)
Getting closer I hope. (Stays like this even with fresh formatted card)
(I tried an internal flash upgrade that didn't get pass the red question mark for some reason)
It seems I am booting into a ramdisk.... I need somehow to get the sdcard back (by forcing off qualcomm diagnostics mode from adb if possible?)
I guess I can recover these ways.. any help appreciated!!
1. "fastboot oem enableqxdm 0" somehow from adb (I don't have fastboot) so that an /sbin/recovery can retrieve the PD98IMG.ZIP from the sdcard and reinstall stock
2. Somehow rewrite the bootloader from the root shell (dd to an mmcblk) - I have done this for boot/recovery but seems to make no difference
3. Somehow get fastboot back so I can use it, at the moment I can't get fastboot to recognize the device no matter what I do (bootloader ******).
4. make PD98IMG.ZIP (or whatever) persistent in storage to allow me to access it on an /sbin/recovery reboot (somehow get it into /data which at the moment isn't persistent across reboots).
Anything else?
Don't think I need to jtag a device that can still be accessed through a root shell?
OK
mounted /data manually and stuck in PD98IMG.zip
/sbin/recovery --update_package=DATAD98IMG.zip
gets
E: Signature verification failed
I have tried original RUU extracted images!!! and others but still the same message!!!
I wonder whether the /res/keys public key is HTC's!
Is there an unsigned 3e patched recovery version available for DHD?

acro s hard bricked

i got my acro s hard bricked
I used twrp for making a backup for the the stock firmware.
and then i installed the 5.0.1 the lollipop custom firmware
the link :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2799765
, but it was not rooted but somehow the recovery was working good .. i decided to restore the stock using the backup version which i made in the beginning coz the ROM was sucks. after finishing the loading it asked for restart and after that i got a blank screen and the following
-no response for charging
-no LED lights at all
-non of any combinations working (volume+ and power on , hard reset or volume+up+power on)
-access to fastboot or flashtool is denied
-no power on no vibrations
but after a day of charging an Orange LED appears but i waited for two more days till the LED disappeared
and tried the flashtool but all i got is "device connected but with debugging off"
i think the problem was using recovery with unrooted device but can't find a solution for that
any suggestions ??!!
Notes:
am too calm
am not panic ..
am not in hurry too
and it's not a big deal
i just want the device back in order to get my stuff from it that's why going to Sony service center is not an option coz they format the whole device
Similar here on st26i
On 4.4 Paranoidandroid I've got after a five days of use in one second a lot of force closes. From every app from the system. It was impossible to stop it, or make normal reboot, so I've hold Power + VolUp and waited till three vibrations. Then turn on the phone, normal vibration and SONY logo.
After that black screen. First with some backlight, after minutes phone backlight turn off.
Now:
- No response for Power button
- No response for Power+VolUp combination
- No charging LED
- System find only SEMC Flash Device
- Flashtool says Device Connected with USB Debugging off
- Combination Power+VolUp make connected device to disconnect and connect again as SEMC Flash Device
- Cant acces fastboot, dwonload mode.

[Q] Gnex Brick Mount Fastbood Write Fail help :'(

Hi everybody,
ok I will try to make this short
I have an experienced user level ROM, recovery, boot, ..
My phone is BRICKED! Is it?
AT THE MOMENT:
- I get into fastboot mode
- I get into odin downloading mode
- I can't start in recovery mode
- I can't start bootloader mode
- I have a connection with a laptop (win XP, as win8.1 didnt work for me)
- The computer can communicate with the phone in fastboot mode
- The computer cant communicate with the phone in Odin mode (at the moment Odin PC SoftWare doesn't recognize the phone)
- I am sure the drivers are installed correctly now. Thanks to the guide with fully stripped drivers.
- Using different, multiple different, no thousand different methods I tried flashing the stock OS (Yakju 4.3)
- I like SkipSoft Android ToolKit (Although I used fastboot and adb commands, I find the toolkit to do the same thing..)
- I always get an Error, when the process of flashing starts.
> PC says : Error
> Phone (in fastboot mode) says: FAILWrite Fail
INTERESTING:
- While I still was able to get into Recovery, the phone couldnt mount the sdcard (=> the internal drive)
- Some of the methods I use make the phone CRASH
> means the screen stops at its position and slowly turns completely purple
- The phone power button doesnt start the phone, to get the phone doing something at all I have to trick it:
..> I plug it into the wall charger
..> I take the battery out
..> I put the battery back in
..> I wait
..> I can get into 3 routines:
^Normal starting routine (of course stuck at google start up, since no Rom is installed)
^fastboot mode (VOL + & - & Power)
^odin mode (VOL - & Power)
..> Then I can just plug the USB cable into the PC
- 2 days ago I had (every single version) of Odin PC Software recognizing the phone (phone was in Odin mode), but it also failed after trying the recommended and unrecommended settings. Ended with an error message.
HOW:
I left my phone overnight in the car (Temp: -2 deg C), while Im sure spotify and maybe other consuming apps were playing.
Next day, my phone battery was empty and I couldnt start my normal ROM. (I had Slim Rom installed)
It was stuck at the "Google" start up display.
First intentions showed that it might be more than just the Software :/
Many days and so many hours of work, research and reading in forums, I decided to take a shot and ask here.
I appreciate everything xda-members have done for me already. Though I never needed to register for my earlier questions.
Phone data:
Product Name - tuna
Variant - maguro 16gb
HW version - 9
Bootloader Version - primemd04
baseband version -
carrier info - none
serial number - -a3c208 ***
signing - production
lock state- unlocked
BUMP!!! I have absolutely the same problem!! I can access everything, i enter the recovery trying to WIPE every single thing data, system, cache, storage etc.. but it seems it doesnt work. The information stays. I tried to "softbrick unroot & stock" with a nexus kit, everything seems ok, but after it finishes installing, it boots up on GOOGLE and after 10-15 min it starts to BOOT MY OLD CUSTOM ROM THAT I HAD BEFORE, after another 15-20 min it finally boots up and the system is EXTREMELY choppy and unresponsive and after a few minutes it restarts itself. I tried ODIN and I faced the same problem, it goes well to ~45% and then it freezes, and after a short delay odin gives FAILED. I tried several more things that i found on the internet and xda but nothing helps. Probably a corrupted partition or something. THE DAMN STORAGE DOESNT WANT TO DELETE ITSELF FFS!! PLEASE IF YOU KNOW ANY FIX/ALREADY FIXED YOURS PLEASE HELP!!! I need my phone!
can you give us more information about the error message?

