I have the firmware of lineage os 14.1 and TWRP 3.0.2-0, when installing the night assembly of the kali nethunter in twrp there is an error - "Error: Unable to exstract! The zip may be corrupt or your device may not have enough RAM to proceed. Consider using a smaller installer if it is available. Updater process ended with ERROR: 1 Error installing zip file.....". Before the installation cleared dalvik and cache, and also used different assemblies nethunter, including a reduced one.

Hi,
after giving 4.4.2-StockROM a (long) try, I wanted to install [SM-T31X][5.1.1] CyanogenMod 12.1 unofficial build (by tohenk).
I followed the instruction for TWRP-Installation and the one for CM12.1 by tohenk.
Doing so, I installed TWRP via Odin 3.09 (successful).
To root the T310, I had to install the zip "ROOT_SGT3_8.0.zip". (also successful)
Reentering TWRP to flash the CM12.1-zip, I selected the file from internal SD-Card, getting a warning that the file shall not be compatible - having had the same with the root-zip, i swiped to install.
Resulting in the error (got a screenshot, but can't link it - to few posts):
"Can't install this package on top of incompatible data. Please try another package or run a factory reset.
E: Error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard/fw/cm-12.1-20151018-UNOFFICIAL-lt01wifi.zip'
Error flashing zip '/sdcard/fw/cm-12.1-20151018-UNOFFICIAL-lt01wifi.zip"
... as offered by TWRP, i reset the Dalvik-Cache, rebooted. All Apps have been reinitialized, rebooted again into TWRP, getting the same Error.
So I installed philz_touch_6.08.9-lt01wifi.zip - but getting the same Error...
At the moment, I'm stucked with rooted StockROM...
..what did I miss?
(thanks for any help)

Edit:
Found the error:
prepareing the Flash-Procedure, I did a "factory reset" from within StockROM-Settings.
After performing a Factory-Reset out of PhilzTouch and wiping Dalvik-Cache (without rebooting the GT3 after Wiping), I was capable to install the CM12.1-zip, which runs perfectly fine now...
(somewhere it should be mentioned "do the factory reset from recovery, not from within ROM"
tohenk: you did a wonderful Job on the CM12.1-ROM! Thank you!!
I'm having the same issue.... so I installed Philz_touch_6.19.3 but I still can't flash any of the ROM's for T310...
Do you have any suggestions?
My tablet start up to SAMSUNG TAB 3 logo and stuck there...
I'm trying to replace the stock ROM on my phone in an attempt to find out if another ROM has fixed a set of really annoying bugs present in stock. My phone is running the latest OTA from OnePlus (ONEPLUS A3000_16_170610).
I've followed the following steps:
Flash the latest versions of TWRP and SuperSU. Reboot several times.
Disable lockscreen security.
Boot to recovery and do a full backup.
Reboot and copy new ROM and Gapps to /sdcard.
Reboot to recovery.
Wipe dalvik, system, data, and cache.
Attempt to install the ROM. At this point, I get the following error:
Code:
Checking for MODEM build time-stamp 2017-06-27 21:43:31
assert failed: op3.verify_modem("2017-06-27 21:43:31") == "1"
Updater process ended with ERROR: 7
Error installing zip file '/sdcard/RR-N-v5.8.4-20170806-oneplus3-Official.zip'
This example is using the latest Resurrection Remix ROM, but I've also gotten the exact same error from the latest LineageOS.
What's wrong?

Hi, I've been trying to install OpenGAPPS for weeks. I've tried using both Lineage Recovery and TWRP but while both LineageOS and SuperSU seem to install smoothly, I still can't install GAPPS (v9 on ARM64; tried both Pico and Nano) using either method without getting zip errors.
Anyone have any thoughts?
"Error Code 64"
Forgot to mention, TWRP gives me "Error Code: 64" when I try to install Gapps....
Hello I have a problem with the files on my device and it is that when trying to install a ROM using TWRP I get that it has failed and a lot of messages saying:
"Error opening: ´/data/user_de/0/" (Here it puts rare names of symbols and letters) operation not permitted
I already tried to mount the data folder from the recovery and I also tried to install the ROM from ADB commands but it is not possible, this is not the first time that I installed a ROM since I had Pixel Experence and when installing it it did not show me any error and now the Device does not start as it has no ROM and when it turns on it opens the TWRP.
someone could help me with that please.
I'm having problems with TWRP and OrangeFox, permission errors all the time
I'm facing some permissions problems and thus being unable to install Paranoid Android Q5. I was using MIUI 12 (Xiaomi.EU). The steps I took to change the ROM: Formated data (errors started right away) then I did the usual wipes (cache, dalvik...

TWRP 3.7.0_12-0 is installed on slot A and B and remains after rebooting. With ADB I can push files to the sdcard and I can see them under install but I'm not able to install a ROM (error message without any details).
I think something with the partitions isn't ok but I don't know what and how to repair this. In addition to the partitions you can see on the screenshot of the Backup part there are VBMeta System and Super partitions with 0 MB.
Which partitions should be mounted? Only Data is mounted, USB Storage also isn't mounted.
Please post a screenshot of the error message, and say the procedure that you've used, to install TWRP and to try and install the ROM.
I think, I tried everything possible to install again crDroid. So I don't know for sure, which way I installed TWRP (most probably with ADB sideload).
Installing the ROM
- push crDroid.zip /sdcard within TWRP (but not in the sideload modus)
- same with NikGapps an Magisk
- flash crDroid in TWRP
Maybe I didn't see before - today I got the nmessage ERROR: 1
- I'll try to fix this with the help of this article https://www.droidwin.com/fix-twrp-error-1/ but I don't know how to find out the firmware installed in twrp?
Update:
I could install Magisk without problems. Flashing crDroid stops then with: Error applying update: 7 (ErrorCode:: kInstallDeviceOpenError)
Updater process ended with ERROR: 1
