Ahhhhh.....I know what you mean! You want my advise, that it is a major *hit-idea TO POST YOUR IMEI & SERIAL TO AN OPEN FORUM, RIGHHHHHT?
Jesus..

@m02ndk I have removed your IMEI. It is not a good idea to post it online, as it is personal information.

I am waiting for it too since i relocked my bootloader with Oreo installed. I can't flash Nougat (maybe because it's too old i guess).

The RUU is available, but I have no permission to publish it.

ok, I asked my russian friend for permission and he said yes

Kinda strange you call htc a sh.. company while you had the Oreo update officially. I think you meant to say that you were a little bit stupid and forgot to create a stock backup before you started tinkering with your device, actions which htc can not be held responsible for......

What do you mean by the file "flash this first"? Do I need to flash both zips via the RUU method? or just the larger one size ~2GB

Just for everyone else is the small file the firmware? The RUU won't flash without Oreo firmware right? So if people are on Oreo already theres no need to flash the firmware?
Edit: sorry I just saw your other post to me in the stock thread.

Thanks sorted flashed and worked thanks developers.

you saved my bricked HTC 10
Thanks your russian friend. I bricked my HTC by trying to close bootloader, but now with the 2PS6IMG.zip it works again. :good::good::good:

Hey sorry to bother but could you explain the exact way to flash both files? If both in RUU mode, if the bigger file in RUU and the other in Download mode or anything else, like if I should flash the files with the Sd Card method (renaming the file as "2PS6IMG.zip"). So the more specific, the better. Thank you in advance
P.S. Right now I'm S-ON and the bootloader is unlocked, should I relock it?

sos
pls help us, how we flash first file?!

If S ON you need to be in RUU mode. Firmware will need to be flashed twice.
Edit: I see you are now on Oreo and are having problems with twrp or something going by your other posts.did you get the Oreo RUU to work then?

Excellent. Tell us about what happened to get to this point. Also, what can you boot into, if anything?
Your MID indicates that you have the unlocked/developer edition of the phone, so my advice would be to use the RUU for that device. You'll have to boot into the bootloader and connect your phone to a PC (this RUU won't run on any other operating system), but it should restore your phone completely to stock.
Be aware that using a RUU is a destructive restore - it'll wipe everything on the phone.
(It's weird that you're S-ON and yet have a CID of 11111111, which is the SuperCID. Changing the CID is only possible after S-OFF.)
extract hosd.img from your firmware.zip and flash via fastboot in bootloader. You should be able to boot to DL mode again.

I notice there is still no explanation on how the device got to this stage. I advise waiting until op explains before committing.

My suggestion was based from my experience. I got the same problem before. Not sure how it happened but flashing hosd fixes my device.
You can try flashing hosd from any 3.35.xxx firmware. I'm on dev edition firmware but hosd does not work, tried hosd from 401 and it worked.

Right. So, what steps did you take? Describe, in detail, what you did.
Then describe the state of your phone right now. For example, can your phone boot into the a)system or b)the bootloader or c)download mode or d)recovery or e)more than one of these (which ones)?
One sentence descriptions are not enough - you're giving answers with so little detail that we can't give reliable advice.
Exactly what happened to me.
Was playing with the xtc2clip returning back to s-on using sd mode. Ended up with corrupted download mode.
Try flashing hosd from .401. It should fix the problem.

[SOLVED]No system installed, H3G__001, S-ON, Relocked, No recovery

Hello everyone, The story with my htc is that an error "Unfortunately settings has stopped" popped up so I went into bootloader and formatted the device, now once the device booted I couldn't get trough setup as the same message popped up over and over so couldn't do anything, then I decided to unlock the bootloader and install twrp so that a custom ROM would work, but once I installed twrp I wouldn't boot system or recovery... so I tried to flash stock recovery but that failed so clever and tired me relocked the device and now the device is relocked and when I attempt to unlock it fastboot claimed a "success" but phone still shows relocked and twrp doesn't want to flash
you must me curious why didn't I just flash the ruu? Well... for this device its cid is H3G__001 and if I can't find a ruu for that that would be correct with the details of the device that would be great

[URGENT!] RUU Error - 9 RU_MAIN_VER_FAIL os-version in android-info missing or

When i tried to use RUU zip in download mode, it gives 9 RU_MAIN_VER_FAIL os-version in android-info missing or error.
My story:

Currently HK version of HTC10 received Oreo update so i wanted to go back to official Sense ROM.

