Running LeeDroid with volume steps set to 'Finest' (not sure if this is relevant) and the notification and ringtone volumes are still quite loud even when set to minimum.
I like to set the volumes to just loud enough to alert me while dozing but not loud enough to wake me when sleeping. Can't do it
I know I can select different tones and create audio profiles but I want this phone to work how I want it to, just like my good old Desire did/does.
Is there a mod/hack to alter the min/max volumes?
Upgraded to LeeDrOiD 6.4.0 and having the same issue.
Anyone with any ideas? We can control the level of auto screen brightness, can the same be done to control the volume steps?
I can't seem to turn the volume low enough at night to not be disturbing!
Even with the volume at 1 the media playback is too loud. I've lowered the equalizer settings and that doesn't change anything. Back on my vibrant, the voodoo kernel had a master volume gain setting, but I can't find it in saberkernel.
it isnt the cause for music but when using viper it does not change in call volume with that said the lowest in call volume slider still makes it super loud for some reason does anyone have a way to reduce it greatly ?
Helllo experts,
I have just upgraded OP3 to nougat.
One feature of nougat I dont like is :linking system and Bluetooth volume.
Please give a solution to unlink both volumes. So that I can change both volumes separately either one from Bluetooth headset and one from system. Or both from system.
Reason I want: I want my Bluetooth device volume to highest level. This gives me bass sound more.
And if I increase volume now from Bluetooth headset or from android system (mobile) both volume increases and shows as single volume on screen. Keeping volume to highest level gives me too much volume. I want more bass at less volume. Which can be possible if I keep bluetooth headset volume high. And system volume low/medium(adjustable).
Please can some one resolve this. This feature (a problem for me) depreciate my music listening experience.
I don't have this phone.
The option is called "Disable absolute volume" and it is located in Developer options on my phone.
Hi, I upgraded my S10+ to Pixel 6 Pro and now I encounter a new issue, while watching Netflix at night, the lowest level (4%) is too load, and trying and trick it using Volume Styles and other apps on the playstore but it didnt help (even when reducing the level, the lowest I get eqal to the 4% level)
Is there any way to make it lower? (prefrablly without rooting)

In case we are talking about the phones speakers, you could try an Equalizer app and see if changing the Ouput Gain changes anything. But I'm pretty sure that (non rooted) you will not be able to lower the lowest available system sound level.
In case you use Bluetooth - there is an option under developer options called "Disable absolute volume" - that could help you, in case you use a pair of Bluetooth headphones.
"Absolute Volume is an Android feature that combines and synchronizes the volume control on your smartphone and audio devices. This means that increasing the volume of your phone will also increase the volume of your Bluetooth headphone or speaker. This is a great feature, but sometimes it makes the volume on Bluetooth devices unacceptably high, even if your phone’s volume is low."

It actually worked!
I downloaded Music Volume EQ and lowered the EQ levels. It's not the best UX, but it'll do. Thx.
