S4 Mini dead after unsucessful update. - Galaxy S 4 Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My S4 Mini started to update yesterday but it never completed. The phone is now completely dead - nothing ever appears on the screen.
If I connect it to my computer I can see Qualcomm HS-USB QDloader9008 (COM4). This disappears if I remove the battery, but not if I turn the phone off using the switch on the side.
I have downloaded Odin3 V3.09, but nothing appears in the ID:COM box.
I have also downloaded I9195IXXS1AQA7_I9195IOXX1AOF1_I9195IXXU1AOD2_HOME.tar.md5 from droidthunder.com as this appears to be the correct file to install.
How do I get my phone working again?
Thanks
David

In my haste I forgot to post the following information:
Model: GT_I9195
SSN: I9195GSMH
I am connected to the O2 network in UK.
I have now discovered that, when the phone is connected to a USB socket on my laptop and Device Manager is showing Qualcomm HS-USB QDloader9008 as a COM port, if I hold down the power switch for 15 seconds and continue holding it down the Qualcom port disappears from the list. It reappears as soon as I release the power switch.
Does this suggest a faulty switch?

What do you mean by you can't get the driver for Qualcomm 9008 mode?

I have the same problem with my LG. It has red LDI, but I think that's the battery problem. Try to change it.
if you unplug the battery, and put it back in, then hold the up button while plugging in the usb cable, can you get into Qualcom mode? I bricked my phone last week and i was able to get into qualcom mode that way. I then also installed the qualcom drivers and rebooted my pc. I used boarddiag by Willcracker and was able to recover my phone to a boot loop which allowed me to get into Download mode, which I was able to recover the phone back to stock.
Not working for me, still LGE USB Net. When I test point my G3, Windows show notification 'Not recognized'

Galaxy Tab 3 NO Power, boot loops when plugged in. Otherwise nothing Video attached.

Hi all, I've been using XDA for years since the original O2 XDA's and I have never had to post anything as I've always found my solution. I'm hoping somebody can assist me with a problem I have on this stock galaxy tab 3.
The device was brought to me after being thrown down the stairs. I replaced the screen and built it back up,
Removed battery connector and reconnected = nothing happens
Press power = nothing happens
press download mode = nothing happens
press recovery mode = nothing happens
Plug USB into PC = nothing happens on PC or tablet
Plug in USB mains charger and it displays battery charging logo but it doesn't fill or animate the fill then it starts the samsung boot screen. It reboots and continues to do this constantly and never ends.
I've tried two batteries and both batteries work in another tab 3 but neither batteries changed how the device works.
Thank you for any advice in advanced!!
I just received a Tab 3 lite (SM-T110) for repair, it's having a similar problem.
It does automatically turn on when plugged into charger or computer.. It is stuck on a bootloop, requiesting a Kies recovery. It does reboot when given the three finger salute (center button, volume down, and power) - it will not enter recovery mode though - same firmware error message). The device is also full off or full on, no indication of it's it's recharging or no - let the battery run out, it's off - else it's on (does not turn on or off with power button). I don't have any info how it got into this state - most likely power loss during a firmware update, but haven't ruled out other possibilities (ie bad rooting job, a custom ROM upgrade went wrong, etc). I'm not 100% concerned about cause, but hopefully I can unbrick the thing.
Anyways, I loaded Kies onto my computer and put it into recovery mode and plugged it in - nothing. Exit the recovery mode of Kies, and all of a sudden the program goes nuts trying to connect and disconnect from the device. Hmm... Okay, disconnect it, uninstall Kies, install Kies3 and try again - same thing except it complains the device is too old when the program leaves recovery mode - but same thing otherwise - does not show up in recovery mode, connects and disconnects at huge rate when not in recovery mode....
Hmmm...
Now looking at the screen, it does indicate (in the upper left hand corner) that it's in ODIN mode... So my next step I figure I'll try ODIN (although I'm researching ODIN at the moment as I haven't used it before (never had to unbrick anything from Samsung prior to now).
Okay, that was painless - downloaded and installed ODIN 3.10.7, and then downloaded the latest firmware from Samsung, extracted the firmware, added it to ODIN's AP line, then hit start to push the latest firmware onto the tablet. Good as new again.

