Hello guys
I am having terrible difficulty recovering my asus zenfone 2 (ze551ml).
I did all the procedures of this link (https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/general/guide-recover-fastboot-bricked-zenfone-t3284337)
but when it finished the screen with 4 colors appeared and disappeared, and then the Fleshboot mode did not open,
the screen is totally black, I do not know what else to do.
can you help me?
PS: I'm using google translator because I'm from Brazil, if it contains errors I'm sorry
You are in the wrong section...
Anyway, what have you done to brick your phone?

First of all hi to everyone. Im an advance modder of smybian and old SE platforms.
But thing is i dont know nothing about android so,
my first question is can i root my xperia arc..
if i can can someone gives me tutorial and tells me if it is tested..
second question...can we somehow get 2 leds between 3 buttons for notifications such as incoming message, call etc.
I would really precious that.
Thanks
i know nothing about programming but that would be a great idea. The led on the side is stupid and anooying and having front leds would be awesome.
The Arc has been rooted theres a hole page on here that tells you how look under General forum for the Arc thats how I did mine .
Yes please search the forums first..
You can find a step by step guide to rooting etc. with all the details here ..

As for the LEDs,
/sys/class/leds/button-backlight/ might interest you..
Got a notification of a system update, but I cannot understand it because as the screen shot shows, the language is not English. Any info on how to fix it?

There are a couple threads over on the AC forums about several Nexus 7 users getting offered this latest update in Spanish. One poster says he managed to talk to someone at Google, and was told to hold off installing it until they can look into what's going on.

Hello everyone,
I am new with Zenfone 2 and I was eager to explore the phone and so I stumble upon the case where my phone lock screen menu is disable after I install some 3rd party app. (I screenshot the problem but I don't know howto attach it in this thread. I'm so sorry. I'm new to this kind if forum)
I don't know how to enable it back and I am really hoping that 'factory reset' is the last thing to do...
Thank you...
P/S: If you want to see the screenshot, please teach me how to post it in here... Thank you very much.
Hi there, everyone!
First of all, I'm TRULLY sorry if I'm posting this thread anyhow mistaken.
It's way too complicated for begginers like me to understand the right thread or forum to place questions about devices and stuff like that.
I've searched a lot of threads related to my device but I couldn't find the correct answer to my question, so here I am.
Well, let's see: I have an Asus Zenfone 2. Really like it but I just can't stand those ****ty Asus apps that comes in every device of the brand.
Question is: is there any way to flash the stock rom (I REALLY love the features and settings Asus has on its cellphones) without most of those apps (that, basically, just occupies space and memory) or maybe selecting which ones I want to install? That would be awesome and I appreciate any help that might come in handy!
Many thanks!

Hi there, I come to you with a huge request for help. First of all, I'm not a developer, but I know how to google hehe, so I've done my research before opening a thread, I promise!
This morning, my phone wouldn't turn on. I charged it and did the usual (pressing power button, etc etc) but all I get is a vibration and LED, but the screen is totally black and dead.
I've found this bible but A) I don't have windows B) wow, it looks quite complicated for an ignorant like me (at this topic)
Would you guys know if there's a Macintosh version of the process, so I could at least try?
Unfortunately, I just moved to a new country and have not many friends, let alone DEVELOPERS friends hehe.
Thanks a lot in advance

There seems to be a workaround though it may involve a lot of work. See this: https://www.reddit.com/r/oneplus/comments/34ku0o/urgent_hard_brick_with_a_mac/
