can anyone port the oos camera to oreo based custom rom ?
there's a thread about oos camera port but it only supports nougat :crying:
Just install newest version from apkmirror. It works for me on los 15.1

Hi , i have a mi6 running Lineage os 16 based on android 9 and it uses the google camera which is good but it doesn't have telephoto lens support . I was wondering if it is possible to install the miui 10 camera , i pulled the apk and Libs files from another custom rom which had Miui camera in it. Is it possible to install it ?? And how ?

Is there any custom rom based on pie with fully functioning OOS Cam (i mean with portrait mode etc.) just like on Oxygen OS? (Out-of-the-box preferably)
Try Havoc OS
Derpfest has latest OOS Cam with each build release, I believe.

Previous pie version MIUI CAMERA FLASHABLE is working good on PIE based roms.. but not works in android 10 roms
+1 Same here... Camera2API is not enabled in Q roms and GCAM is not available so MIUI camera should be fine for now.. Please help! Thanks!

Crdroid provide oss cam out of the box but I have problem with fast charging, not everyone is effected by this problem only a handful people so can't use it for now.
I have also checked other aosp base rom that provide oos cam but battery backup isn't that good.
Please don't suggest gcam.

you should select a differenti rom (many custom roms have it)
or you can simply install ported gcam
