I have flashed and experienced many ROMs. At present I felt the bootleggers ROM to be exactly what I was looking for. You can try it, you will like it.

Thanks bro , i will try .
I am loving bootleggers for now. Great stability with most features working. Safety Net passes even with Dev Options and usb debugging on. Best at the moment.

there is no heat issues, if you doesn't play game like pubg. In the 1st boot your device may gets heat but after settling the rom(after 2,3 reboot) device temperature will be normal.

never tried, so can't say anything about bootleggers.
I recomand bootleggers to, compared to aex general performance and battery is the same if not a little better, the AEX dev is working realy hard to bring treble suport to the device so rom is not as obtimized as it can be. The biggest difference is the gaming performance, on bootleggers its very good. The only problem with bootleggers is the stuttering in recent apps.

Hey bro ! Try bootlegger ROM.
LMAO, all this with the BL ROM. Yer if your a fan boy and go along cos they all are type then sure, go with that. I've tried almost all the ROMS here, including STOCK. STOCK or Jaguar are the best. IMO - > obviously. Jaguar is updated the fullest - this Dev has worked out the problems. My 1st go on BL = fail. Didnt do sound Mod. On Jaguar already built in. Great performance, battery, no bloat. Looks simple and plain to start, but trust thats all you want, less can go wrong. Genuinely try Bootleggers and Jaguar. Both easy and good. Then pick. I'd say its between them 2 if your not looking to mess about.

Bro battery backup is not so good im my Bootlegger Rom.
Use #Jaguar for #ZukZ2 #Snapdragon820 #Adreno530 #toomanyhashtags
The main reason for going Custom ROM is to satisfy different needs compare to Stock where the phone maker tries to satisfy all with a balance setup.
ZUI is really poor compare any well established Custom ROM both interms of performance, features or stability.
Infact, rarely you get to see stock ROM having more bugs than most of the Custom ROM.
I am no expert here & neither I have tried many Custom ROM. It's been just couple of days for me with Pixel Exp ROM + AR Beast kernel. I am really amazed to see the difference between Stock 2.5 Indian ROM vs PE ROM + AR Beast kernel.
You like it or not, no matter how many suggestion you get, you will end up trying few configuration (ROM or ROM+Kernel) before finding the best suitable stuff for your need.
Yes, writting (question) down parameters of your requirements along with lot of reading (ROM threads for user comments) may help you zero into couple of possible candidates between so many options.

Yup thats why im solid on using this instead of Lollipop, even with Xposed & GB its slick as butter
Once CM12 is stable i can optimize that aswell and make it as smooth as kk, you will see a difference...
Hi,
As I see this rom is based on stock 21.85.14, basically with those tweaks:
- Rooted and busybox
- Debloated
- Pinkman Kernel
- Adrenaline boost
Am I right?

Your 10% right, i spent almost 3 weeks optimizing every single apk, go and look at a stock roms /system/app folder and compare to this roms /system/app, compare apk sizes and stuff inside, you will see a difference, and if that dosnt prove it, use stock 21.85.14 with everything wiped, then use this ROM even without Pinkman kernel and without it being debloated, you will notice a performance improvement,
how does it twerk?
moto g (2014) has low end flash storage, not so good r/w speeds, so i/o gets congested and things usually get queued, thats when you notice hangs when opening an app, my optimizations reduce app size and compress's everything in return for the cpu having to do more uncompression work, however our cpu is quad core, so there enough threads to handle the decompression, so this works quite well especially on our device since it has a decent cpu but bad flash storage,

Sorry if I sounded like ungrateful jerk, it was not my intention, I was asking that because I am using the 21.85.14 build debloated by myself, with a little tweak on lowmemorykiller.c and furnace kernel, so I wanted to know if it was something else.
Now I know it is more polished than mine, I'll try it asap.
Thanks and sorry if I sound rude.

