My OnePlus 5T is running Oxygen OS 5.1.1 on Oreo 8.1. My phone sometimes doesn't get properly locked upon pressing the power button. Anyone can open it by just swiping up.
I have to tap on the lock button on the screen in order to properly lock it. What should I do to fix this issue? My phone doesn't have smart lock enabled at all.*
When I go to Settings > Security & Lockscreen > tap cog next to Screen Lock > it says immediately lock after sleep.*

My wife's SGS3 has a strange lock screen freeze issue I'd like your input on.
How the lock screen is supposed to look.

How the lock screen appears when the freeze problem arises. I can't input the unlock pattern since the input dots are moved partially off-screen to the right. The screen is unresponsive, so the only option is to turn off the phone and restart using the power button. This happens about once a day. Any thoughts?
Looks like it's displaying the landscape config. See if there's a setting to turn that off for the lock screen.

Hey guys, has anyone had this issue? I've had it since I got the oreo update. Basically my back, home and recent buttons aren't centered, and when I click on them it's kind of like they aren't actually where they appear to be. Sometimes they're to the right of center, sometimes to the left. I'm running stock and just tried a factory data reset to try to fix it and it didn't.
I've attached a screen shot to show you guys.

The buttons move from time to time. That is intended behaviour to reduce the risk of burn-in.

Thanks! That's good to know.
Hi to all, I have installed lineageos 16.0 (sanders) with open_gapps-arm64-9.0-stock-20211016 for my XT1805.
The default home screen has a strange problem, that is, the notification area where the date is present always remains active, as you can see from the image. though I have disabled any of the recap items from the home screen settings (Goolge Pixel Launcher)

I haven't even found a new launcher that installs on this ROM, tried to remove com.opengapps.pixellauncheroverlay package seems nothing has changed. uninstalling nexus launcher crashed the home screen...
Does anyone know me how to cope with this problem?
I was trying to get Termux power menu device controls to work and encountered this issue seen on screenshot.

The same issue occurs with Google Home.
Does anyone have the same issue or have any idea how to fix it?
Google Home adds controls to the power screen for me. I'm on firmware 62.0.A.3.163.
This comes up for Google Home as well.
I'm on firmware 62.0.A.9.11
Termux shortcuts show up fine for me on 62.0.A.9.11. Did you put your scripts in $HOME/.shortcuts?

Click to collapse
That was the issue... I'm dumb
Hi, I am testing latest A12 firmware (upgraded from A11). Can anyone explain if the left screen (one that is symbolised by little hamburger icon on 2nd screen) can be turned off? I deleted all "stories" from there but remaining elemnts persist and I'd like to get rid of the whole screen/desktop as it's useless for me. TIA.

Hi, just go to Home screen & Lock screen settings and disable Smart assistant
You can't. I have the T-Mobile version updated to Android 12 and OnePlus took away the option to turn that screen off.
