P5210 (SGT3 10.1) Green animated charging icon missing - Galaxy Tab 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Recently I tried to upgrade my P5210 from 4.2.2 to CM12.1 5.1. The update failed because I could not get past the setup wizard. I decided to recover back to 4.2.2, but that failed. The recovery loaded but the tab was soft bricked. It would only boot into recovery (TWRP 2.8.6.0).
My recourse was to use Odin and flash P5210UEUANB2_P5210XARANB2_HOME.tar.md5 into the Tab. This was successful and I was now back to stock. I flashed TWRP, then performed a recovery of my last backup. My Tab was now back to the way I had it before trying the CM12.1 flash.
However, there seems to be one thing missing. Before flashing CM12.1, when I charged my Tab (with Tab power off) there was a green (or was it blue?) animated battery displayed. This would give me an indication of the state of charge. Now that I have flashed OEM, rooted, and restored, the green animated battery state of charge icon is missing.
I am wondering if this was some app I installed and forgot about, or if it was a part of the OEM flash and somehow is not being activated.
Does anyone here know about this green animated state of charge icon?
Thanks in advance.

Some roms don't have that display ,its completely normal whether you charge it powered on or off it will charge normally

Recovery Issues & Battery Icon with Circle in it But Charging?

My S4 is off, plugged into the outlet with the battery showing with a white circle in it, but there is no green shown filling the battery.
*I'm not sure if the battery is charging, although when I plug it in, it does vibrate for a second prior to the battery icon showing.
If I turn the S4 on, the Samsung Logo shows but doesn't boot up.
If I plug in to charge it no battery icon appears like above.
Prior to the above issue, I had TWRP installed and everything was working well.
I flashed OUDHS Recovery via ODIN and showed Pass, but when it booted up, was stuck on the Samsung Logo screen so I pulled battery. I then went into Recovery mode and made a Nandroid successfully, but when the S4 booted up, it was again stuck on the Samsung Logo screen.
I then installed TWRP via ODIN with same results re: the Samsung Logo screen during Booting.
So at this point, the S4 is off, plugged into the outlet and the Battery is showing with the small white circle in it.
I am able to get into ODIN mode but the last I saw b4 the battery issues occurred, I had only 51% juice left. Would be less than that now.
I was thinking to flash a stock image, but am not sure at this point.
Any help is appreciated.
Update:
I'm thinking to flash the stock firmware below, but I'll wait 'till I see what others think, and until it downloads, which will be over 2 hours.

The vibration feels stronger while checking the S4, so it is most likely charging but not showing it.
1hr to go and I'll flash the stock image via ODIN.
ODIN back to stock Success!
Now to Root, and have a drink
I just found out what started this fiasco.
It's called being a Dumbass
I had installed TWRP via ODIN, the Verizon version
That's why my Recovery Borked.
Prior to OUDHS, I had TWRP installed via GooManager.
Soooo......maybe my experience will help others in the future

[Q] Charging Mode Broken

Hello,
I've got a Problem with the charging Screen when the phone is turned off:
The first time I installed KitKat Version of Android on my phone, there was an error and I had a corrupted System and recovery. So I installed the new bootloader and TWRP Recovery again and restored my backed up Rom.
Everything worked again, except the charging Screen that appears when you plug your phone in, while it is turned off (battery with black Background). It only Shows the loading circle and freezes then. If I hold the power button it doesn't turn on, but restarts the charging mode and freezes again.
Is there any way to restore a functional charging mode Screen?

I had this problem when I installed an AOSP Rom. Does your backup include the system partition?
If not, reinstall stock Rom or any TouchWizz Rom.
Hope it helps. ^.^

[Q] Powering on after plugging charger even with stock KK bootloader

This has been driving me nuts for the longest time now: My P600 automatically powers on and starts to boot whenever I plug in the AC charger, meaning I can't charge it while it's powered off. The battery icon shows up for a second and then goes away, followed by the boot animation.
I'm aware this is a known issue when making the jump from 4.3 to 4.4.2 (that's when it started to happen anyways) and the recommended fix is to flash a stock KitKat ROM to get the KitKat bootloader, but I've tried that at least three times by now and the problem persists, which is really frustrating.
The first stock ROM I tried was the Mexico CNF1 version after fully wiping. I also ticked the "Phone Bootloader Update" option in Odin. Then I tried the Cellular South CND2, but that was also to no avail.
I don't know what to do now. I might as well try downgrading if nothing pops up. Could somebody help me out?
EDIT: Additional info, I'm using TWRP 2.6.3.3 to wipe system/data/cache/dalvik and Odin v3.09 if that helps any.

