I have updated to 5.0 and now I want to unlock my Note 3. I've tried the "*#96..." method but I don't have the UTMS in my menu. I've tried to use the Regionlock away method but that did not work. T-Moible refuses to give me the unlock code because I don't have an account with them anymore (Thanks to MVNO) and Samsung says that only T-Moible can unlock it. Any help out there besides paying astronomical fees for T-Mobile Unlock Code?
Have you tried ebay for an unlock code?
Here's an example: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/UNLOCK-CODE-...276410?hash=item35f405a17a:g:buMAAOSwVL1WFWUj

Something sounds "fishy" here.
Unlock eligibility for Pay in Advance (Prepaid) phones, tablets, and mobile internet devices
The device has been active on the T-Mobile network for more than 1 year on the requesting line.
If the device has been active for less than 1 year on the requesting line, the Pay in Advance account associated with the device must have had more than $25 in refills for basic phones or $100 in refills for smartphones or tablet since device first use date. $100 in total refills is required for each device that is requested to be unlocked

This site worked thanks
Hello,
I am thinking of buying a s20+ that has a unpaid balance on Tmobile, so I assume it's locked.
What's the extent of this lock?
Can I just flash the u1 to this phone to use Verizon Wireless?
Any chances I could unlock this phone? Is it impossible? I've seen some websites that claim to do it but most of them look like scams.
if you find a good service please let me know)
my motorola does not receive a message to enter the network unlock code(((
...i just wondering if it is rootable? ...any one unlocked bootloader?
Total wireless and tracfone variants are not bootloader unlockable. Never will be unless a exploit shows

Let's hope a root exploit that doesn't require an unlocked bootloader appears then, that sucks and I wish I had known before I purchased mine
I found a workaround that let me activate it on AT&T Prepaid (and presumably the rest of AT&T), I will also see if I can try to get it working on Verizon as they have the best coverage in my area

That's what moddable means yes
I have had trouble figuring out what "Unlocked" actually means.
Before purchasing a phone, I need to make sure that LineageOS can be installed on it right after purchase.
I do not want to wait a year to have access to what I just paid money for. I do not care for having a phone number or texting as I do not use those services. I do not care about having a carrier or sim cards.
Would a network locked phone prevent me from unlocking the bootloader? I have heard some manufacturers do this. Could I flash LineageOS on a contract phone I am paying monthly for (probably not). I am looking at the OnePlus N200. I have a budget under $200.

I'm trying to do this to an old Galaxy S5 (G900F in UK) and can't install the bootloader. I believe this is down to being looked to EE mobile. If so then I suspect you'll have the same issue.
Has anyone successfully unlocked an a54 5g with the OEM unlock feature missing in dev ops recently? Prior to metros standard wait time? If so, could you share how it was done, if not, can anyone verify that it can be unlocked with a paid service, if so, which service, picked it up for 49.99 on a 40 month plan, I can wait it out but don't want to if it's possible to do it myself or the pricing is reasonable, only interested in verified information about this exact model, have already read all the suggestions and ideas and other stuff, much appreciated.