Similar, only difference is with fastboot i can successfully flash system.img but nothing happens. With odin it fails at around 45% and then freezes. Only difference is that i cannot boot to old stock and i dont have this pulpish problem. I simply reboot on my old custom ROM configuration with all my last known icons widgets.. but the phone is choppy and unresponsive as hell.
I only get an error without any further message after flashing any of the images...
Any idea anyone? Isn't it some hardware issue?
Noo man i dont think its hardware problem, for me it all happened when my phone suddenly restarted itself and after that it bootloops forever and i have those problems
Anyone?
does erase work?
yes
can you get into recovery?

ka
how do you know that erase works, I mean that what you erased has really been erased?
One of the erase command in the toolkit was succesful, I guess. But I will recheck every error or successful message later tonight.
still NOT working
2 months have passed and I was too busy with other things.
now back to it. the problem hasnt changed.
i try fastboot flash command:
[fastboot flash bootloader x.img]
- in Computer Terminal: 'FAILED(remote:Write Fail) '
- on phone: ' FASTBOOT STATUS - FAILWriteFail '
any idea, please?

brick after format data

Hello,
I think I bricked my phone
I wanted to upgrade from 4.4.2 to Lollipop http://forum.xda-developers.com/sony-xperia-z1-compact/general/stock-14-6-1-236-customized-lollipop-5-t3264557
And before that I did a factory reset and format data (I got some issues on my phone and wanted to get rid of them).
Now I can not enter TWRP, I can not enter any thing. At the time beeing, after many restarts my red button is broken, I switch it off by "Power/Vol+". When I connect USB or push Power it starts and showing "SONY"-Logo, and that's it.
I can not enter flash-mode by swith off, hold Vol- and connect USB :crying:
What can I do to revive my Z1c?
Thanks for advices

Yes, I have, but can not enter my phone/don't know how to enter.
I tried switch off (by Power and Vol+), holding Vol- (the same with Vol+) and plug in USB - it starts by showing red light for 2 sec than "SONY", and than stps - no vibration, no light, only steady "SONY"
cmd shows: D:\Programme\Android-Tools\ADB>adb reboot recovery
* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *
error: device not found
D:\Programme\Android-Tools\ADB>adb reboot recovery
error: device not found
D:\Programme\Android-Tools\ADB>adb reboot bootloader
error: device not found
Phhu, hopefully I do something wrong?!
Install these:

and try again

Power off by holding power and volume up, just wait until it turns off. When it's totally shut off, just hold volume up while plugging in cable and don't let go of volume until you see blue led. Then you're in fastboot mode. If you have drivers installed, it's very easy to get into recovery from there. Report back.
If everything fails...
Install Flashtool on your PC, install the necessary drivers (flashtool helps you with that), download the current firmware in .ftf format and apply it with Flashtool to your phone.
No worries, we all were at your point sometime but you can always recover
Thanks for your hints, folks!
I'll try them tomorrow and give feedback than.
Happened to me once.. Accidentally wiped my data..
Only thing I managed to do is reinstall kk via flashtool
Xperia Z1 Compact .386 rooted
...nothing works.
I have almost everything installed: adb.exe (800kb from 25.07.2013), fastboot.exe (157kb from 25.07.2013), Flashtool (Version 0.9.14.0 built on 12-02-2014 22:45:00), Xperia Companion (Vers. 1.1.24.0), Z1 Compact drivers (device manager says: Sony sa0109 ADB Interface Driver Vers. 2.0.10.30018 from 13.05.2013).
Nothing can connect my Win10-PC via USB3.0 to my phone, it always starts (when I connect it to USB by holding wether Vol+ or Vol-) with red (...pink?) light for about 4sec, followed by showing "SONY" - end of anything.
I'm desperate :crying:
Do you get the green led light when connected in flash mode (vol down when connecting)?

