Working TWRP 2.8.6.0 for ze550kl / ze551kl (Unofficial)

Hello Community,
I am sharing fully working touch twrp 2.8.6.0 for ze550kl, z00ld.
I have ported from other device, any command may not be work.
I have tested most commands & those works very well. TWRP for ze550kl Unofficial link is below

if you want to test recovery then use command

fastboot boot twrp_ze550kl.img
if want to use recovery permanently, then use command
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp_ze550kl.img
if someone had any issue after flashing recovery, stock recovery is attached.

The resolutions are different.
ZE550KL is HD 1280x720 - 267dpi
ZE551KL is FullHD 1920x1080 - 401dpi

- restore backup.

Since many ZenFone 2 models have a planned upgrade to Android 6, could a phone with an unlocked bootloader be able to root Android 6.0 when it is released for the device? (by booting TWRP and flashing Superuser ZIP file)

I use this ZE551KL custom recovery to flash official xposed framework zip and this work perfect , I also flash Dolby ATMOS and flash normally .
- TWRP recovery by @rajlko work fine
- Flash a zip work fine
- Wipe partitions work fine
- Make a backup work fine
- Root by @rajlko work fine
- Official Xposed work fine
- GravityBox LP work fine
I am pending of testing.
- Restore from a Backup

your devices is ZE551KL or ZD551KL?
Z00UD is corresponding to Zenfone Selfie model.

use twrp for ze551kl, it should work.
if not then share your stock recovery.

There are only one TRWP.xxxx.img file on the OP - did you use that on your ZE551KL ?
I am not clear about it - all the other files are .zip.
Which file did you flash on your ZE551KL device ?
With Fastboot, correct?
Update: I flashed the TRWP_ZE550kl.IMG file on my ZE551KL - It booted - but the touch screen is not responding at all...

It has been mentioned already, wrong screen resolution. Use the one for ZE551KL. Read the OP again. If it is zipped, then unzip it.

TWRP working on M2 WiFi

Has anyone managed to get TWRP working on M2 WiFi only model? If yes please share. I got mine unlocked installed the TWRP from X2 forum and when entering the TWRP it got stuck on the Huawei screen during boot.

Thanks, I'm already have a working one. It's this Chinese TWRP with the English language add on. I'm desperately trying to find a rom which is not from Huawei because their original roms are really poor.

You can do a zip installed by recovery?

after flashing with Flashify, my phone reboot and go to download mode, try to remove the batter and restart, still at the download mode, can't get in, any clue ????
*My phone is i9300I, android 4.3, Recovery: TWRP 2.7.1.0

One suggestion I have just tried out that people here might appreciate: Install official TWRP 3.0 via TWRP Manager (install from Google Play). Seems to work without a problem on my i9301i.

I had RR 5.5.8 and I flashed this version but from TWRP site - in this thread meybe is only for KK 4.4.4..
Check THIS and instal img file in TWRP is an option "flash img file" on the right bottom in menu Instal.

I think TWRP 3.0.0.0 works great even on I9300I .

6. The device will automatically enter the TWRP.

Problem with boot.img

Please, I have a problem with my onclite, when I try to flash miuimix the recovery say: "This package is for onc devices, this is a onclite," and the updater end with ERROR 7. But the rom is right.
Can someone post a stock boot.img? Thank you

Try to wipe cache, art cache /dalvik, data/ system n make a format, reboot in recovery n flash miuimix if error persist tomorrow I'll which is the problem...let me know after do what I told u

I have exactly same problem with my HM 7.
I managed to get Pitchblack recovery working, copied the miuimix_ONCLITE to my phone. Started flashing and thats it.
Pls see the attached pics. And yes phone has been officially unlocked
Strangely enough if I check with "getvar all" the phone claims to be "onc" and not "onclite"
Purchased it in Shanghai direct from Xiaomi

Here xiaomi confused cards on table, redmi 7 if u make a getvar all in adb is onc, but call roms onclite. Onclite is redmi y 3 but calls roms onc... anyway i did a thread for last MiuiMiX

Yeah I was confused, because I was unable flash anything with Pitchblack recovery, only solution was use twrp every time. You're welcome
