S9 Dolby Atmos, a kind of problem - Samsung Galaxy S9 Questions & Answers

I am trying for about 3 days to solve this problem.
When i am playing PUBG mobile, or MKX, or another games that needs to play horizontally the 2nd speaker it stops some time, when i put my finger on the edge of the screen, if i remove it it sounds again.
If you know something how to solve this, please notice me, thank you.

[Problem]Stutter/buzz from rear/media speaker.

Hi all.
My GN is going through a rough patch and I can't nail down why.
Basicly, to keep this brief, the rear/media speaker is buzzing, crackling, static(ish) when any sound is played through it. It sounds a little like electrical interference, most of the time a bzz and a crackle.
I also noticed last night whilst watching a youtube video, that video playback freezed during a noticeable buzz from the speaker. Additionally, scrolling through the phone/browser seemed less responsive, slow and pausing for half a second on occasion. I'm unclear as to whether this is me looking for problems or an actual one, but I'm throwing it out there.
I figure the phone is beginning to die on me but I really can't tell if this is a hardware fault or software. I have contacted Samsung and whilst I wait I thought I'd see what you pro's thing.
Running 4.1.1.
I don't mess with kernals.
Installed Volume+ after sound issues to see if I can improve sound thru EQ, but have not increased volume.
I've included a recording of what the speaker sounds like.
Any help would be awesome.
Thanks.
Update.
Reply from Samsung.
Regarding your case, kindly note that the issue reported with the phone
indicates that the phone would need a software reset, or re flashing of
the Software, in order to have it operating normally again.
Please note that what has happened is caused by a minor software
confliction.

What is the easiest way of solving this?
I've tried a factory reset before through the phone menu's and also reset through boot.

Xperia ZL sudden loss of audio

Dear all,
I have my brand new Xperia ZL (model C6502) unit for about a week now. The past few days, I noticed that the sound suddenly "disappears" out of the blue. I can't hear any sound (ie ring tones, notifications, music). Adjusting the volume doesn't fix the problem. Restarting the phone does not fix this either. I even did a factory reset on my phone, but still, the problem persisted. Somehow, the phone fixes itself one way or another. The sound comes back after a few seconds to minutes.
The most significant thing I did on my phone was the upgrade. I haven't installed any 3rd party apps or rooted my phone either.
I have contacted the shop where I bought my unit, and they will check on my unit. Did you guys and gals experience this too?
Thanks a lot for your feedback.
I had this issue months ago on my Droid RAZR. Out of the blue the speaker didn't play any sound but fixed itself after a while. What I discovered it was a hardware problem (funny that it also appeared after upgrading from GB to ICS) with the speaker. Each time I put my RAZR into a case the speaker stopped playing, So I removed the case and pressed with my finger around the speaker while I let it play some music. And at some point the sound stopped. Send it for repair and got it changed for free as it was a hardware issue with the speaker.
Maybe you can try it out on your device to see if the speaker responds on presses around it on the devices back.
Thank you for the feedback. I forgot to tell that the problem also happens when the headphones are plugged in. I noticed while playing music with Walkman app. Suddenly, I can't hear any music even though it's playing.
I have a theory that the sudden sound loss is due to overheating. I don't know why, but I feel that the unit is heating quickly. I'm experimenting on it to see if that's a probable cause of my problem.

Heat would not cause that... Mine can get burn to the touch audio still works..

Mini freezes and sound distortion in games after MM update

Hey there peeps,
I successfully upgraded to Android M yesterday and everything is working great (including the sensors), except for two things, which are the ones in the title on the thread.
After upgrading to Marshmallow I'm experiencing mini freezes and sound distortion in games.
The mini freezes don't last for long (less than half a second), but they can still be annoying, especially since it stops the sound too.
The sound distortion problem only occurs on game SFX (game music works fine) and it ends up making a repeated sound (as if the SFX would be overlapped and a bit robotic).
Also, the sound problem takes place only when I click on stuff, same with the mini freezes, they only occur when the game is loading something after I clicked on a button/opened a menu etc., if I let the phone sit idle in the game, it works just fine, so basically interracting with the game is causing both problems.
A few more things to mention: The problem happens frequently but completely random. Also music, videos and stuff like those are working fine. This only happens in games apparently.
Games i tested this in: Girls X Battle, Bloodline: The Last Royal Vampire and Panzer Waltz
I did a factory reset and same thing happens. What could be the problem?

Audio delay issue

In Youtube app,in any browser, reddit app, mp3 files and android system sounds (pad tones, ringtone) also startup sound starts after 3 second. for example any video starts playing without any problem but sound starts after 3 seconds. video and audio is not desynced just this 3 second problem.
i have all notifications without sound because of this.

Same issues nobody knows how to fix?

My OnePlus 3 is doing strange things

Hi everyone,
Having the OnePlus 3 for almost 3 years now, it started to have some strange behaviors...
First of all, the phone was not able to boot for two times in the last month, no boot logo or any image at all but the phone was heating a lot, and after some time, it rebooted like normal.
Second, sometimes, the phone won't start any apps with sound like games, and on apps like YouTube or Spotify, it won't play video or music.
Finally, when the video / music playing issue appears and I plug earbuds in the headphone jack, strange noises (like a door cracking continuously or something) are coming from them and of course the previous issue is also present, it is very loud and actually I got very scared the first time I heard it
It won't work anymore until I reboot the phone.
Does anyone already faced such an issue ?
Thanks ! :good:
