You may have gotten yourself into the famous bootloop issue on ur device which is G4 famous for.. Its a hardware issue caused by seperation between the joints in the motherboard..if ur in warranty take it to LG if not prepared to spend atleast 200$ to fix it...there is a method also by disabling cores in which u have to be already in lollipop n flash certain firmware...so check these forums on how to disable the cores..also have u tried the cse flash in lg flashtool meaning complete stock try doing that too

Recover on from bootloop on H815 EU

Hi guys,
Yesterday I got sweaty hand palms.
My EU 815 G4 is unlocked, the official way, and I had rooted it.
Then I tried to install xposed from twrp and I did something wrong, and ended up in bootloop...
I have just updated to v20b before, and forgot to connect the phone to the PC, and allow the PC debug access before installing xposed, so i could see the phone in ADB mode, but couldn't access it.
Of course I hadn't made a backup before this - I like to cry
Just as a desperate try, when everything else had failed, i thought about using the new tool provided by shakeyabooti LG UP to flash the factory KDZ all over
I put the phone in SW. update mode by:
1. Turning off the phone
2. connecting USB cable to the PC
3. Press and hold vol. up while connecting the USB cable to the phone
Then i downloaded the v20b KDZ file, provided by Autoprime (since this was what i where allready running)
Opened LG UP, loaded the H81520B_00.kdz, marked REFURBISH
Lastly i pressed "Start" and waited for about 15-20 minutes and "TADAAAA"
The phone where up and running again... only things lost where root and TWRP
- Sharing since I'm properly not the only one ending up in this kind of mess
Just tried it no luck :/
So just to confirm...unlocking bootloader official way does void warranty and we can not send it in for repairs?

Indeed. Maybe you'll find a cool employee at your vendor who will still do it, but your warranty is definately void and they don't need to do anything. Depends on how acommodating the employee is. If you're stuck in a bootloop @rakinisbat just follow the steps in this thread.
And please keep in mind that there's a way to get out of bootloops 99% of the time (in fact 100% if it's a software related problem), you just have to do a good search on xda. Furthermore there's an uninstaller app for xposed in the official rovo89 thread, which you can flash via recovery and it which undos the xposed installation and your phone will boot fine (if you can access TWRP - just flash it). If you have further questions you can PM me, always happy to help

Thanks Mate, I guess ill have to try my luck with LG,
I have that batch of H815 with the faulty motherboard, unfortunately I'm in that 1% *Sigh* :crying:
Tried literally everything i could with the software, pretty much confirmed it is the motherboard.
It looks like the KDZ is flashing properly, as LGUP shows whichever kdz i put on, but the actual hardware is not capable of booting into the OS.

Oh yeah that really sounds like a hardware problem. Damn it LG! But is your bootloader still locked? You might have a chance to get a new one if it is And if it's a hardware prob you still have your warranty, haven't you?

Nope, my bootloader is unlocked, im a flash-a-holic, longest i have lasted without rooting or unlocking a bootloader is about 2 weeks. I would have never imagined such a massive hardware issue with a flagship phone. I'll probably get a nexus 6P atleast it has better support than a LG. I'm in Australia, I imported this phone when it was released, so i have to send this phone overseas if i want it repaired, which they will most likely deny.
Sooooo over LG now! There are like hundreds if not thousands that are effected they are not even acknowledging it or providing a viable solution.

Haha! I can completely subscribe to the flash-a-holic  Well ok. So it's even worse than i thought Sorry for ya. At least you live on a continent everyone here desires to go to  Going to Australia is very popular in germany But sorry that you're experiencing trouble with your LG. Good luck with that nexus - it's an awesome phone, too. Bye bye
I've got the bootloop issue. Phone was turning on or not, just vibrating etc. I've dissassembled it, assembled again and it started working don't know why...Now I've flashed CM I was on Genisis ROM earlier maybe that was the issue

It doesn't matter what firmware you have got. Bootloop is happening because of hardware failure.

LG G4 bootloop, is there a way how to fix at home or ?

Hi there,
I know there are many threads and many possible links around the internet but are there any way how to fix LG G4 boot loop at all?
My guarantee doesn't exist as I bought my phone off the eBay and LG doesn't care.
I have found there are guys on eBay that can 'fix' phone but on forums, everyone is saying that is not possible unless you change motherboard...
any ideas?
AFAIR somewhere here is a thread that someone dismantled lg g4, removed motherboard, covered it with alu-foil & then put it into oven for some time. He wrote that it fixed the prob. Fortunately mine was 1st time replaced whole, 2nd time only mobo,&desperately waiting when it bootloops 3rd time-newer again LG

You have twrp installed you should be able to boot up with a couple boot codes in its terminal if not you have too flash a boot image with lgup
So are you saying that I could use twrp ? What would be the point to to flash a boot if it's not going any further ?
I was doing a deep research and it seems that people are fixing their phones using this guys tutorial - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbJXwPmbXFc
The only problem that I have is that I cannot boot into download mode..
anyone?
what version do you have?
Not sure, as I can't go into download mode. I am giving up with this phone and not going back to LG.

Yes, downloaded LG Flashtool 2014, downloaded kdz for Poland H81510E... and it won't work.
I'm booting phone into download mode, and i get info that "Update stopped due to an error".
Did i'm making mistake in kdz or what?
Try LGUP and flash a v20 kdz.

Well, thanks guys for advices, but i decided to put my LG to service on Monday 6th.
I got it back today...
... with changed motherboard and new battery and with new warranty
As for me, LG bought today a new very loyal customer I was a bit shocked, cause i thought that repair will cost me around 200 PLN... well, fools are well protected by higher powers
Therefore, i think that this thread may be closed

i bought an LG G4 with a model number of h811 but with sprint serial number

Dear fellow XDA members i bought an LG G4 H811 and when tried rooting it with no luck by pure luck i noticed that the serial number starts with ls991... Now the rom is 20R as a normal T-Mobile phone ... Anyone faced this issue before ? If so how do i root this phone ?
Thank you

first you dont know what you have.. i suggest to open the phone and take out motherboard. see plaque model if it says h811 then you have h811 if its says ls9 then you have sprint.. thats the only way. they maybe edited software easy to do.. but you can not change model in plaque ..

Same issue here but my phone is a refurbished f500l
I suggest you to not customize anything because there is nothing good when it comes to customizing a refurbished phone even flashing official kdz just let it go or you would be in your worst case of customizing
But if you insist you may want to search about qualcomm 9008 mode a little
Best wishes.

I have battery issues too its lg bloatwares but you should have root to modify system and remove crapware(some of them can be disabled through apps menu)
First, try some apps like kingo .etc and see if those apps work because king root worked for me when i had h811 10n rom however its super user app is nothing but bull****...it will do the trick on the other hand.
Second(which i really dont recommend),try low effort root and injecting rooted system with send command and adb search for it in this forum and you will find it.
What i strongly recommend is getting along with it
Because this phone does nt worth the hassle to modify any thing on it if you have a refurbished device
Peace✌