You need to find your HK ROM that has the software version of 2.41.708.31 with the radio version of 61226. I was able to locate it on a paid site. I'll download it and upload it to my Mega account for you. I may be able to get it uploaded tomorrow for you.
Got the ROM uploaded. You can either do a fastboot flash zip 2PS6IMG.zip (just rename the file) in Download Mode or put it on your SD Card and rename the file as 2PS6IMG.zip and get it flashed.

[SOLVED] Problems going back to stock

First i want to apologize for my bad english.
Hello, I'm having a problem taking my HTC 10 (CID: BS_US001)(Unlocked bootloader, S-ON, TWRP) back to stock. Fisrt I tried to run the RUU and doesn't recognize my phone. Then I tried with ZIP and it trhow an error. After that I found the twrp stock back up (from this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-10/how-to/stock-stock-collection-recovery-ruu-ota-t3359297) and my phone doesn't go any futher of the black screen with the HTC white logo (not the silver one), the same things happens if I relock the bootloader but in this case is the silver one with the red text. I'm abble to flash the stock recovery but I want to go back to stock and recieve OTA's updates.
Thank you for your help.

You need the same firmware or higher as your on. Seems like your trying to downgrade while S on which wont work. Use the command "fastboot getvar all" while in download mode and post the output here. Blank out your imei

The RUU will put everything back to stock including stock recovery and erase your internal storage. Bootloader will stay unlocked and you can still take OTA. there is no OTA for US tho.
Thank you @yldlj it works :good:
Now I can wait peaceful the oreo update

HTC 10 Back to Factory ??
Hello Folks
I am trying to restore my HTC 10 back to factory. I purchased the phone completely unlocked from HTC itself.
My CID # is bs_us001
I tried to download RUU EXE file from https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-10/how-to/stock-stock-collection-recovery-ruu-ota-t3359297
but the link is broken
Furthermore the link to OTA is also broken for the same CID number.
Can someone please guide me on how to get my phone back to its factory state. My software version info is:
Android 7.0
Software Number: 2.51.617.21
Kernel: 3.18.31-perf-gbc1ed7a
Baseband: [email protected]_F
Build Number: 2.51.617.21 8.0_g CL942117 release-keys
I really really would appreciate if you someone can point me to a guide and working files to work with.
Thanks

The CID is for Latin America, but the firmware version/version-main is something I've never seen before.
And a google search for it brought up nothing. I've never had a google search for a firmware version bring up nothing at all before. Bring up very little, yes, but never nothing.

That's indeed an odd version...never seen it before.
HTC__332 CID builds, should be x.xx.600.xx (not 592)

Latest one I could find for your CID is a Marshmallow build.
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=385026487222272730
Your current version main indicates the device is on Nougat firmware, so a downgrade may not work at all, especially with the strange version it says you are on.
Not sure what has already been attempted to be flashed to the device, etc...
Good luck!

Which RUU did your try (version number, file name)? And what does that mean you "can't flash stock ruu"? Did you get any error messages, what point did it fail, etc.?
You also need to tell us how it is "bricked"? Were you trying to flash something, or update, etc.? Or just happened on its own (failed to boot to OS)?
Did you do any mods to the phone, or is it (as far as you know) stock? For that matter, did you get the phone used?

I assume when you say "bricked" it means you can't boot to Android OS, but you can get to bootloader (otherwise, you wouldn't have been able to do fastboot getvar).
On the bootloader screen, does it say LOCKED or UNLOCKED near the top?
Also, I recommend you delete IMEI and serial number from your top post. These are personal info, and should not be posted online (and also, not needed to help or advise you).

To confirm, the file actually says "RUU" in the file name, and about 1.5 GB in size?
