Bored of stock Lenovo Boot splash screen (the 'Lenovo' boot logo which is displayed when the device is switched ON). Well here’s some new splash screens. I hope you guys like it.
Requirement:-
1. Custom Recovery - TWRP
2. Rooted Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus (any ROM)
Download Flashable Zips
Steps:-
1. Download the flashable zips
2. Flash through custom recovery
3. Done.

My Vibe P1 runs stock marshmellow. I wanted to install the RR Custom rom, which requires the TWRP to be flashed.
I followed the steps mentioned in https://forum.xda-developers.com/vibe-p1/development/qpst-flashing-vibeui-3-1-s272-rom-t3386650 .
so far, i have unlocked the bootloader, but still stuck with the lenovo recovery. can somone guide me as to how to proceed so I can get TWRP ?
There is another thread, which links to a turkish site, but it has no download links and the screenshots cant be expanded, so even that was a dead end......

I found it quite tricky after flashing TWRP you have to hold Volume up and down together while the phone is booting but I must of kept timing it wrong and kept getting Lenovo recovery till in the end when flashing TWRP finnished I turned phone off by holding the power button then powered on and holded Vol up + down and it entered TWRP enabling me to root.
I installed lineage-14.1-20170121-UNOFFICIAL-A6020.zip ROM today on my brand new Lenovo Vibe K5 ( Model# A6020a40 , HW version H201 ).
After installing successfully using TWRP, I rebooted and the device does not go past the boot-loader screen (showing "Lenovo"). "fastboot devices -l" is able to detect this device but Android startup does not happen.
I am loading any ROM for the first time on this device, so it may not be a ROM issue.
I made sure I did a factory reset before installing it. What did I miss?
Please help me to make it work.

Hardware version is on sticker,most probably your hw version is 39 which @chaubeyprateek haven't added support to till now on lineage os,try aokp,aospextended,RR N,it will work.Do remember to take stock backups before flashing, because all custom roms on this device are pretty buggy and you would want to go back to stock from time to time.

How did You flashed the TWRP and did you Rooted the device ?
I've a new phone, but don't have the tools, and would be happy to backup my phone and send you the ROM or whatever....so I can recover if need be

After flashing Lineage OS v14.1 on my lenovo k5 plus, it stucked in animation boot and I can't go to recovery. Someone told me to flash TWRP/rom using SP FLASHTOOL. But I have one problem: download don't start. Everytime I connect my phone, it only shows the battery charging. Is there a way to revive my phone?

Just go to lenovo care i had same prblm they fixed it by reinstalling the os.
good morning to all the comunity
a friend recently gave me the lenovo vibe shot to run the root, for the fact of the sitema app that fill with advertising.
Of course, before doing my own thing, I had a look on the goggle and the tube, and I noticed that before installing a recovery I had to unlock the BootLoader
and I performed this procedure with the files downloaded from rusian site for unlock bootloader
I am stuck at point 9, since the phone has turned off at the end of download and now remains stationary in LENOVO POWERED BY SevenMaxs
I tried to do an update.zip from recovery the original one, but without success, stops at 49%
Tips?
