I was going to flash the May update today but if you click the "Acknowledge" button it just refreshed the pages and doesn't allow you to see the factory images, at least for me. Is it down for everyone?
Just tried it right now and it's the same thing for me :/
I think I found a workaround by opening the code of the site. Does this link work for you?
https://developers.google.cn/android/images
Both the factory images and the ota sites isn't working for me. I acknowledge the TOS and it just goes into a loop asking to acknowledge the TOS again

This worked for me, thanks.
Tried them and no go at the moment....
I am on P-Dp2 and I had issues downloading the P images for a couple of day. Then it starting working.
Yes I just checked https://developers.google.com/android/images and select Acknowledge and nothing.
Could be that they are updating their servers?
Something I saw on a Google forum that worked for me on Firefox is to use a new "private" or "incognito" window.
Yes...imploded.
Disregard....apparently IE works just fine. All other browsers broken...way to go google.
Incognito on chrome works fine.

I am running WM6 and trying to open links in mail. However, when I click on the link I receive this messge:
The file 'http://google.com/pda?hi=en&q=Live%u0020Search' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its coponents cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file
My default browser is IE and I do have opera installed.
Also, this does happen if I set opera as default and try and do a search on my live search on today screen.
Any Suggestions?

Try uninstalling Opera and see if problem persists. I had a problem with links in outlook trying to open in Opera and not being able to. Uninstalled Opera and all was well, have not gone back to Opera since.....
I had the same problem with Opera and this issue also. Interestingly it didn't happen with the 8.65 beta - only with my paid for 8.6 version. My first beta expired a couple of days ago so im going to try the latest beta which runs until october - http://www.opera.com/products/mobile/products/
i had that problem google xda for hack live search and use the google link that sleuth posts in that thread or use shadowmites htc custom. I use opera with mine and it works great.
No dice
Hi, I took your guys advice and upgraded to Beta. It helped with the live search on my today screen, it opens with opera. However, I tried opening links in e-mails and now I get this.
The file 'Opera Launch' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its coponents cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file.
I realize this seems to be a tiny problem, but I get tons of links which I need to open in mail and need to figure out a solution.
Thanks guys for all your time and help.
As you might have guessed from the title of this thread, I can't get Flash to work in the browser.
I'm running CM6, latest version. RC 3, build FRF91. Baseband is updated to 2.15. Everything works as it should as far as I can tell.
I've installed Flash from the market, uninstalled it, rebooted, reinstalled, rebooted, uninstalled then reinstalled, rebooted, and various other combinations of the above. I fixed permissions with ROM Manager as well.
Whenever I hit a Flash site in the browser I just get the stupid lego-block looking thing with the question mark on it that's indicative of a missing plugin.
Is there something I've missed or that I'm obviously doing wrong? I haven't had my DINC very long and I'm still learning the ins and outs of the Android OS.
I tried searching these forums and saw something about a cooked version of the Flash .apk that allowed Hulu to work. Is there a version for the Incredible that works?

I'm in the same boat and looking for the same answer. I'm going to follow this thread and hope some one comes along with some guidance.
I know that there's a version that works that comes from the SkyRaider ROM. I believe it's a beta version though.
try this http://www.megaupload.com/?d=LCLJY2D4 you most load to pc first then drag it to your sd

Downloading now, I'll give it shot and see what happens.

Hot ****, Upstreammiami's download link worked. Flash sites are working fine now. Hulu tells me that my platform is unsupported but at least the site loads. Maybe I'll give Dolphin Browser another shot, see if that works with Hulu.
Thanks!

Hi there,
I tried seraching around but couldnt find the answer to this question.
I'm running stock browser with my S3 on stock rom
Recently when i set google.com as my homepage and when i open a new tab, it would continuously refresh
I find that this only happens when im signed into google.
When I'm not signed in to google its fine.
Does anyone know what the problem is and how to resolve this?
thanks!
This must be a fairly new issue since i couldnt find anything online
and this thread has recently popped up
http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-razr/231264-browser-acting-crazy-2.html#post2339694
I joined to see if they had any solutions.
erasing history and cache wont help
bumping this thread.
Has anyone experienced this or know the solution?
I know you can by pass it by
- Go to classic mode
- Go incognito
- Use chrome
- If u enter google image search signed in, it wont refresh either
- sign out
- dont set ur home page to google (dont ever go to google home page)
but they are no solutions.
Same problem
I just started using the stock browser again because chrome is crashing and I keep getting a refresh loop on normal (not incognito), but only when I'm logged in. Maybe this is something to do with a CM10 update because all was fine before.
I too am haveing this issue.I tried everything to try to resolve even a full wipe and reinstalling ROM and gapps again didn't help.it seems I have to just stay signed out..

