I got the same problem dont worry your device is not dead, you just need to flash the firmware. Firmware for 32gb is available on XDA but not for 16gb, mine was 16gb so i just give to LG they flashed the firmware and it booted successfully and it also wont take much time so dont worry

[Success] Resurrect this G3 possible !

Hello,
Now the phone works, so here is the facts and the steps to resolve the problem :
So, I get a F400S who come flashed in F400K.
Then, it was flash in D855 by mistake.
When I started the phone, it got stuck on the LG logo.
If I tried to go to recovery, I was able to ask the wipe but after he returned on the LG logo.
If I tried to go to dowload mode, I seen the "download mode popup", but after it went into fastboot mode.
In fastboot mode, I used a F400K laf image (fastboot boot laf stock-laf.img).
Then, the download screen shows up ! And my PC started to install the drivers for com port.
I put the lg port to COM 41, then started flashtool with this dll : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-H4G_jDRCJwRVhBcFdGVzFjTHc/edit?usp=sharing and F400S TOT (not sure if necessary but this is what i did).
The download failed at 11%, but from this the phone booted in download mode without help ! And PC installed other drivers.
From here, I put a F400K tot with the same tool, failed at 83% but the phone worked.
With the same DLL, I was able to flash stock F400S (failed at 80%+ too).
Then, i rooted the phone, put TWRP on it and flash Cloudy G3.
Phone works like a charm now !
My english is not very good, I hope you understand the steps. If someone getstuck I'll be happy to help him in French (or with my bad English).
Thanks to all !

I can't reach the download mode screen, sadly.
After the download mod popup, the phone start fastboot mode without asking anything.

This phone never had TWRP. He never tried to flash anything on it before that.
Thats bad then.
I believe your only choice is repair. LG box could solve this.
Maybe someone has some other suggestion.
It's an imported Asian phone, it will be too much expensive to send it to be fix.
If someone as another solution (even if is not a free solution), i'll be happy.
Go to a gsm service. A jtag should fix it. It shouldn't cost more than 40$.

Thanks, but never seen a service like this here (I live in France).
Close to zero gsm repair shops here, and the few that exist replace Galaxy / Iphone screen, nothing more.
Anyone know a reliable online shop to send it ?

Did he use a computer to flash?
Or did he use his phone to flash?
If he used his phone to flash then he used TWRP.
If he used his computer to flash then he didn't use TWRP.
He used a computer.
Only fastboot respond but the butloader is no unlocked, so I think the phone is really dead. So sad ...
I'd say your only bet is jtag if you can't get into dowload mode or twrp because you need to be in dowload mode to flash .kdz and twrp for a custom rom

Look on ebay there is some shops offering jtag services which requires you sending your device in and patiently wait at this point you have nothing to loose !

I found one guy in europe on ebay for LGs, i'll ask it if he's able to do it. Thanks.
Edit : Apparently, no jtag for F400s, he want me to pay twice the price for emmc desoldering, soldering and programming with no warranty that works.
So, the phone is dead ...
Thanks all for the informations.

No kdz is available. Your best bet to return to stock is a nandroid backup or one of the stock based ROMs timmytim posted in the development section.
Hard Bricked my lg gpad v410 was stuck in a loop couldn't even get recovery. Caused from using the odex att 4.42 then tried updating with twrp recovery still installed. All I could get was the twrp recovery when rebooted. Next tried stock recovery, bad move, stuck in a bootloop of the lg logo. Recovery gone, reset did not work, download mode worked though.
Used the lg offline mobile tool and found uk41011a.kdz Yay unbricked. Problem is though, its an AT&T tablet with us cellular firmware. My Sim card is now unreadable since it is an att Sim.
Any ideas?
bethnesbitt hey! I really need that us cell kdz can you post it? please? lol

Thanks Thank U and thanks again, I have been searching.
So once I flash the demo I use the same method to flash over the demo by reentering download mode?
Have U been able to update and what are U currently running?
Download
Mine is bricked hard so right now its a paperweight. If you use the UK might be able to work unlocking the bootloader. Just turn off tab, hold, either just vol up or vol down, cant remember exactly then hook to PC. In fastboot do OEM unlock.
If using att then the v41007h will work with your att sim. If its a vzw tab, then get the vzw stock kdz. If its a att tab the vzw doesn't work right, wouldn't waste the effort. I tried and it asked for a PW with the vk kdz flash.

To get fastboot I take it I have to be rooted?
Looking into that now, I bought this tablet with 5.0 rooted with Kngroot and when I ran Super Su that's what bricked Me to here.
This US Cellular from isn't bad can I use their network now?(not a fan of AT&T)
I thought I saw a post that had the actual AT&T kdz however if U say I can unlock the bootloader on here I will stay. Or did U mean sim unlock?

Same issue here. Trying to go back to stock and no luck. I did the debug kdz after the stock rom I tried did an OTA update and got stuck in TWRP. Installed the same stock ROM, flashed stock recovery, and unrooted. Still every time I try the OTA, it tells me I am suspected of rooting. At least it doesn't get stuck in TWRP anymore. There has to be some kind of efuse in this tablet. If not, I still have no idea what I need to get rid of to do the OTA update and get Lollipop.

You may have gotten yourself into the famous bootloop issue on ur device which is G4 famous for.. Its a hardware issue caused by seperation between the joints in the motherboard..if ur in warranty take it to LG if not prepared to spend atleast 200$ to fix it...there is a method also by disabling cores in which u have to be already in lollipop n flash certain firmware...so check these forums on how to disable the cores..also have u tried the cse flash in lg flashtool meaning complete stock try doing that too

if you cant access bootloader take it to a repair shop - you need specialist software and hardware to re-image your phone
how on earth did you do that - you do know to root this device its just a simple zip flashing in recovery mode - no fancy commands or anything required once you have unlocked the bootloader via the very easy to follow guide on the moto unlock bootloader website

If you are using LineageOS all you had to do was just go into dev settings switch root to disable & restart the phone
If you used magisk just use the magisk uninstaller then reflash the kernel
I don't understand why you touched the bootloader partition

Why did you flash ota via adb sideload?
Very bad idea - why? Because I bet that ota wasn't meant for your firmware version
Only ever update your phone through the about phone section on a totally unmodified stock rom with stock recovery
Sorry but you will have to take it to a repair shop to either get it reimaged or get a new board that has the firmware already on it

replacing the entire motherboard.
@CypherPotato You seriously achieved that? They didn't check for BL unlock status?
I just bricked mine, still uncertain what happened, left it doing an update (OTA) with a 30-35% battery... dunno if the battery ran out during the update thus bricking it or the update with the unlocked BL did it.
Same situation as described, no response while connected to the PC only a blinking led.
Checking for battery drain issues (also present in the G series) by letting it charge for a while.
But commom, what Moto have in their heads, replacing the whole motherboard seems quite dumb, releasing the files can't be that hard. Loved my old Nexus 5, hardbricked it like 3 times and didn't take 1 hour to find how to undo it.

Yeah... Motorola sucks until don't released Osprey (Moto G 2015) blankflash files, since the bootloader is locked for an only and one shipped ROM you cannot update in stock rom anymore, and I don't known the risks of re-locking the bootloader inside an non-shipped stock rom. The best you can do is create an system-dump backup before flashing new roms.
Unlocking the bootloader probally will break all device warranties, because you don't will able to flash another rom anymore.
The unique and unknown solution is reflashing the entire device's memory, that we will need to use the Qualcomm's blank flash files and Cedric blank flash files to rewrite the entire internal memory.
The flashing LED only indicates the device failed to start, but he still alive.
