I use an endoscope camera with my 2Xl for work and it is no longer working with DP3.
I use USB Camera App as my primary app and it worked through DP2 but now it cannot detect the camera. The light on the end of the camera comes on and shortly two notifications pop up: one under Android System saying it is Charging connected device via USB and one under the USB Camera App stating the camera is running. When I click on the Android System it will not let me change the setting from USB controlled by connected device to "this device" and the selections for control of the USB device below are all grayed out. After trying to make the switch to being controlled by the device, it comes up Couldn't Switch.

I think that's just the icon that let's you know USB debugging mode is enabled. Some roms disable the icon as most people who use custom roms leave it enabled all the time.
Oh...I thought it is a great app that many people are using it. Haha! Thank you brother!

usb connected and usb debugging
top left corner are both usb connector and usb debugging icon showing that they are activated. Basicly the debugging is activated in the development section. This is the "thing" you need to activate if you want to push app or other things without loading them on ur micro SD card just by plugging the phone in your computer. Or if you're programming some app without using emulators to simulate the phone.
So i've been using NFC Tags to launch car mode when I put my phone in my car's phone cradle, which activates bluetooth and GPS, as well as brings up Google's Car Home App.
Up until recently, it has been working flawlessly. This morning however I noticed that when I click on the X to exit car mode, there is an ongoing notification on my phone telling me that car mode is disabled, and to touch the notification to re-launch it.
The only way to get rid of this is to reboot my phone.
I can't think of anything that I did between last night (used car mode without this problem) and this morning (problem first appeared). Anyone else run into this issue?
Here is a screenshot of the notification:

I know this isnt a real fix but you could try disabling notifications for the CarMode App
My Xperia S always Notify headphone as connected and it works as if are headphone connected
(i.e) All the actions are performed Like Headphone connected
so I removed My my back cover to test is there any hardware problem
i removed that jack connector and cleant
at the time (i.e) while that jack disconnected for cleaning i noticed the phone still says headphone connected
i rebooted and flashed with that jack hardware disconnected
but still same Issue
What willl be The error????
I can confirm its software issue only because i checked by removing hardware individually

Hi all,
I've a Moto Z Griffin with the latest nightllt installed (14.1+20170905-NIGHTLY-griffin and I've been experiencing a problem with Bluetooth: it just doesn't turn on. If I slide on the right the slider, it stays there but greyed out and where there should be the paired devices I still see "When Bluetooth is turned on, your device can communicate with other nearby Bluetooth devices" (see attachment). If I exit from the Bluetooth page and go back, I see the slider in the off position.
This has been happening since...well, I can't remember, should be 3 or 4 month and I've been using LineageOS on this device for longer and Bluetooth was working properly. I've experienced even on the Samsung S5 with CyanogenMod.
I've tried clearing the cache, adding the line "qcom.bluetooth.soc=smd" or "qcom.bluetooth.soc=rome" to the build.prop file, I've even done a factory reset, but nothing
Has anyone else had this problem and has resolved it?
Thanks,
Andrea

I have same issue on Moto X Force (Kinzie). I will try full revert to stock.
Hi! I have a LG G7 and recently it started showing a recurrent notification for „Power supply - tap to change USB options”.
Also when I connect the charger it won't charge. I have to tap on the notification and choose charging mode to manually start the charging. When I remove the cable, in a few seconds, the power supply notification will appear again.
I changed the battery and the USB port with new ones, bought a new cable and it is the same problem.
Can I use ADB to enter system settings and force charging for indefinitely? I don't use MTP or other USB modes. Also tried in developer mode and after a few seconds power supply appears.
Thanks!