[Help] Unable to debrick S4 Mini I9192

One fine morning I woke up and found the S4 mini dead. I assumed it was just the battery discharged but it would not charge after plugging in.
When plugged in to USB it shows the QHSUSB_DLOAD so I installed the Qualcomm QDLoader drivers.
But I cannot get the device to Download mode.
JIG did not work, neither did the debrick image. The 3 key combination does not work either.
If I press the Power key when plugged in to USB, I can see the Qualcomm device getting disappear and reappears in a few seconds.
Any other suggestions to revive the phone?
Thanks.

Exactly the same problem happened to me yesterday
Mine is a I9195

LG G3 D855 (ar) brick or hardbrick.

Hi.
As several, I'm having problems with my LG G3
Code D855AR.
Device Manager displays "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" (com7) o (com5)
LGFlashTool2014 shows port (usb or serial) not found
Only with the battery, there is no way to turn it on.
The only time the screen turns on is with the USB cable.
If I connect to the charger, it does not turn on the led.
If I connect by USB + vol I go into download mode.
After the download mode it shows the "firmware update" screen but stays at 0% and does nothing. (just below "user B95").
I open the program Lg Mobile Support Tool and then download the disk (not the cell) the actulization. it tells me the following steps:
1 - Disconnect USB and battery.
2 - Connect battery
3 - Connect USB
4 - Press the power button on the phone for 5 seconds and then press "restart" to update.
Obviously, every time I do that, the phone does absolutely nothing and I start over.
It's been 1 hour since the cell phone no longer responds to the USB connection. The PC recognizes it but nothing more.
Any help will be grateful ... I read several of the aids but as the cell phone does not do half the things I can not find a solution.

Bricked my LGG3

Hello everyone,
so here's my problem:
Wednesday morning i took my phone out of my pocket and had a blackscreen. I tried to restart it and took out the batterie but i always got stuck in the LG Logo or a bootloop. Since i had TWRP and lineage OS installed, i tried to go into the twrp menu with the factory mode (power button + volume down) but after the "double yes" i always got a blackscreen.
So i went into the internet to fix it myself. I tried the "LG Flash Tool 2014" with the kdz. reset & the other Flash tool with the tot. reset. Both didnt recognize my phone. At this point, the only thing that worked was the download mode BUT not the recovery mode that usually comes after it. It just showed the download mode for some seconds and then a black screen. Later i noticed that my phone showed as a "qualcomm device" in the device manager, and the internet said that this was bad. So i used "Board diag" and "Smart boot diag" to fix it, but at the point where the device should have restarted, and the download mode should have worked WITH the recovery mode, i always ONLY had the 6 second download mode. After messing a bit with "Board Diag" i even got it to show up as LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port in the device manager, which apparently was even more bad and only way to go back to qualcomm was to shorten the pins which i did. And it worked BUT now i was back with the qualcomm stuff.
So as you can see, i've prety much run i circles since wednesday... Iam now at a point where 3 different thingscan happen when I try to put my LG into download mode (volume up + usb cable):
1. Its recognized as a unknown device which is constantly connecting and diconnecting, so iam assuming my phone is bootlooping with a black screen.
2. The download mode icon shows on my phone and disappears after some seconds but my pc fails to recognize it.
3. Nothing happens and the screen stays black
When i only connect the usb cable, it shows a stuck charging icon for some seconds and then goes black. Connecting without a battery shows the "missing battery icon". I tried with 2 pc's, both having the LG mobile driver 4.2 and the qualcomm driver installed AND beeing in testmode. Both don't recognize the device. I also tried 2 batteries on my phone but it changes nothing.
I have a D855. And i know that my situation is pretty f*cked but maybe someone i able to help me anyway. Thanks alot.
