NoScript, uBlock, and XDA forum posting - About xda-developers.com

It's been a while since I posted (I usually read more than post), and I had to turn off a few things I normally keep on to protect my web browsing. I was wondering if there was a specific list of settings to manipulate to make XDA work properly.
Today, I had to disable uBlock Origin to be able to post. I had to allow scripts from several domains to be able to post and search the forum. It wasn't exactly obvious what I needed, and for the forum search you have to allow cloudflare before you can allow the search provider.
I can't recall a time I've had to disable uBlock before I could interact with a webform either.
Is there a list of minimum scripting and ad domains?
How are ad networks' scripts/ads related to be able to post?
Reading the forum works fine with no scripting allowed, and ad blocking turned on. I block scripts and malware to prevent malvertising and malware infections.

Same issue with me today. Looks like XDA is using a new login form/method and now I can't login easily like I used to.
I'm using UBlock Origin with Vivaldi. If I delete ALL cookies and try to login, the login process doesn't complete successfully. If I turn off UBlock Origin for XDA-Developers OR I whitelist the site, I still can't login. If I do that and delete all cookies, still can't login. The ONLY fix is to disable Ublock Origin completely, delete all cookies, then I can login OK.
So it looks like XDA has some sort of script that detects if adblockers are in use. Even if you whitelist the site in the adblocker, you can't seem to login properly. I also have anti-adblock killer userscripts and extra integrations with Ublock Origin and I guess neither of those are doing its thing on XDA.

XDA site Malware Warning

I'm getting a malware warning when accessing this site through Google, or when using the search feature - which is powered by Google.
???
Are you using TREND MICRO or AVG? Quite common on them!
I get the exact same thing. When I search for XDA using google, it says this site may harm your computer, and I can not access XDA through google, I have to manually enter the URL. Just started today.
google is doing it to everysite as of now i dont know why though
Google triggers a warning when their site has scanned a domain and has determined that there are threats coming from that site in one way or another. It has nothing to do with the AV package you may be running.
Apparently something is not good. Could be anything from a file hosted on the site to an advertising banner that is distributing spyware etc..
It was a bug, on Google's side - I realised soon aftwerwards when using Opera (in which I use Cuil as the search provider) - everything accessed through Google triggered malware alerts.

Tilt2 web browser site login issues

I just got a Tilt 2 the other day, and this is my first HTC phone. I love it so far, but I am having an issue of not being able to login to any site in the any either opera or IE. It either tells me the login in incorrect (which it is not) or that my session has expired, without ever actually logging in.
I tried to install skyfire, but it will not even run, just returns errors and closes.
Anyone else have/had this issue or know what the problem might be?
I can not login to any site, I have tested 10 or so sites.
I have also tried putting both browers in mobile only mode, with no change.
I actually have two of these phones right now, and the problem is on both phones.
I have the same problem, specificaly with mesh. It states my cookies are expired, even after clearing all cookies, history and browser cache.
I take that back.
Logins for things like cpanel/plesk/billing scripts (whmcs, ect) and web scripts such as WP or Joomla and even Kayako don't work. But I can login to sites like ESPN/Sportsline, ebay, ect.
I take it there is something missing from these mobile browsers that is not passing along the proper info to these scripts that does not allow them to be logged in.
I finally got skyfire to work, but the same logins fail in that browser also.
I even tried to install the beta of mobile firefox (can't remember the code name now), and it was horrid, worst mobile browser I have ever seen.
There has to be a way to change cookie settings or something to allow these type of script logins.

Internet Explorer Profiles?

Not sure if this is possible or has already been done, although I have tried to search for it and no solution was found.
Me and my wife switch phones alot usually for 1 reason or another. We have different accounts on some websites for example google and yahoo. Since most sites these days becuase of security issues don't allow autologin by certain url address like ftp still do, an option like that can' be done. So was wondering if there was some profile app that would make it so that we wouldn't have to logout then login when changing phones. Say when clicc on a bookmark a screen would come up asking for which profile to use or which user settings or something to that effect?

[Bug] constant refresh when NoScript is OFF ?

Hello,
I use FireFox and NoScript, if I allow xda, the page constantly refreshes, I mean, refresh, refresh, no pauses.
Certainly I'm not the only one experiencing this?
Oh, I turned OFF Ghostery as well, same thing.
I use NoScript without problems. I have both xda-developers.com and googleapis.com (used for some JS stuff on the forums) enabled.
Are you sure it's not another addon conflicting? Try starting FF in safe mode, and enable addons one by one.
I have the same issue. I block all scripts on this site by default. However, if I let xda through, it just refreshes... refreshes... refreshes.

Built in adware?

I just read about a find my mobile exploit, and went into settings to turn it off for now.
I look into the Samsung account, scroll down, and see "ads"!
It looks like by default, we are allowing Samsung to spam us with ads so I turned it the hell off!
I still haven't found where to turn find my mobile off yet, but I never installed the app, so we might be safe.
Thoughts?
If you click on it, it asks you to consent to receiving "customized services" (a crap-ton of ads). (I have it unchecked.)
But, I have it installed and tried it out on my computer. I haven't noticed any additional ads on my phone. Just my 2cents.
