Even with the volume at 1 the media playback is too loud. I've lowered the equalizer settings and that doesn't change anything. Back on my vibrant, the voodoo kernel had a master volume gain setting, but I can't find it in saberkernel.

Running LeeDroid with volume steps set to 'Finest' (not sure if this is relevant) and the notification and ringtone volumes are still quite loud even when set to minimum.
I like to set the volumes to just loud enough to alert me while dozing but not loud enough to wake me when sleeping. Can't do it
I know I can select different tones and create audio profiles but I want this phone to work how I want it to, just like my good old Desire did/does.
Is there a mod/hack to alter the min/max volumes?
Upgraded to LeeDrOiD 6.4.0 and having the same issue.
Anyone with any ideas? We can control the level of auto screen brightness, can the same be done to control the volume steps?
I can't seem to turn the volume low enough at night to not be disturbing!
Hi, is there a way to make the radio volume louder ?
It's very low compared to MTC Music, PowerAmp or MTC Video.
Tried to play with Factory settings levels but its not even close to other apps level when I make the radio +20.
Is the radio volume dedicated somewhere else , I can barely hear the radio when on highway and its volume is set to MAX.
If I set the level to maximum in MTC Music then my ears want to bleed.
Please help !
In factory settings (PW=126) in audio you can set the volume settings from radio and others
Hello everyone,
Would you please, tell me, if there is anything I can do to have the lowest volume, a bit lower??
It's way too loud, even if the volume slider it's on lowest..
Thank you
I personally use ViPER4Android FX as a Magisk module which allows you to set the Output gain (under Master gate) to as low as -40.0 dB, which is plenty silent.
Just remember to turn on Master power.
Ringtone volume is loud even on minimum setting. It will only go so low. It show go down to silent if you want to. Any way to fix how low ringtone sound will go?
I unchecked the "disable absolute volume" and the volume will go low on Sony wf1000mx4 after playing for awhile. I restarted the phone and the same thing happen after awhile. Anyone has the same issues?
There's two volume controls
One on the earphones and one from the phone itself
I generally set the right hold as volume up, set volume max on the earphones, then adjust the phone media volume, had the same issue till I figured it out

Thanks, found the issue. It is YouTube music equalizer which is causing the low volume. Turn it off and everything works perfect.
Since we're on the topic I have had a difficult time boosting the absolute volume level on the P6P. Is it not simply a matter of adjusting audio policy? Any ideas? I want my max volume to be 50-100% higher in all areas, ear, speaker, bluetooth
