Hello!
After upgrading to Oreo I'm experiencing this annoying sound notification every time my phone loses service coverage. It sounds like a normal message notification. I haven't found any switch in Settings to disable it or found any other trick. Can anyone help me? It's really annoying when I'm in a poor-coverage area.
Thanks!

I wanna rid of the network notifications for my phone.
Like when i connect to wifi i get a notification saying i used XX mb and i have so much left and it happens even when im only on 3G when ever it connects and re connects i get a toast msg.
Toast msg is kind of ok but it even has the notification sound which is very annoying.
Is there a way to disable this notification ? or atleast the sound ?
Hey guys,
today I upgraded my h815 from v10f to v20c.
For me the do not disturb feature is important, because the only kind of notification I want are calls.
But while the do not disturb feature is activated, a very annoying notification pops out at the very top, which I cannot remove.
Is there a way to get rid of it?
Kind regards,
mau
I'm hoping for a way to get rid of this as well.
My ideal setting for messenger is no notification sound or vibration, but just a pop-up of the message preview. This is the way I had it for many months until about two weeks ago when my S9 started vibrating with every message I received. I never touched the settings once after getting it the way I wanted it, and have since looked through them many, many times trying to turn off just the vibration. It seems to me the only options are keep the pop-up message preview with the vibration, or get rid of both leaving just the message symbol in the notification bar, with no option for how I've always had it. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?
I have a problem with the sound notification from one app. Basically I turned on all permissions, auto start, all the stuff I could find on youtube still I don't receive sound and vibration notification from the app. It is a simple app where you get notified with two beeps sound 15 minutes before set time and I have floating notification and visual when the phone is in my hand, but when it is locked it doesn't notify me, it is shown on lock screen but doesn't awake the mobile phone and doesn't reproduce sound notification. Hope someone can help me, thank you in advance. Also on the dropdown menu and lock screen some facebook notifications are cut in half, are those MIUI system problems, or should I consider returning the phone because of some kind of error of this particular phone.

I had a similar issue with notifications and I fixed it by enabling "notification access" to "xiaomi service framework" in system settings. If that doesn't work, I'd try factory resetting.

I don't think it will work, but my question is how to add exceptions to the security and cleaner I assume that is a problem?
Hello
I've been having Notifications pop up relentlessly (full greyed out page) regardless if I have any notifications! Like every 1-2 Min. I've scrutinized settings to solve it.
Any corrective direction would be appreciated.
Same here with a few specific notifications. I'm hoping it's a bug they will fix in a future update.
I guess you can't disable System notifications. Seems to be the source.
Only notification I was getting that was annoying was the T-mobile Diagnostics one, found a way to uncheck that in the T-mobile app.
Mine seems to be related to google home and it finding speakers on the network.
OK
Found a setting in gestures I believe that whenever I swiped up on the side button, it triggered Notifications.
Find it! Uncheck it!