Not your Usual Boot Loop

Hi Guys hoping someone can help me out.
One of my friends who should know better decided to try and flash a custom rom to his N7105 trouble is he used a n7100 twrp which apparently installed and then tried to flash a n7100 rom .
Now his phone is stuck in a boot loop, it sometimes gets as far as the animated boot logo with the blue led pulsing depending on what I last did to it lol. I can get into both download and recovery and the power button isn't stuck.
I don't know what stock version the phone was one when he started messing with it and he is vague about everything HE tried to do to fix it before I got my hands on it. Its entirely possible it was on 4.1.2 to start off with and he's tried to go straight to lollipop does the 7105 need to update in increments? or could he have put a n7100 bootloader on somehow but flashing stock via Odin should fix that right?
I have a memory of people having this sort of problem years ago with HTC and it ended up being a mismatch between the modem and baseband versions or something like that, thoughts?
Here's what I've tried
Odin flash CF-Auto root as it restores stock recovery at least now the PC detects it as t0lte not t03g
1) Recovery wipe data and cache - now only gets as far as the initial samsung galaxy note II screen
2) Odin flashing a 4.1.2 rom from sammobile - no go "unsupported" so has a knox bootloader
3) Odin flashing a 4.3 rom from sammobile - hangs on animated boot logo with the blue led pulsing
tried 1 again same result
4) Odin flashing a 4.4.2 rom from sammobile - hangs on animated boot logo with the blue led pulsing
tried 1 again same result
5) Install firmware via Kies - hangs on animated boot logo with the blue led pulsing
tried 1 again same result
Odin Flash proper version of twrp 2.8.7.0
6)Fix permissions in TWRP - says sucessfull but also has "E: unable to mount data" etc back to the initial galaxy note II screen
7) Flash custom rom via twrp - hangs on animated boot logo with the blue led pulsing
tried 1 again same result
I'm running out of ideas and patience with this thing does anyone have any other ideas for me to try?
After leaving the phone for a while to prevent me from smashing it into a million bits with the biggest hammer I could find I got it working tonight.
Charged the phone up I had to disconnect and reconnect a few times as it said it was 100% on the full screen battery picture then in recovery it said 18% or something
I re-flashed N7105XXUFNL2_N7105H3GFOD1_H3G from sammobile using Odin 1.85 along with the PIT file from this thread checking re-partition (I used a pit file otherwise I'd leave this alone), Auto Reboot, F.Reset time and Phone Bootloader update. This seemed to take longer than previous flashes.
Flashed TWRP 2.8.7.0
formatted Data in TWRP (the advanced one where you have to type yes to confirm). Previously Data was unmountable so I assume the long flash fixed something there.
Wiped cache in TWRP
and rebooted and waited ages and it came to life

Need help troubleshooting this issue

Firstly thanks for taking the time to view this and helping me out.
Yesterday I was out and my Galaxy s4 mini l9190 was on and charging using a power bank, checked the battery status a couple hours after and the phone was switched off. I switched it back on and was working fine till I restarted it the phone got stuck on the boot logo (Samsung logo). I tried booting into recovery (twrp) and it got stuck on the boot logo for the recovery as well. When i reached home I tried using Odin to narrow my issues but it got stuck on initializing status.
Currently when I try to switch my phone on it vibrates and nothing shows up, same goes with trying to boot into recovery, nothing shows up just a single vibrate. Only thing works is Download Mode.
Recovery: TWRP
OS: CM 13
Things to consider:
1) Connecting a wall outlet to charge doesn't show the charging status.
2) Shows up on Odin.
3) Battery was supposed to change because I had draining issues.
I Tried:
1) Holding down power button for 30 seconds with no battery in place.
2) Charging it (no charging status showing)
Can anyone help me?
