Earlier we got boot animations from pixel 2 devices, but I am here with flashable ones to reduce work on your part.
So just download, and get to flashing!
Instructions-
-TO FLASH PIXEL 2 BOOT ANIMATION+SPLASH-
Just download the appropriate boot animation and flash through any custom recovery. If you dont have one, use apps like flashify to get the job done.
-TO BACKUP YOUR CURRENT BOOT ANIMATION-
Through a root file manager, go to /system/media and change bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip.bak and then flash whichever pixel 2 boot zip you fancy.
-TO RECOVER BACKED UP BOOT ANIMATION-
Again through a root file manager, go to /system/media and delete bootanimation.zip. Now rename bootanimation.zip.bak to bootanimation.zip.
Downloads-
Light version- Download!
Dark version- Download!
Disclaimer- IM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO YOUR DEVICE BECAUSE OF THIS ZIP. YOU CHOSE TO FLASH IT!

Here I am with Pixel 2's flashable bootanimation and logo in one single zip file to minimize hassle.
It is already tried and tested, so dont worry. Special thanks to @abhijeetbohra for testing.
Instructions - Well its pretty simple, Just dark or normal Pixel2[Boot+Splash]-MG4.zip through twrp, wipe cache, reboot to system. THATS IT.
TO BACKUP YOUR CURRENT BOOTANIMATION,
Through a root broweser, go to /system/media and change bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip.bak and then flash whichever pixel 2 zip.
Included in the .zip - BOOT LOGO AND BOOTANIMATION.
Credits - @fosser2 - for the stock pixel 2 bootanimation.
@TECHNO_THUNDER for dark bootanimation.
DARK VERSION IS HERE! ENJOY!
Guys i know the quality of the dark version isnt that good. Its difficult to get it better by editting every picture individually. I will try to release a better version in near future.
Heres a video which shows the boot animation in the beginning.
Disclaimer- I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO YOUR DEVICE DUE TO FLASHING THIS ZIP. Flash at your own risk.

Yeah. This isnt limited by android versions until the path of some of the files have been changed.
In stock 7.0, the G covers all the screen on the boot animation, if you could fix it it will be perfect, I tried on the RC-1 of InvictaO and worked fine, great work sir.

There are problems if you are on stock. None on custom roms. Try manually placing the bootanimation.zip in /system/media.

Before install please take a look into your ROM, if you have the same files inside your ROM then this would simply replace it with new ones, nothing to lose
Can you post screenshots please? I would like to be certain what it is exactly.

yeah, screenshots pls

I checked it already, looks really nice. First a space scene with stars then this forms into the Samsung logo. Don't know how else to describe it. Had 1 FC on start and eventually restored back to my normal setup with nandroid.

It's not a CWM flashable zip, you can install it by placing it in /system/media/bootanimation.zip to do this you should remount /system/ as writable (or use a root explorer).

@stoehner ... Are you still looking for a flashable zip version? If so I have made one of the "Pokemon" animation but on principle I haven't made one of the "Marvel DC", I cannot in all honesty live with an animation as large as 17Mb in size, that's outrageous.
@stoehner a couple of caveats (1) This flashable will only work with a CM13 or similar ROM - that is to say you must be running a ROM which uses the standard .jpg/.png format boot animations, it will not work with Samsung's default .qmg setup. (2) After you have flashed it check that the permissions are Octal 0644 - this isn't essential but keeps it tidy.

No, you have to copy them to root system/media
17mb is big I know but does it really matter¿ it will not degrade the startup in anyway, and it looks cool lol

Yes if you want to live in the stone age then by all means do as you suggest but these days people are more like @stoehner they want the ease of a flashable zip file that can be flashed in recovery or by using the app "Flashify". So if anyone wants the flashable I can upload it here or if you think that means I am hi-jacking your thread then I will start my own which will consist of all flashable zips for the S2 T810. I also make flashable Logos for the S2.
Good luck to you if you think that installing countless huge programs and apps will not affect the performance of your device.

As you would have it brother, for me it is a most simple thing to copy it to the directory but if you want to create a flashable zip by all means go ahead. Do it here, there or anywhere. I have no interest in flashable zips though and I am a person, so I guess your statement has some credibility issues... This thread was just a little fun that I was having a while ago, I am no longer using either of the boot animations as I went back to stock. Many blessings and all the best.
GREAT NEWS!!
Big thanks to @Kuljeet Singh for providing a magisk package to work with for easy installation. Upon testing, it turns out using the magisk mod will uncap the size limit for bootanimations! This is great, as now I can work without restriction! New(bigger) bootanimations now available.
I created some original animations to use as bootanimations for the OnePlus 6t! Please, enjoy!
Installation: [ROOT REQUIRED]
METHOD 1
(manual installation)(~45mb file size limit)
1. Make a backup of your current bootanimation.zip located in your 6t's '/system/media' folder
2. Download/Rename desired bootanimation to bootanimation.zip (must be 45mb or less)
3. Replace with new bootanimation.zip and change permissions to 'rw--r--r--'
4. Reboot.
METHOD 2
(flashed with magisk)(no size limit AFAIK)
1. No need to backup, magisk is systemless!
2.Download desired bootanimation, no renaming required.
3. Open MagiskManager app, select 'MODULES' then select the (+), navigate to downloads folder and choose desired bootanimation mod.
4. Reboot.

Hi! You're very welcome! ?
I've been experimenting with an animation program called P.D. Howler 10, so I've been making these from scratch. There's an instructional thread here on xda that explains how to make the bootanimation.zip. It's actually quite easy once you have the images in order. You can do either loops or step by step, but for this device there is a 45mb ceiling, so I try to stick with loops for now, as even then there is little room for anything more than mostly black. Also I prefer 60fps so there's that to consider as well. This has been frustrating as I've trashed many amazing animations due to size limitation. ? Maybe when we get official twrp and custom ROMs I can try again. Fingers crossed.
As for a video preview, I'll do my best to get some going ASAP.
I'll update this comment with a link to that instructional thread asap.