haha dont worry bro, , im open minded usually, i was just drawing up a graph anyway, i like predicted i would get criticism cause at first sight it does look simple but its pretty complex, i hope it works good on your device and ive attached a graph for future-readers to see so i dont have to explain (i cracked out my super art skills for this lol)

Well um thing is the optimizations are alot of hard work xD i can work on xt1063 & xt1064 but it would take along time + i would prefer if someone could come up with a flashable mod (which removes xt1068 stuff and replaces with xt1063 stuff and then i can optimize that)

maybe yes, i will in a future build, v1.0 is a fully stable build essentially i will remove moto migrate and then fix the ram, but afaik from using it, the ram seems to be fine, im browsing on xda fine with 4-5 tabs and listening to tunein radio so it seems alright (btw chrome is amazing with the compression optimizations)

The ramscript i used was Juwe11's.
Flash the attached zip - should fix the ram management, if its not working so well, go to /system/etc/init.d and delete 97ramscript
pls report back on findings...

Batterylife of Euphoria 1.1 is great .
Screen on time is after first full charge after flashing the Rom.
No optional kernel flashed.
Screen brightness about 60%.
WiFi always on, sync emails
Novalauncher prime vinyl icons
Rom themed with Euphoria cm13 theme
Youtube, music, social media.......
It can only be better with batterylife.
Thumbs up for the Dev:thumbup:

Seems quite good. My phone is always with 4G/Wifi/GPS on all the day. With stock ROM, when going back home, battery life was about 30-40%. Very very good. I wouldn't want to loose such battery performances.
Has your phone been able to run all the day ? How many percent when coming back home (if so !) or at the end of the day ?
Sorry for all these question, and thanks you for all your answers

Been using the ROM for about four hours now on my 6045O its working great. The only issue I've found is GPS doesn't work in Google Earth but then again it doesn't work in any of the other ROMS for me either.
It feels a little slower than the stock CM12 ROMs but a little faster than VanirAOSP.
I really like some of the added features like the weather display on the lock screen and double tapping the navbar to sleep.
Thank you for the hard work in porting this ROM.

Which version of the phone do you have? i or k?
Also, what about the battery life? I would love to get rid of the lag but not if it means 2 hours SoT
so hows performance in 6045i? with and without arde?
Encounter a weird behaviour.. Only theme that I can install successfully is euphoria dark theme.. All others are installed for couple of seconds, then I get notification that theme has failed to install. Wtf ? Read it's something related to the kernel, but I'm using Arde OC which wasn't making no problems with other roms..
Could you implement wakelock blocker from Aicp, or Bliss Pop in this rom ? It would be wonderful to see stock-like rom with nice feature like wakelock blocker to avoid installing xposed for Greenify or Amplify.. @the Marrionette

AICP is pretty clean, and has nice features.
If I were to implement new features (and I dont know how to add them),there would be absolutely no point in making several roms.

Public Service Announcement
This is an unofficial build for Oreo (8.1.0).
Given timing of achieving this and the likelihood that as of July the big G dropped support of Oreo (among other issues), official status does not look promising now.
If you see something out of place, please post with logs.
At this point there will be no feature requests for this Android Oreo, just looking to stomp out any bugs that remain.
FYI, if you rather hang with Nougat, I have also posted some recently discontinued builds (have used them extensively, but for these you are on your own in terms of support).
Enjoy!
@OfficerJimLahey well this is something I will look forward to flash. You will have full logs whatever I can help you with. Will flash asap and report with oreo. Never thought carbon will be here like this. ?
I played the rom once. So far I have found no mistakes. Will report in the next few days! Thanks in advance

Battery drain doesn't seem all that different from (Moto Stock) Nougat to me - since the WiFi is a pig for battery.

Oh that. New in Android O, you can set other apps to be trusted in installing. Much better than Google Play or always allow unsigned apps. So the app you used to install it just wasn't trusted for the job (yet).

