Hi team
I'm having an issue - on Global Stable (9.3.2 NDEMIEK and 9.5.4.0 ODEMIFA) phone calls disconnect after 15 minutes with the error message displayed on screen "No response, timed out".
The phone seems to think the call hasn't connected (and hence it disconnects the call), but the call is in progress. Anyone else had this issue or has a fix?
Thanks
Kevin

My Desire (Orange Uk) decided to stop vibrating the other day. Nothing could make it vibrate - I tried emailing it, changing the profile to vibrate-only, locking the phone and moving my finger over the little circles to unlock (the phone usually vibrates a little as you pass over each one), phoning voicemail (the phone vibrates as a call is answered) and powering off and on. Then, suddenly, about 15 mins after I powered on it started working again. Has anyone else had this? Perhaps you have a quicker way of getting it working again?
Update: Since then, it refuses to vibrate for phone calls/text messages/emails. I'm told I can do a factory reset and that might fix it. I don't really want to, though - not every time this happens. Any one else had this and managed to fix it?
About 3 weeks ago, I started getting a "connection reset by peer" error every time I try to download podcasts. The download will reach maybe 15-20% or so, disconnect, and I can start it again, but it disconnects after a few seconds and I have to do this repeatedly until the download finishes. This happens on 3G and wifi, with different podcast apps, and on different roms. I found a post by someone with a similar problem, but there were no replies. I'm really at a loss as to what could be causing this.
Hello.
Just bought Galaxy Ace II GT-I8160, on 4.1.2 stock, I8160XXNB1.
I was thinking of rooting it, but a problem occured and now I reconsider because of the 2 years warranty.
The problem is with calling someone. I call, he responds, we talk a various amount of time and then suddenly I can't hear the person, he can't hear me, the call seconds still move on, but after 5-10 seconds, the phone blocks. The "back" button doesn't work, home button doesn't work only after a few seconds. I can only lock/unlock screen, but the whole phone is a mess. And surprise, in the end, I get a "com.android.phone.apk stopped" and also the "no network" sign in the notification bar. After 10 minutes, the problem dissapears. This doesn't happen every day. I'm guessing that my house is to blame, because i have some stupid rooms where I get only 1-3 bars of signal, but why does phone.apk stops?
Still, is there a software or a hardware problem? How can I solve it? I hope is something software cause I need the phone in the next 2 weeks, can't take it to warranty.
Thanks
Hi! My phone keeps shutting itself down when I receive calls. Well not all the time but, it happens a lot lately. It just rings for a second and shut itself down, when I turn it on, there is nothing in call log. No way to tell who called, very annoying.
It started to happen on CM-based roms. Resurrection Remix and Darkobas, that's why I went back to stock. There was no problem for days (when it happened, it happened everyday at least once) but for the last couple of days, it started to happen again.
Does anyone have this problem? Any solutions?
Hey guys,
I have SM-T705, since I bought it, there is a problem with calls, but the problem doesn't occur in every call
sometimes the call is disconnected for about 15 seconds and back normal, this happens just one time in the call, but may happen at any time within the call, at the start or in the middle, but one it happened and call is back, it doesn't occur again in the call
I hope somebody understand what I mean and has a solution for that
Try with another sim card ?
Try to do a factory reset ?
With data on ?