No, only red light, than "SONY" without any vibration...
May it be, that usb-debugging was off, whenn I did format data?

I don't think it's related..
Maybe you don't have the right drivers on pc?
Xperia Z1 Compact LP .386 rooted
The fastboot or flashmode mode should always work - regardless of what you did regarding ROMs or setting or wipe etc.
It is there to save your phone if you messed up.
It is strange that you cant enter these modes. Normally its really a driver issue and you PC does not recognize your phone.
But it seems that you have tried installing them already.
Just to make sure... Your phone charges normally when you plug it in right? So it cant be a broken cable or broken micro-USB connection on your phone?
Also make sure your phone is really shut down - try resetting it with the red button next to your SIM-card slot.
Your volume buttons were fine before right?

BINGO!!! ...the usb-cable, it's a pretty new one, but I know, the Z1c doesn't like every cable
Now I can enter Flashtools flash and fastboot mode.
I think I lost almost everything on my Z1c, even my TWRP, don't I?

Thank you all for your input!
It was the usb-cable which did load my Z1c and in this case (no other data on the phone) light the purple LED and display the "SONY"-logo - but nothing else!
All the future problems are more on the software-side (my head) than on the hardware (the cable)...
Haha glad you sorted it out. I don't know why but I also have USB cables in my collection that just won't work with my Z1C... But now you know
If you need further help in restoring with flashtool you can also look up this thread for some helpful links : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2631291
Try to get your hands on a .108 firmware (I always keep one on my PC in case I f*** up ). They are easy to root with EasyRoot and from there you can flash dualrecovery. With TWRP you are good to access your backups or flash anything you want again.

Sony S struck at AOSP logo with no root access

Hello Guys
I had Chroma 5.01 installed on my phone since 4 years. I re-partitioned the SDCARD properly and installed Marshmallow from the tutorial at https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-s/s-development/pure-aosp-lollipop-t2940839.
There was no error at any different error than what told on tutorials. Everything went smooth but at the time of first boot up, my phone is struck at AOSP colourful logo of 4 balls animation . I waited for 5-6 hours for setup to finish but no use. During my efforts to restore it, I discovered that root access is not available.
fastboot mode and adb method not working as phone cant be switched off or get into fastboot mode.
Tried flashing Stock rom but still the same.
Is there any way where this problem can be overcome. No hard reset or soft reset method working so far as to my knowledge( If i am not doing anything wrong).
Please help as i love this phone for its dedicated HDMI output feature.

Is there any way where this problem can be overcome. No hard reset or soft reset method working so far as to my knowledge( If i am not doing anything wrong).
Please help as i love this phone for its dedicated HDMI output feature.

Don't panic bud..remember one thing fastboot and flashmode will always work at any circumstances. 1st install proper driver.you can find driver on the installations folder after you install flashtool. After installing drivers do the below steps.
Open flashtool
Connect USB cable to phone and PC.
Then press and hold volume down button for fastboot and vol up for flashmode as per your choice.then flash what you want

Have you installed the drivers from flashtool folder?Again remember fastboot or flashmode does not need root access ..if your phone is not switched off then keep pressing power+vol up to force shut down the phone and release the power key only to enter the flashmode (do this when connected to PC.).

thanks for the guidance. I could get into recovery by ADB command as follows
ADB reboot recovery
I had done the partition work earlier itself before i was hung upon Android 6.
wiped boot, cache and sdcard couple of times.
converted boot and cache to f2fs also.
However, somehow, i am in a bigger trouble now. My phone was showing 0 mb space for SDCARD due to which neither could I update to TWRp 3.x.x nor flash a new rom 8.1.
Rebooted to recovery couple of times and repeated earlier steps while trying to flash rom also but no use as sdcard space was still 0.
Accidentally, I reboot the phone to system and since then I am knee deep in Garbage.
Now my phone is struck on white SONY logo. I cant shut down the battery untill unless out of battery. As soon as battery is charged, it shows SONY. ADB failed to detect or connect to device.
Flash tool not working as cant get the phone in flash mode. Tried Xperia companion but still the same as cant get into flashmode.
Is there a way now to comeout of all this and fix the phone to its glory.
thanks in advance for looking into my trouble.