Wow another great work :fingers-crossed:
Mobile data not available. If that could be repaired, rom looks promising
Updated to V3
Mobile data and brightness both are very important in a daily driver.... The brightness bug ruined miui pie rom port too ... otherwise it's an amazing rom ... Hope to get them fixed
In version 3 the mobile data is working. Only bug left is brightness
Dev is doing great im sure he's going to fix brightness and other bugs in v4
Eagerly waiting for v4
But my question is can i not flash it over zui 4 twrp ??

The brightness is a bit low (taskerm is already configured, you can use it), if you think the brightness is too high, you can modify the value inside, 255 is the highest.
Currently only the above bugs.

Hey dev do we still need brightness workaround or it normally works now????
And link isn't working
I tried this ROM yesterday.... Almost everything was working with some little bugs but it was really smooth and nice.... The only problem was Google apps.... I tried to make them run but failed...
I also installed Google services ..it installed but still gapps Don't work....
I also tried to force push Google services in system but for some reason we can't even write into system ....
Gapps are major issue and draw back ...if you can live with it... The ROM is for you

Bhai can you please suggest me a stable rom for daily driver. I can't test each and every ROM.
As I am really busy and using zuk as primary device and also i am living 1000km away from home so can't afford a dead phone at this moment.
I am willing to flash a ROM after 5 months because the phone is performing really bad, and in the case i want some help can i pm you because i don't want to spam any thread with nood questions
Thanks ? users like you keep these forums alive

How did you install it? Did you use a custom recovery? I'm on A12 custom rom now....

I used the custom recovery from the rom yes. It ran great today though, I did for some reason lose GPS using maps, and my bike tracker...my settings look good and I cleared data/cache to no avail. I'm going to try a clean install and see if that fixes - I like the rom overall and battery life is good. Super smooth/slick - so I hope the GPS was just a bad install...stay tuned lol.

Thanks, I only see two files i can download from their website, ROM and Boot.. Where did you get the Recovery?
Oh sorry - when you add the boot in fastboot mode, it sets up their custom recovery...so run the boot.img in fastboot, then use the up-volume and go into recovery.
On the GPS issue - on my install the GPS is somehow toggled "off" for maps, waze etc. I added the icon to my quick start pull down and turned it on.
I did backup/reinstall settings from another rom on the initial install so the settings may have been screwy, but I did another fresh install and this time didn't migrate any data from past backups...it was still that way. I think this fixed the issue but i'll test it out tomorrow.

Ok, thank you...
So, you flashed the boot file first and then you rebooted into recovery, right?
I hope someone will put here more detalied instructions about it.....
I wanted to download the bootimage but it keeps throwing an error at me

I had the same issue - I use firefox at home...switched over to Edge (I think) and the download came thru. If that doesn't work PM me and I'll set up a drive share if you want.
Okay now I have everything up and running - will comment on battery life in a few days.
The 2nd fresh install - I had the same GPS issue above but once I put the GPS icon on the quick-pull down menu, I just turned it on.
Battery notes and review: the Rom is slick and fast - better than most and at least as good as any others I've tried for this device.
I like the fact the gapps are in the rom folder - saves you some trouble with all the apps being installed as part of the official rom. Sometimes apps aren't installed at system-apps if it's done afterwards so this is a help for guys like me
Battery - I got 24 hours in and still had 33% left. with SOT at 1.5 hours. I'm not a heavy user so that should give me about 36 hours or so of phone-on time at least the way I use it (about 2-2.5 hours of SOT is normal for me with a full charge). By comparison...most other roms give me between about 28-35 hours. So this also has great battery life.
Charging time is fast - I'm not sure how all that works but it charges really quickly.
Features are plenty - I generally like the stock-roms with all the crap stripped out, with just a few extra features. This has way more than just that but you still get great speed and battery.
The thing I love is - I don't feel like I need to add a new kernel, or root to enhance the speed or battery - it's pretty legit straight up as-is. As-is this is a great rom with not tweaks needed post install.
Great rom - thanks for the work.

Yes - and has more options for customization.
Does Google Photos unlimited Storage Saver upload work in this ROM?
