I have a problem with my wifi not connecting after I've updated to a new version of a ROM.
For instance, with Myn's warm, wifi and everything worked perfect, however after updating to the second version, wifi will locate but not connect to and hold the signal.
The same goes for MIUI.
I always do a full wipe and if I flash back to the first versions of these roms the wifi works fine.
Is there something that I am missing?
Hi, I'm having an odd wifi issue.
I unlocked my OneX, and flashed a rom, wifi was working fine until i restarted the phone, when i try to turn on wifi it says 'turning on wifi' forever.
Wifi never turns on again.
Exept if i flash another rom, then the whole thing happens again.
I have tried many roms, ICS and JB all with the same result.
And reflashing the boot.img didn't help.
Does any one know of a fix or some advice?
Do i have to send my phone back to HTC?

Try getril from the market and see if you can find a compatible one for your baseband.
And now i have matching ril and baseband.
And the wifi still wont turn on.
Try reflashing modules for your kernel in cwm.

Haven't yet flashed module, but i was trying wifi direct and that works, so I'm thinking this is most likely not a hardware failure. Am i right?
Now I'm of to figure out how to flash a module.. Hoping i dont Have to send my HOX to HTC to fix this.
.... Woke up this morning and the wifi was on, i haven't done anything. But it works!
Now I'm gonna try a restart to see if it will work afterwards.
Ok, restarted the phone and wifi stopped working.
Then i just to check, restored a backup from super wifi password backup app, then wifi kicked in. So, now i'm going to flash a New JB Rom and not use the app to restore wifi passwords.

i was using unofficial 12.1 on my yu yureka... and it was working fine with no issues..... it is already rooted and boot loader unlocked
last friday i installed chainfire 3d and installed 3d drivers and when ia rebooted it was stuck at logo.. so used a backup to get back ... and after flashing the backup it was fine ... and on monday evening i installed a vodafone app till then wifi was working fine... after that app wifi was not turning on... so i again went for the backup and wifi again worked finely... after some hours wifi problem resumed and i followed more than 3 roms still the wifi is not turning on.... need help for this issue...
Try wiping the cache
Try a fresh install and chainfire 3D isn't made for lollipop.

Same problem.done everything. Flashed it but still not working.I dialled *#*#4636#*#* it shows the wifi information. There wifi is disabled.to enable wifi it asked for network id.what should I do now?

So after i upgraded to android 6.0.1, my wifi worked for about 1 week and then phone started randomly restarting and wifi wouldnt turn on.... I have tried everything on the internet i guess including flashing the lastest stock rom,custom roms, doing factory reset, deleting wpa_supplicant.conf... it works for afew minutes then restarts and wifi doesnt turn on again... bluetooth is working fine... any help would be greatly appreciated
One week ago I rooted our Nexus 5X and installed custom roms, everything worked except the wifi.
The problem is that the phone finds the network connects to it and then reconnects and on and on.
It the wifi settings it says "saved" "connecting" and contunie like that....
So I decided to unroot and install the latest Stock firmware again, but the problem is still there.
Anyone here who knows how to svolve this?