i dont think its a custom rom issue
im running stock everything essentially and i still have it
i read somewhere to take out battery and sim and put it back in, then it will work. i have yet to try this, but it wont hurt to give it a shot
same problem, no solution
Problem has began Saturday 1 December late afternoon
Same issue.
I've clean history and cache browser, hard reset the phone but the problem is still present.
It affects Miui browser and Dolphin.
No problem with firefox mobile or chrome.
Very strange, no solution till now.
Thank you.
UPDATE 2: The problem is back again. I did a factory reset yesterday night and restored my stuff and everything was working fine. I woke up this morning and the problem was back just like before. I'm at my wits end here. I may try to factory reset again later, but I'm not that hopeful. Please reply if you have the slightest clue on what to do here.
Hello, I just rooted my phone using one of the new methods of rooting without downgrading. This is the thread I'm referring to: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/guide-root-method-lg-devices-t3049772
So, after that whole process, I did manage to successfully root the device and that it working fine. However, now some of the google apps cannot connect to the internet. (Gmail, Play Store, Chrome) Heck, even amazon app store can't connect. Also, when I click on some of the ads they don't connect either. Now, I know for a fact that I can connect to the internet. Some apps like reddit news, google maps and such are working just fine. Also, with youtube, I can't see any of the thumbnails for the video but I can watch all videos just fine.
So the issue is when I open chrome and go to a webpage it gives me a proxy error: ERR_PROXY_CONNECTION_FAILED. I don't use proxy server. I also check in wifi setting that proxy is set to none. The same problem occurs when I disconnect wifi and use data. I have tried many of the basic solutions like deleting and re-downloading play store apk. I have cleared cache and other basic stuff.
Please help me out, I really don't know what to do here. Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that google maps works. Also, I just downloaded firefox apk and tried to see if firefox can connect to internet. It's getting the same proxy error as chrome. Now, I'm starting to freak out a little.
UPDATE: I just went and factory reset my phone, everything is fine now. I honestly don't know what happened and why, but it's fine now so I guess its ok.

Thanks but unfortunately Dalvik clear didn't help either. At thing point I'm considering factory reset but I'll wait and see if anyone else has another idea before I need to go through full wipe.
The problem is back again, great.
Just wondering if anybody has tried it since there are no posts. I wanted to see if anybody knew the changes.
They started rolling out, Amazon hasn't published download links yet (in case s#it hits the fan), so we will have to wait a little bit longer for qualified answers...
I have no intent to install on my device, but let's see what the changelog will tell us.
edit: BIN file download is available... Thanks to russy23 & wjchen0 for posting the updates. :good:
(Just got home from work and saw the links, nice work.)
I hope the update has a patch for the mms bug called Stagefright.
not sure about the changelog, but this page has the updates
http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201607550
Well, after the update a warning symbol with the message "Error" appears to the screen.
Now if I try to turn on the device it boots in the recovery mode and nowhere else.
Thx Amazon -.-

I Fixed the problem, I've done the wipe and the factory reset from the recovery. After that i've sideload the update from the pc to the adb fire phone console.
It Works

The Bug is possible only with the processing of mms information by Hangouts.
The Fire Phone, doesn't have Hangouts, so it probably wont be infected by the malware.

It's not just hangouts that was affected by stagefright. Stock messaging, Facebook Messenger and whatsapp could also trigger it. To my understanding.

thanks for the link.
Updated the 461013820 rom to 463001420 without any problem. non-rooted device with google play store installed.
The latest software version includes bug fixes.
this is what Amazon said about the new update, well i have to say more:
They fixed the bug of the AID Mode during the call, FINALLY!
They improved battery life. I say this because i've noticed a little improvement on the battery life.
They didn't fixed the bug of the headphone (When you disconnect the headphone while you are listening something such as Youtube, Music etc. If you replug the jack, It doesn't work anymore until you restart the device )
Did someone find anything else?
4.6.3 just being installed on my UK O2-locked Fire Phone (463001420). Looks like the download link is already up on Amazon UK - http://fire-phone-updates.s3.amazon...update-fire-phone-33.4.6.3_user_463001420.bin
I guess my phone tried to update last night... I woke up with my phone stuck in recovery, just continues to boot there... factory reset did not fix.
Help!!
if you are rooted, do you just loose root? Re-root after the update? Thanks.
Just got the OTA update not a big file at all
Installed the google apps..and so far so good
So for those who are wondering, after sideloading through adb, I was able to reroot using kingsroot and was also able to install safetrap and use it.
Any noticible changes??

thanks for the link. I noticed the 4.6.3 update is only for the unlocked version, while the AT&T version is still 4.6.1. When Amazon released the previous 4.6.1 update, they released versions for both AT&T and unlocked. Weird.
Same issue as ediebol reported. Stuck in Recovery. I've done the wipe and reset with no luck. Attempting to sideload, I get the * cannot read update.bin * error in ADB. File is copied to the ADB directory so it shouldn't have any issues finding it.
Anyone have any other ideas?
