How to fix about secondary back camera turning off (disable).
Try to test with CIT mode (hw test) primary back camera turning on, but if i try to test vice camera (secondary back camera) its Will show primary camera, not secondary camera..
This bug always show on miuipro 10, rr rom, but with miuipro 9 its fixed.. Why??? Anyone know this issue???

Don´t know what you mean. The second camera lens on the whyred does NOT deliver any image information and the image from this lens cannot be seen or displayed AFAIK. The second camera is only used in portrait mode to detect the outline of the object to be focussed on. The software is then generating a mask to limit the software blur effect to the areas OUTSIDE that main object.

You may try hw test mode (CIT) then You know i mean.. Secondary camera work or not..
Back Primary camera above side
Back Secondary camera below side
I have same problem..when I choose portrait mode (miui 9 also miui 10......recovery rom also fastboot rom)..it will show pop-up..can,t connect to camera. In CIT mode..twin back camera = fail. Is it hardware problem ?
Works fine for me in HW Test. All cams. Upon first check I had to select which cam app I want to use, selected stock cam.
Edit: just realized you're talking about Error on MIUI 10 and RR... I use MIUI 9.5.13.

the difference is im trying to get it to work om custom rom
i have removed the libs files feom the apk an moved them into the folder insted

Since Google cam is very slow, I will use it to take photos in low light conditions and, OnePlus cam, in all other conditions.
Consider that OnePlus cam does not focusing very well.

Why is it that in the new android on the stock rom for the P2 the sound notification is bugged. I just tripped bad because this is the 10th time at least that when I NEED to be accessible that the phone simply keeps silent while it is IN NOT SILENT mode. And when I put the phone in silent mode that messages come through and my phone makes sound (when I am in a meeting).
It is frustrating like ...Mod Edit: profanity removed... hell.
What is a stable custom rom, I am flashing today got enough of this stock rom. I don't care about warranty anymore if there still is any at all.
Seriously but the software on the Lenovo Z1 was at least more stable.
Unbelieveble that they are able to mess up basically the BASIC functionality of the phone

Which Custom Rom Android Version is stable enough?
- Nougat (nearly everything), then Oreo.
Custom Roms i can recommend:
- ViperOS by BabluS. : NOUGAT
- Nearly all Roms by Subham (Cardinal AOSP; Android Open Source Illusion Project) : OREO
- AOSP Extended : OREO + NOUGAT
- Firehound : OREO
Things to note:
- There are Camera bugs when changing to Custom Roms: Taking photos is normal, but video recording is buggy. Fail Safe app for video recording: Footej.
- Most Custom Roms already have it fixed, so you can use it as a daily driver all the way.
- In-App Video recording doesn't work , e.g.: in Whatsapp or Telegram; to get it working you have to edit the build.prop file. If you need help regarding that, Pm me.
- To get Fingerprint Gestures on Oreo you have to encrypt your phone. On Nougat, encryption isn't always neccessary, like on ViperOs.
I personally am on ViperOS Nougat.
Pros: Stable Connectivity; Bugless as i can tell, counting out video recording; build in- Black amoled mode- use the built-in theming engine.
Cons: Older Android Version, but that's totally unimportant. One-key doesn't work, on any kinda rom. Maybe in the future it will be useable again.
Use it at your own risk! (Don't flash it on any P ROMs）The dtbo.img is extracted from the Chinese version of miui 9.8.15,so you better use version 9.8.15 or later，72hz is the best option，but i used 75hz and it's perfect for me! so what are you waiting for? this zip include 66hz-72hz-75hz

-Open TWRP
-Backup your dtbo partition
-Select the corresponding dtboxx.img,choose the dtbo partition,the flash it
-Reboot
You should see the changes immediately after the restart. It's way smoother than before.
If you want to go back to default, restore your dtbo partition backup or flash the dtbo60

Not sure about 66. But with 72 and 75, green tint is present.

check BSG thread on xda (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/app-mod-google-camera-by-b-s-g.4201665/) there is a link to the telegram group of BSG. Though it says, the v8.6.263 is unstable, it works on poco f4, no config, but everything which is available works for me (incl. RAW, which is important for me), but no other lenses apart from main and selfie. But I don't' use the others anayway.

i have version 8.4.600 and all the camera lenses work... (MGC_8.4.600.A10_V13_snap.apk - is a filename, got it from a friend - i don't know where he got it from)

I didn't realise I could change the lenses, too. I thought it's just some additional digital zoom. it's those three numbers above the zoom button (mine say >0.6 | 1.0 | 1.1<). Thanks for hint.

Whenever I try to use camera it shows black and white I guess camera opens in default depth lense if I want to switch to main lense it doesn't work..the app crashes . I don't have the screenshots right now as I am using different rom
