My HTC one m8 bricked. Please suggest me the correct firmware or RUU. Recovery mode not working. Thank you
Its not bricked, its just the relocked bootloader preventing the modified system from running
Re-unlock your bootloader and it should boot ur modified system

I Re-unlocked. and i tried to boot my firmware. I got replay like this image. Please help me.
i tried this firmware : RUU_M8_UL_L50_SENSE60_MR_TMOUS_4.20.531.4_Radio_1.23.213311491.05G_20.57.4198.02_F_release_420431_signed_2.exe
Image Details.....
Thank you
The pictures don't show. Typing out the error message will work just as well.
Also, we need more info about the device. Do fastboot getvar all, and post the results. Delete IMEI and serial number before posting.
Also, need to know what you were doing when this happened, and what you were trying to accomplish. The OS number being blank on bootloader screen is usually due to using a very old, outdated version TWRP; or some custom ROMs will also make OS number blank.

As you can see in the image,I have recently rooted my htc one m8 (at&t) and then installed a custom rom (MaximusHD 11.0.0) to update my android device from 4.4.3 to 5.0.1.It was installed properly, everything is fine except the wifi. It's not working. What can I do now to make it work again? Thanks to all.

There was a firmware attached to it for download (firmware_unsigned_4.16.401.10) zip file. but I didnt do anything with it.I just put the custom rom in my internal sd card and flashed it. How will I use this zip file? and will I have to install the rom again? Or should I move to any other custom rom?
Thanks a lot & I would be very grateful if the procedures are given !!
Depends if you are s-off or on, depends if the firmware matches your original CID & MID.
Fastboot getvar all
Give the outcome of that command minus the SERIAL AND IMEI !

Note : Sorry if this is unclear i am typing this in a hurry. I will update this post again. Thanks!
Since you obviously don't know much about Android phones, the simplest way for you to fix this is probably via ASUS Flash tool. There are guides on how to do that here on XDA.

Update : Here is my device info. Also, i cant access the oem recovery in fastboot
Hello!
Because I will travel soon I decided to use my old HTC One m8 as an additional phone. I didn't use m8 for over 2 years now so when I started to play an update came up and obviously I followed the update. After that, I wasn't able to turn the phone on. It is stuck on white HTC logo screen. I am able to access bootloader but factory reset or recovery doesn't help. The phone is not rooted, I do not have any recovery tools installed or anything.
I checked a lot of threads on the forum and didn't find the answer. most of the times people were saying to access bootloader and do recovery/factory reset, but it doesn't help.

Not really a lot of options to recover a stock device, if no RUU is available from HTC for your version (which would normally be the tool for an stock device). And not RUU for your version AFAIK.
In that case, the way forward would be to restore a stock TWRP backup (6.13.206.5); which is a rather complicated process if you aren't familiar with modifying the phone. You will need to unlock the bootloader, install custom recovery TWRP, and restore the stock TWRP backup from the collection:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/help/tutorial-how-to-stock-stock-twrp-t3086860
Let us know if that is something you are willing to do. If so, we can give more details on unlocking the bootloader (which is mandatory before you can follow the guide linked above).
(yes, I'm posting on a dead forum) So I need help with my HTC EVO 4G because when I connect it to fastboot, it won't work, and it says unrecognized device, and I'm trying to find a file like PC36IMG-twrp-supersonic-1.1.1.zip. I don't need the exact version; I need the twrp PC36IMG file, and no, I can't do it with img because fastboot won't work unless someone knows how to fix it.

I don't have that particular file, but I do have a stock ROM from Android 2.something.... Would that help?
Is there like a version of twrp I can install without fastboot? if there was it would help since when my phone is in fastboot it won't connect. And I did try different cables and I have drivers.
