HTC M8s wont start even fastboot aftrer unlock bootloader and flash recovery - One (M8) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I get new HTC m8ql_ul, first i unlock bootloader succes. Then flash twrp-recovery-2.8.6.0-m8s-qlul also with no problem. In TWRP i flash new rom, but gets problems. eg after start didnt see sim card. And after plug to comp, and set data transer not charge pc didn see my phone, also in twrp cant see or fastboot also. I tryed fiew times flash difrent roms. but also same thing : when install via aroma, never get 100% but eg stuck at 30% after fiew sec show 100% and info about succesed flash but stack on HTC logo.
But now when i off phone pressing ~10s power, afrer this push power + V+ and nothing, no bootloader no flashboot no reaction, when press only power phone start display big battery icon and thats its, must ~10 power to off icon, even not plugged to pc.
What can i do? Flashboot didnt see phone. Pliss

for me plugging my HTC one m8s into an wall outlet, and pressing the volume down and power button gets it to boot into recovery, im no expert at this by any means, but hopefully this helps!

Unable to boot into fastboot for custom boot image

I apologize in advance if this a repeat post, I couldn't find any answers and only found one similar thread to this that was still not exactly my problem.
I have an unrevoked evo running 2.2 and I know at one point I was able to fastboot (it's been awhile since I've done anything). While trying tonight to flash a custom boot image, it simply vibrated 3 times and stayed black. The charging light (as it was connected to USB) turned off and my phone wouldn't turn back on normally until I took the battery out and put it back in. I tried this repeatedly with/without USB debugging on, without USB being plugged in and got the same response every time - 3 vibrations, black screen, and inability to turn back on until the battery is removed. When I press vol down + power though I am able to boot into recovery mode just fine. Vol up + power fastboot seems to be my only problem.
Any ideas as to why I can't fastboot but I can access recovery mode?
Thanks!
Volume up and power was removed with the froyo update. Just use vol down and power to get to bootloader and from there select fastboot. What boot.img are you trying to flash exactly? It sounds like you may be doing something wrong with flashing though fastboot or soething. Unless you are trying to use eng commands?

LOL well I feel dumb. Didn't know this was changed. While that did help me get into fastboot now I'm getting an error "FAILED: remote not allowed" but that's another problem that I do see a few threads on so I guess this can be closed.
Thanks!

(Q) HOX doesn`t boot

Hey guys
i tried to get in fastboot mode by holding volume down+power.
it didn't work so i tried it with volume up+power. then it vibrates more intensely and the hboot logo flashes for a second and then it turns off.
i cant even boot the phone right now as it just boots in to hboot logo and then it turns off. i tried also to get in fastboot but in shows up for 2 seconds and then it shuts off.
my bootloader is locked and im on stock
please help me
many thanks in advance
Check if fast-boot in settings is disabled or not. If not, disable it. Then try vol down plus power button.
Does adb detect your phone? Alternatively, you can also do : adb reboot bootloader
Edit : My bad. Saw that you can't boot.
See that your phone is charged and then try vol down trick.
hey
just got it replaced at the store. But thanks for the reply +1

EMERGENCY Brick!

hi,
any help is hugely appreciated.
I wiped my phone in recovery with the option to wipe for new custom rom, this worked fine. when i went to install custom rom it failed and then turned itself off. now the phone just gets stuck at the Sony logo. the only way i can turn it off is via the red button in the sim slot.
I am unable to connect to the computer at all, no fastboot. I'm also unable to boot into recovery to restore.
Please help. Hope i haven't ****ed it up beyond fixing
Thanks
Flash a stock ftf with flashtool (in flashmode). You should definitely get into flashmode and fastboot, otherwise there is a problem with your computer.
Funny, I didn't even know there was a red button Holding Volume Up + Power for a few seconds always worked for me, no matter in which state the phone was.
Hi all,
I've exactely the same problem !!!
My phone stuck to Sony logo, and not reconyze on my 3 PC.... before that, usb connexion work fine on all PC, but now.... nothing
I've just POWER + and VOL+ (its power off the phone), i've no led color light
I've try flashboot, but not detect my phone
i've try to install :
flashtool-0.9.16.1-windows (not detected)
Flashtool-drivers-1.5-20140318 (my computer doesnt not see my phone)
Xperia_Z1_Compact_driver (my computer doesnt not see my phone too)
I can't go into Flashmode...
When i power off my Z1c, and i plug usb + (vol+) nothing appear...stuck Sony logo...
I'm lost... I need your help XDA members ! just U can help me
PS : the red button is in the SIM slot, but i think is same POWER + (VOL+).... its power off the phone
Because you're doing it wrong. Vol+ enters fastboot mode, you have to press Vol- to enter flashmode. Then use Flashtool to restore the firmware.

