Hello
Is there a way to stop bank apps from detecting that you're using a custom ROM? Every time I try to connect to my bank app they have to send me a verification SMS with a code that I have to enter, each time it says that I'm trying to connect with a new device and it's really annoying. It doesn't happen on MIUI even when I'm rooted. Any solution?
Thanks!

Hi guys,
yesterday I installed the stable 10.1.3 ROM for my Galaxy N7100, but now I cannot connect to exchange account.
I get to the account setup, enter all the correct data (checked it with our IT guy), press "next" and get an error message: Cant connect to the server.
Anyone can help? I really need it for work.
Thank you very much in advance.

So I finally got it to work - I had to enter the account direcly through email app, not through add account option. Also I ticked trust all SLL certificates and it finally worked.
Hey I have had my N7100 for about a month and a half now and I'm really interested in putting the CM10 stable build on my phone, I just wanted to know how you liked it so far? Any downside besides the listed "no TV out function"?
Good work on the fix also, I'm gonna need mail as well.
So I rooted my Samsung Galaxy tab 3 8.0 (TM310) and started deleting bloatware. I restarted the device after deleting a couple of bloatware and think I deleted a necessary Google app. I kept getting a popup saying "android device manager has stopped working" so I think I deleted that. Being stupid I never actually created a backup (learnt my lesson) and thought if I factory reset the device, I'll have the original apps back; this did not work and created a problem. Now when I try to setup the the tablet, the google part comes up after setting up WiFi and it asks you for your first and last name to personalise the tablet. Considering I deleted an app, it just says android device manager has stopped working and just restarts the part where I have to enter my name. Essentially I can't setup or use this tablet without the app so is there a way to actually get it back? I'm willing to try anything as there is no loss. Tablet is useless otherwise. Thanks for your time!

Hi,
I'm fairly new to the Android rooting community, that said I have been jailbroken on iOS since the days of 1.1.2 and have rooting experience with KitKat. I have a Nexus 5X and after rooting, the phone worked fine. I installed TWRP 3.0.2 and Xposed framework, but for some reason I was unable to get Xposed to work. After a week of no issues with the phone, the Play Store stopped working, and Hangouts failed to send messages. I could send SMS via Messenger app and would receive the replies in Hangouts. I did a factory reset, and now I am unable to do anything. I cannot login to my google account, use the play store. Whenever I do anything I get a message that says:
Couldn't sign in
There was a problem communicating with the google servers.
Try again later.
I've searched the web and the forums for issues like this and can't find anything. I would really appreciate the help. It may be a simple mistake that I made as I am not fully aware of how the Android filesystem works.
Also when I check for updates, it stays that the last time it checked was: 12/31/1969. My clock is set correctly and I am connected to Wifi.
Wow!!! What ROM and gapps are you running?
I haven't seen this since my LG G2 a couple years ago. Hop in date and time in your settings and turn off automatic date and time and manually add it... Unless you're saying its right there.
I would try going to TWRP and wiping.
Wipe/advanced and then check every box except for internal storage. Then hit home and go back to install, choose ROM then gapps then vendor.
Xposed has to be installed as a zip from recovery before you can install/use the apk (in 6.0.1 anyway-use arm64).

Unfortunately I can't use data either since I am unable to activate my project Fi service (since I am not able to make any data connection).
I've resolved this by wiping and installing PureNexus. No idea what was going on with the factory ROM though.

Any chance you changed your Google account password around the time you reset the phone? I think there is some lockout mechanism if they detect password change then factory reset. I believe it is something like 72hour hold.
Hello guys,
I'm having a huge problem with my Oneplus One running LineageOS (Android 9 Pie): when I log into the app in order to retrieve the token from my Bank APP (IWBank), I got an error ("services unavailable, try again later") so I can't access the administrative section of the APP (and handle my money).
I already tried to uninstall and reinstall the App, flush the app cache and permissions, hide the root using `Magisk hide`, reboot the phone, change SIM...
More test has been done: with another Oneplus One (running an old version of Cyanogen) the login works and the token is displayed; the same happens using another mobile phone running the same Android version;
I also tried to create a new user on my mobile phone: the error is shown again!
Is there someone that has a bank account with IWBank and is running LineageOS too or have any idea of what I can try to fix the problem?
Tnx in advance

If i ever have to start mobile banking, i will buy an iPhone.
So I came here looking for some help, I was on YouTube and saw a video from a YouTuber named ETA Prime about a moto g fast and how I let would be perfect for a android emulator device that was 89$. What he didn't say was that you would at some point need to activate it cause a little popup from CDM would tell you that you haven't activated your device yet. I am now rooted and have used apps to freeze/uninstall certain apps only to be met with a "failed to uninstall" message. I don't know what to do all I want to do is use it for games. I assume my last resort is to flash a custom rom..if that's a case what does everyone recommend?
Flash stock firmware did it for me. Still can't activate it but the annoying Boost garbage is gone. I was also able to stop it from alerting me that there is no sim card in the device.
Do you mean were not able to activate due to you flashing a stock rom? Are you able to use wifi?
