This one is probably the best boot animation I have ever used. A combination of Marvel and DC comics characters, it is a must-have for any Marvel or DC fan. It has almost all the popular superheroes like Batman, Superman, Flash, Captain America, Ironman, Hulk, Wolverine and many more. Just try it once and you will never want to switch to any other boot animation ever! It will definitely flaunt your device and set it apart from others. People will start noticing it as soon as you start using it. And they will probably be surprised how did you do this magic! Just kidding! But yeah, you will definitely start getting questions like "How did you do it?" "Please help me getting it" etc. Just smile and make a face like "Hey it's a magic"!! Try it to believe it.
Instruction to use:
You don't really need to flash the zip file. I will make it very simple for you. Just download the zip file from the given link. The zip file will be like "bootanimation.zip". Now just open ES file explorer or any file manager with root access. Now locate the downloaded bootanimation.zip file and copy it. Now go to /system/media and you will see there is already a bootanimation.zip file. That is your current boot animation zip file. Just rename the current bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip1 for future reference and now paste the downloaded bootanimation.zip file that you copied earlier. Now just restart your device and enjoy all the superheroes on your device. Please note, it won't replace the stock "AndroidOne" splash screen that shows at the beginning.
If you like the boot animation, don't forget to hit Thanks. It would inspire me to give you more cool boot animations like this.
Note: If you want to see who are all the superheroes there waiting to be unleashed, just download the zip and unzip it to see all the images there.

Yes. Works on any ROM. Just open ES explorer and go to /system/media and replace it with the current bootanimation.zip
And does it reduce de boot time? Or it is still the same. Thank you for your work.

It's pretty much the same boot time. I am using it for a long time and never felt any difference. Do note that boot time also depends on how many apps are going to load on boot. For faster boot, you can use bootmanager and control which apps you want to load on boot and prevent all others.

Hi, the AndroidOne logo which shows at the beginning is not a boot animation but splash screen. The superheroes boot animation will start appearing after the AndroidOne logo disappears. Please let me know if you faced any issue while using the boot animation.

I followed the video you made to a tee and it still doesn't work. What specific boot animation are you using? Maybe the one I chose doesn't work right? I've tried both the regular and 4.0.3 downloads from that site for the Andromeda one.

Dude, I've been waiting for this thread FOREVER! I'm having the hardest damn time getting a custom boot animation to work. I followed a YouTube tutorial, tried manually through RootExplorer and tried via Rom Toolbox as well. No go for me. I don't have any special request just something nice and easy I can flash in recovery and will get rid of boot sounds.
Do you think you can post some generic stuff for now?

my biggest problem which i should be well aware of by now is that you have to be sure your folders only have the images inside of them. Many times thumbnail files get created and you wont see them if you have "hide protected operating system files" in windows folder options, the view tab...another side note is that the other roms didnt allow custom boots. thanks Josh!!!!

In some cases you have flashable zips, in others you have to move the file to system/media and change permissions. just find a flashable boot animation, back up system (optional) and flash in recovery and bam! I actually just flashed a new boot anim not even an hour ago.
Good Luck!:good:

@stoehner ... Are you still looking for a flashable zip version? If so I have made one of the "Pokemon" animation but on principle I haven't made one of the "Marvel DC", I cannot in all honesty live with an animation as large as 17Mb in size, that's outrageous.
@stoehner a couple of caveats (1) This flashable will only work with a CM13 or similar ROM - that is to say you must be running a ROM which uses the standard .jpg/.png format boot animations, it will not work with Samsung's default .qmg setup. (2) After you have flashed it check that the permissions are Octal 0644 - this isn't essential but keeps it tidy.

No, you have to copy them to root system/media
17mb is big I know but does it really matter¿ it will not degrade the startup in anyway, and it looks cool lol

Yes if you want to live in the stone age then by all means do as you suggest but these days people are more like @stoehner they want the ease of a flashable zip file that can be flashed in recovery or by using the app "Flashify". So if anyone wants the flashable I can upload it here or if you think that means I am hi-jacking your thread then I will start my own which will consist of all flashable zips for the S2 T810. I also make flashable Logos for the S2.
Good luck to you if you think that installing countless huge programs and apps will not affect the performance of your device.

As you would have it brother, for me it is a most simple thing to copy it to the directory but if you want to create a flashable zip by all means go ahead. Do it here, there or anywhere. I have no interest in flashable zips though and I am a person, so I guess your statement has some credibility issues... This thread was just a little fun that I was having a while ago, I am no longer using either of the boot animations as I went back to stock. Many blessings and all the best.
Earlier we got boot animations from pixel 2 devices, but I am here with flashable ones to reduce work on your part.
So just download, and get to flashing!
Instructions-
-TO FLASH PIXEL 2 BOOT ANIMATION+SPLASH-
Just download the appropriate boot animation and flash through any custom recovery. If you dont have one, use apps like flashify to get the job done.
-TO BACKUP YOUR CURRENT BOOT ANIMATION-
Through a root file manager, go to /system/media and change bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip.bak and then flash whichever pixel 2 boot zip you fancy.

Here I am with Pixel 2's flashable bootanimation and logo in one single zip file to minimize hassle.
It is already tried and tested, so dont worry. Special thanks to @abhijeetbohra for testing.
Instructions - Well its pretty simple, Just dark or normal Pixel2[Boot+Splash]-MG4.zip through twrp, wipe cache, reboot to system. THATS IT.
TO BACKUP YOUR CURRENT BOOTANIMATION,
Through a root broweser, go to /system/media and change bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip.bak and then flash whichever pixel 2 zip.
Included in the .zip - BOOT LOGO AND BOOTANIMATION.
Credits - @fosser2 - for the stock pixel 2 bootanimation.
@TECHNO_THUNDER for dark bootanimation.
DARK VERSION IS HERE! ENJOY!
Guys i know the quality of the dark version isnt that good. Its difficult to get it better by editting every picture individually. I will try to release a better version in near future.
Heres a video which shows the boot animation in the beginning.

Yeah. This isnt limited by android versions until the path of some of the files have been changed.
In stock 7.0, the G covers all the screen on the boot animation, if you could fix it it will be perfect, I tried on the RC-1 of InvictaO and worked fine, great work sir.

There are problems if you are on stock. None on custom roms. Try manually placing the bootanimation.zip in /system/media.
