hello everyone.
I've a question to ask about jack earphone connecting.
While I push jack to device, I always hear loud of noise.
I don't know this is good or bad?
note : after push jack noise is clear.
thank you.

Does it sound like normal static? If your headphones are working as normal all the other time its not a problem. Some headphones gets this based on how many channels its 3.5mm connector has and where some of them get contact with the output.

Got my g3 today and I loved it to I connected a headset....
When I connect headsett it's goes beep beep once and with my bose headset it makes interference sounds.
Anybody else have this issue?
I think i get it with earphones in the box at certain volume
Sent from my LG-D855 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I have the same issue. With my custom headphones I hear a lot of hum noice during music play but with other headphones it's ok so I think that problem is with impedance. 25 ohms for custom (1964Qi) and 15 ohms Sony MH1C. If anyone can test it or has idea how to solve it?

Today I tested 2 LG g3 and 1 LG G2. All off the phones do have this issue we have. But only with my bose. Testet nye pair of headphones and same problem so our phone is OK and I am buying a new headset possibly wireless
C'mon I don't think that problem is in my 500$ headphones. It looks like some incompatibility but needs to be investigated somehow. Some portable headamp or DAC can help as I need good headphones

The problem is in the LG phones not just ours but all LG phones. Maybe it is software related?
It's possibly hardware related and just poor isolation of the circuits used for audio on the phone. I hear the two beeps on earphones and headphones but little/no static.

Yeah but why would they make a phone that way

It's cheaper. PC motherboards are only _just_ starting to get isolated audio as a standard feature and think how long they've been around. To isolate components from other parts you need more room as well, something phones don't have.
Try pulling it in and out a few times and then wrot wipe the connector. I've read some making this work. Seems to be an oil or something in there.
Update. This did the trick for me!
Hello,
Today I got new headphones but the sound quality is poor. I think it may be due to headphones having microphone - thus 4-pole connector. I know there are more types of these connectors, and I don't really need a microphone so I was wondering if something like this would help.

It is hard to tell... Maybe a little buzz, but I would say it's more like there is little-to-no mid range. The sound is just "boxy". It is perfectly clear on my old headphones which don't have a microphone.
Hey team,
Has anyone else noticed how terrible the on board DAC is? It is the loudest piece of audio equipment I have ever heard. Just noticed it and can't unnotice it. When I swapped back to my 4th Gen ipod touch it sounded utterly incredible in comparison. I'm getting noise, strange squealing in both ears at around 5000hz when music is playing? Any fix for this one? I read a few posts and edited the mixer.xml file but it just crapped out all sound. Definitely not my headphones or an impedance issue, I have tried with multiple headphones.
I'm running Fulmics 6.1.
The sound of the G3 DAC also lacks a whole ton of power, even when compared to other cell phones. Not sure whats going on there, the clarity of the mids and highs are rather compromised. I even occasionally hear bass distorting on some tracks (it's not the tracks or the headphones).

I don't know, if that's the issue you're trying to solve, but for me it helped a lot: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-...ying-music-t2804065/post59601465#post59601465
I use to think the same but with a unusual trick everything seems fine now.
If ur headphones have a detachable cable plug first the cable to the jack without the headphones n in the status bar u will see a cable icon instead of the headphone one, now connect the headphones to the other end of the cable, I know is unusual but sounds change terrific.
If u don't have a detachable headphones the next is plugin ur headphones, make a call, u need answered to the other side (I make call to my cellphone company ) detach the headphones n reconnect again during the call (remember u have to be answered) n now u can end the call. Again the noise n hiss sounds go away after this, but u Need to do this Everytime u reboot the phone.

Okay, that sounds a bit strange, but I will give it a go. If it works, I might make a Tasker profile, so that it happens immediately. Surely this is a software problem right? Are you running marshmallow or what?
Gave it a try but there is still the problem. It only really happens after playing a track or during music playing, there is quite a lot of white noise in the signal behind the music too. Not terrible, but it is very prominent when comparing to better sources.
Not sure what the problem is but I'm going to try a different fix.
My LG G7 ThinQ distorts with Quad DAC on at high volume... Without a DAC sound is clearer and louder, and it doesn't distort... Headphone jack makes noises when rotating it, plus while removing headphones from the jack a loud hiss happens... Is my DAC dying or is it a headphone jack issue? Please help...

if I had to guess I'd go with possible faulty headphone jack or your headphones, have you tried other sets of headphones and had the same issue? only thing I can recommend is check different headphones if it persists factory reset if it persists again take it to where you got it from and see what they can do about it.

The cause may be my resoldered headphones, but yeah, I tried other headphones and they also distort... Sound is a lot worse with DAC on... With normal mode sound is completely normal, which is why I suspect the DAC is dying... I just hope I can fix it for low price as paying $100 for something like that would be stupid... That is the only reason I bought this phone and now it distorts... Qualcomm DAC is not bad, but I prefer ESS DAC...

I really hope that too...
Hi guys,
I've got this phone quite recently, and got this problem right away.
When I plug in my earphones with microphone included I'd say that 80% of the time, people can't hear my voice. They do hear a high-pitch sound, going over my voice. This happens on call, while recording audio, on what's app...
So my guess is that's a jack-connection issue. I don't have another pair of earphones or external mic to try with at that time. But I was wondering if this was a common trouble? Should I look into getting other earbuds or look into fixing the phone?
Thank you,
Probably just your headset..
Is it the one included with the phone?

I did not receive a headset with the phone no. This is one I bought previously, Symphonized NRG 3.0.
Not sure if it would help but try cleaning the earphone jack with a toothpick. Dust and lint usually get stuck inside the jack.
