Since switching from a SanDisk 8Gb class 2 MicroSDHC to a Kingston 16Gb class 10 MicroSDHC (manfacturer part number SDC10/16GB-2ADP) I keep getting problems starting up apps that use the storage slot. For example, when I start CoPilot Live 8, it just freezes and I have to power off the phone, pull out the card, re-insert it and power on again (if I don't re-insert the card then a phone reset doesn't allow me to use the card right away).
Is the TP2 ok with this card, or is the card defective? I don't have problems using it with a USB MicroSDHC adapter.
I might save this card for use with a newer phone, perhaps a HTC Desire or Legend.
I don't know the Kingston, but my Sandisk 16 GB does not make any problems.
I have the SanDisk 16gb and have had no problems at all. Have you formatted your Kingston sd card? Maybe try formatting it on a different computer, or by putting it into a digital camera and using its format function? Hope that helps...

Yes, I've tried formatting the card. It made no difference.
I guess my question comes down to what class card the TP2 supports. I understand that the cards themselves are supposed to be downward compatible with devices that don't support the higher speeds, but some devices might struggle. I don't know what card class is supported by the TP2 (2,4,6 etc). I imagine any class 2 card would be fine, but what is the maximum class the TP2 should be able to support?
I don't believe it's the card because I'm experiencing the same problem. I initially started using the card in a nokia e71. bought the same reader as you: it just freezes and I have to power off the phone, pull out the card, re-insert it and power on again (if I don't re-insert the card then a phone reset doesn't allow me to use the card right away).
I'm using some noname 16gb card I got off eBay. Used it in my Incite and now in my Tilt 2 without issue.
Download trial of Pocket Mechanic Pro and run disk check and for errors. Missing not having two copies of FAT directory onboard causes many problems. Pocket Mechanic Pro is one WM tool really worth having.
Hello, So I just got the LG E370, and was wondering about the memory card limit. Now I read it states that the biggest card it accepts is a 64gb card, but then that ventures into the realm of SDXC. And SDXC has a limit of 2TB, So would I not be able to install a 2TB microsd card (assuming one was able to obtain such a card)?Would it be a software limitation or am I misunderstanding the size limitations of cards. I know SD is up to 2GB, SDHC is 4GB to 32GB, and from what i've ever dealt with, anything that can accept a 4gb can acccept both a 2gb, and a 32gb card. So why would the phone not be able to accept beyond the 64gb while it's still in same format?.
Thanks in advance.
Is there a separate tray for the sd card or does the sim tray double up as sd card tray? which means you can either use 2 sims or 1 sim and sd card, I've not seen any info relating to this online.
Also does dual sim zap battery life quicker then standard model?
Also which models is best suited for EE network?
Currently I'm using UK standard model which i'm quite happy with.
thanks

- Separated trays. Also, sim cards/microsd flap is longer than the standard model

- I'm not sure since I only have the dual sims one. However, If I turn off one sim card, the battery is drained slower.
As the title says
Can I put 2 Sim and 1 memory card simultaneously on the Xperia M5 Dual
I am planning to buy it
Yes.

never mind. dumb ass here. nothing to see move along
memory card goes at the bottom, not top