Cannot boot into download mode

Hi everybody, yesterday I was playing with my old Galaxy A50 trying to install a custom rom unsuccessfully.
I repeated the procedure three times installing TWRP and then Havoc OS but every time I tried to reboot from TWRP to OS I was stuck at the warning screen saying that the phone bootloader was unlocked and booting into download mode to reflash TWRP was blocked as it showed "only official binaries can be installed" (yes I installed Samsung disabler but still).
Still I was able to get the phone into download mode and reinstall the stock firmware as it seemed to be the only way to install and boot TWRP.
But at 4th time repeating the process I got frustrated, shut down the computer and left the phone on the warning screen still connected to computer usb cable.
Then I got back and noticed the phone was off as the battery died.
Indeed the battery died, so I put the phone in charging and after it reached 100% I tried to boot into download mode again to reflash stock firmware.
But here's the strange thing, I cannot boot into download mode anymore as pressing vol up+vol down while connecting usb cable, shows the lightning charge logo for 5 secs and then reboots infinitely with the same pattern.
If I force reboot by pressing vol down+power it shows the Samsung logo with the warning below it, then skips to another screen with another warning suggesting to press power button to continue (which does nothing) and after a while reboots to samsung logo.
So it doesn't seem it is bricked, it looks more like a battery controller fault, so I tried to detach the battery flex from the board, hoping it would reset the controller but it's still the same.
Also I tried with the flex detached and still no download mode is possible.
Was the download mode somehow erased? (if it's even possible considering it's the motherboard firmware)
If you need photos, videos or even a call on zoom, Skype, webex I would be glad to show you
same i got the same problem i can't find nothing for this when i press volume up and down and put the otg cable its simply charges but it gets stuck on the logo image there's no way to fix this but the only way is to open the phone, change the emmc and put one from samsung, close the phone flash a custom rom and you are done.
If you can enter recovery, do it. As soon as your phone gets into it, select the power off variant and then try to enter the download mode.
It seems like you did not unlock the bootloader, did you?
The bootloader Is unlocked i can't enter in the recovery because the phone locks on charging logo and its fully charged but when i try without charger It doesn't start.

Did you try:
Volume Up + Power
Sony Logo
Release only Power until recovery appears?
Another thing you could try is entering ADB mode via Volume DOWN (I think) and using:
Code:
adb reboot recovery
If it doesn't work, see if you can find some Fastboot command that do similar thing. Reboot, restart, etc...
I tried volume up+power, I can do it until the sony logo but if i continue, i got vibration and reboot. I also tried volume down which takes me to the fastboot mode, I can do some commands but most of the important ones are blocked because bootloader is locked, I can give some images later if needed

Try the instructions on this site:
https://www.hardreset.info/devices/sony/sony-xperia-s-lt26i/hardreset-third-method/
If these doesn't work then try getting into ADB mode. If I remember correctly, ADB was Green light and Fastboot was Blue light. Volume Up OR Down + insert USB, selected one or the other.
When my Xperia S was bricked, I remember there was holding Volume Up AND Down + Power until it buzzed 3 times (~10 seconds). At this time my S had JB. On Gingerbread I don't remember ever entering into recovery.
One thing I recommend is to open notepad or some spreadsheet to register all the combinations you try. With TWRP on those newer ROMs the combination was pressing Volume Up and Down repeatedly during boot.
That is weird, when I try to get in adb mode, there is the green light but adb devices don't see it, as the fastboot mode with blue light is recognized. But yeah, i should keep every attempt in notepad or something.

Driver issue most likely.
Try:
Install Flashtool 0.9.18.6
Disable the driver enforcement via the Advanced Startup method
Install the drivers from Flashtool. I checked Flashmode / Fastboot and all Xperia S I could find
Sorry for the responce time, i tried flashtool, i flashed a firmware, it was bootlooping, i re-tried flashing with another rom (ICS 4.1.2) it worked, but now i 'm stuck on the lock screen because i need a sim car pin code but no sim card is inserted.
my bad, there was the old sim card in it
